Evil dragon has a warm heart
Chapter 331 - 331 330 Flying Dragon Knight Russell

Chapter 331: Chapter 330: Flying Dragon Knight Russell Chapter 331: Chapter 330: Flying Dragon Knight Russell The contract had already been established when the Black Oil Dragon Egg was present.

What Russell needed to do now was to cast Battle Qi chains and infuse his Second Turn Prime Breath into Rossay’s body, building a bridge with the Battle Qi chains. Then, through the contract as a medium, he would allow the Dragon Breath to cover his entire body.

In silence.

The Battle Qi chains had already established an energy bridge between human and dragon.

“Roar!” The Black Oil Dragon Rossay roared towards the sky.

Dragon Breath burst forth, surging along the Battle Qi chains into Russell’s body, not merging, but only covering.

This was a power that surpassed the levels of battle energy and Prime Breath.

Humans couldn’t merge with such a force using their own Battle Qi; they could only guide the Dragon Breath to cover their own Battle Qi and Prime Breath.

Moreover, the Dragon Breath transmitted by the Black Oil Dragon Rossay was also bombarding every cell in Russell’s limbs and body, covering every part of his body, every corner, including the Second Turn Prime Breath circulating in his meridians.

“Power!”

Russell’s body began to tremble, not out of fear of this power, but out of excitement at gaining it.

Especially when the Dragon Breath covered the Second Turn Prime Breath, it seemed as if the latter’s power had suddenly doubled.

It was as if every particle of the Second Turn Prime Breath was enveloped by a same-sized particle of Dragon Breath, then becoming stronger.

“This is Dragon Breath…” Russell’s appearance showed no change, but his physical fitness had undergone a tremendous transformation, “No wonder… the stronger the Prime Breath of a Phantom Beast Knight, the stronger the Dragon Breath of their corresponding Flying Dragon Knight!”

The Dragon Breath uniformly covered each particle of Prime Breath; the stronger and more plentiful the Prime Breath, the stronger the Dragon Breath would naturally be.

Feeling the strength gained from the Dragon Breath covering his body, Russell couldn’t help but raise his head and roar towards the sky, “Ah!”

Surging Dragon Breath burst forth from within.

His pale golden hair stood up as if blown by a gust of wind, and