Ishu watched the battle before him.

The intersecting beams of light and twisted space formed a deadly maze, turning the entire room into a perilous trap where even the slightest misstep could lead to an irreversible demise.

Even someone of Ishu’s strength was forced to retreat, only able to use celestial magic to provide minimal distractions to Garlos.

"Impressive! Garlos’ power was expected, but this young man named Ed is far stronger than I anticipated," Ishu muttered under his breath.

His gaze was fixed on the battlefield, where Ed’s golden, flame-like eyes glinted with intense fighting spirit.

He clashed fiercely with Garlos, whose spatial magic was deceptive and treacherous.

Ed wielded his radiant magic with overwhelming power, and the battle between the two was nothing short of deadly.

In such a chaotic and unclear situation, both were in great danger.

"The turning point of this battle will come when one of them finds an opening in the other’s defenses. Once that happens, the fight will be over in an instant," Ishu mused quietly.

"The situation has stabilized," Jellal murmured as he stood atop the clock tower, watching the fierce battle still raging below between the Demon God’s Soul and the Light Guilds.

Ultear, standing beside him, nodded at his words and said, "Yeah, with the Council’s troops arriving one after another, the Demon God’s Soul is clearly at a disadvantage now. What they saw was a massive black-and-white light pillar shooting straight up from within the castle, piercing the sky and leaving behind a gaping void.

The sky darkened to an inky black, while bolts of lightning interwove across the heavens, crackling and roaring as if the skies themselves were in fury.

In that moment, the entire world was plunged into darkness.

The sunlight vanished completely, and a foreboding aura spread across the land, as if the entire world had been swallowed by the night.

"It’s over... No, that’s not right. It’s just about to begin."

In the plaza of the Dark Demon Castle, Lia slowly stood up, a faint, joyful smile appearing on her face.

She turned to face Noel, who had just arrived, his expression grave.

Noel spoke softly, "I’m here, Lia."

"I’m so happy you could come and witness the birth of a new world with me, Nord-niisama,"

Lia said, her eyes curling into crescent moons, the curve of her smile growing ever more perfect.
