Chapter 653 - 653 651 Morik Crosses the Dragon Tribulation

Chapter 653: Chapter 651: Morik Crosses the Dragon Tribulation Chapter 653: Chapter 651: Morik Crosses the Dragon Tribulation Whoosh!

Zak the Zircon Dragon soared through the skies, following a bloodline command from the Shadowflame Dragon, almost equivalent to the power of a contract.

It would subjugate itself to the Snowflake Family.

The Snowflake Family was a newly established family created by Viscount Fred, who arrived in the Dreamshadow Flame Kingdom with five great sprites. Four were presented to Russell, leaving just one Snowflake sprite as the noble family name.

Meltingfire had become a part of history; Snowflake was the rebirth.

“Yoohoo!”

Zak let out an excited roar.

It had no fondness for Viscount Fred, perhaps they weren’t very compatible, but that didn’t interfere with its anticipation for Emerald Lake Province.

The reason was simple: Emerald Lake Province was its Warm Enclave, the source of its power, its home.

Returning home always was exciting, and Bipedal Flying Dragons were no exception.

“Such a young flying dragon—seeing those degenerate bipedal flying dragons usually, it indeed feels novel,” remarked Viscount Fred, mounted on a half-eagle half-lion Phantom Beast, lazily following the Zircon Dragon through the air.

“It seems it has no feelings towards you,” the Phantom Beast mindspoke.

“No worries, His Majesty bestowed a Bipedal Flying Dragon Egg upon me; I can choose my own Dragon.” Fred laughed heartily. “As for Zak, let young Fuchs familiarize himself with it.”

Fuchs was his son, only a few years old.

“Looking forward to both of you becoming Dragon Knights”, said the half-eagle half-lion Phantom Beast.

Fred stroked the feathers on the neck of the Phantom Beast, feeling sentimental. “Morik, do you know what I’m looking forward to the most? It’s advancing to a Dragon Domain Lord with you. You’re a Pseudo-Griffin Dragon, surely you can rise to be a true Griffin!”

“I’m striving, Fred. I have fully comprehended the ancient claws left by my ancestors, and I also thoroughly understood ‘The Path of Dragon and Man’ written by His Majesty Russell,” Morik said proudly. “I definitely can!”

“Yes, we definitely can!”

Flying was far more convenient than traveling by land, especially across the Snowfields. Fred could see large groups of laborers below breaking the ice and laying railroad tracks.

Once the railroad under the ice was finished, the Warm Enclave and the Volcanic Oasis would genuinely be connected.

“Following His Majesty was the best decision I, Fred, ever made. Fletcher’s choice to side with the Scorching Torrent Kingdom will probably lead to great regret!” Fred thought of his brother and mother, who had gone to the Scorching Torrent Kingdom.

Initially, they believed the Shadowflame Grand Duchy was merely a Grand Duchy, nowhere as powerful as the Scorching Torrent Kingdom.

But now, just in half a year’s time.

The Shadowflame Grand Duchy had transformed, becoming the Dreamshadow Flame Kingdom, and Russell had ascended to become the first Ancient Dragon Knight in the history of the Dragon Sleep Continent.

“Ah, Fletcher may be foolish, but he is still my brother … I hope to see Mother often through the Amber Dreamland.”

Thinking thus.

Emerald Lake Province was now within sight; a freshly stabilized Warm Enclave still in a state of wilderness.

However, one could now see a significant number of serfs who had cleared land around a chain of lakes—Emerald Lake Province was named for the lakes dotting the territory in lush green.

“Your Grace!” A troupe of Knights, upon seeing Fred, swiftly galloped towards him.

“How many times have I said to call me Sir? The title of ‘Your Grace’ was left in the Molten Fire Duchy!” Fred dismounted from Morik and embraced his followers, who had crossed the vast Snowfields with him to reach here.

Fred had stayed at the Red Castle, while they had come ahead to Emerald Lake Province and had already met Fred’s wife and son.

“Sir, please go home and see for yourself. Lady Valaisa and young master Fuchs have been eagerly waiting.”

“Let’s go, home!”

After saying this, he also called out to Zak hovering in the sky: “Lord Zack, please patrol the domain!”

“Whoa!” replied the Zircon Dragon, as it flapped its wings and swiftly flew away.

Upon returning to his new home beside a lake, which was merely a row of three-story buildings, Fred was immensely excited.

His wife, Valaisa, and his son, Fuchs, were already waiting for him at the door.

The family embraced and cried together, then quickly arranged a banquet in the small building and invited all their followers to join the lunch.

Stomachs full and spirits high.

Fred inquired of his followers, “Has Dragon Seed Land been selected?”

“It has been chosen, Sir,” the followers promptly replied. “The best site lies east of the Emerald Lake Province. If the two Warm Enclaves can resonate, our territory could potentially double in size.”

Another follower added carefully, “Sir, we’ve also found a number of sites for Lord Morik’s tribulation, the most suitable being east of the new Warm Enclave… With these three enclaves resonating, we can directly connect to the Volcanic Oasis.”

“It’s too early for Morik,” Fred waved his hand dismissively, “Come, follow me to Snowfield Dragon seeding!”

“Yes, Sir!”

A grand procession of knights headed towards the snowfield, including Fred’s wife and son among the troops.

By evening, they had finally reached the designated spot.

Without hesitation, Fred pulled out the Bipedal Flying Dragon Egg gifted to him by Russell, burying it in the snow. The marble-sized dragon egg, exposed to the wind, swiftly returned to its original size and melted the ice cover to reveal the land beneath.

Warm patterns radiated outwards, flickering as though breathing.

“Tonight, we camp here and together we watch over… Furman’s birth!” Fred proclaimed loudly.

Furman was the name of this Bipedal Flying Dragon Egg.

As for the attributes of the Bipedal Flying Dragon Egg, Russell had suggested the Titanium Dragon, a type of high-quality metal construction material with extensive applications, slightly more valuable than the Manganese Steel Dragon.

It was a material scarce in industrialization!

Fred had accepted Russell’s suggestion, so this Bipedal Flying Dragon Egg was on the verge of birthing a Titanium Dragon.

Titanium Dragon Furman!

After three days and nights of vigilance, on the morning of the fourth day, the Bipedal Flying Dragon Egg finally transformed into a hot spring. Amidst the erupting geyser, a thirty-meter wingspan, thirteen-meter long, seven-ton Titanium Dragon soared into the sky.

The Shadowflame Dragon had cut corners again, failing to provide the top-tier Bipedal Flying Dragon.

Thus, the size of this Titanium Dragon was only moderately large, just slightly bigger than Ros the Clay Dragon.

Warm Dragon Breath blew in all directions, quickly melting the ice and snow, pioneering the Warm Enclave.

Amidst roars, the excitement of Titanium Dragon Furman faded, and it swiftly descended, gazing face-to-face with Fred.

Taking a deep breath, Fred leapt up and mounted Furman’s back.

At that moment, covered by the Dragon Breath, the fallen realm of the Flying Dragon Knight returned, reclaiming the Dragon Breath power of his past, and compelling Fred to involuntarily shriek upwards, “I, Fred Snowflake, have returned to the realm of the Flying Dragon Knight!”

He reveled in the regained power. His followers, along with his wife and son, cheered for him on the ground.

Only the Pseudo-Griffin Dragon Morik, flying mid-air, gazed at the developing Warm Enclave below, experiencing a profound realization. The texts summarized in “The Path of Man and Dragon” also vividly flashed through his mind.

“Screech!”

Unable to contain himself, Morik issued the loudest eagle cry of his life.

This cry startled everyone.

The eagle’s cry quickly brought Fred back to his senses, then riding the Titanium Dragon Furman, he flew over, “Morik, you’ve realized it!”

“I have realized, Fred!”

“Let’s go face the tribulation!” Fred quickly jumped off Furman’s back and remounted Morik, “Furman, guard my family and followers while I and Morik face the Dragon Tribulation!”
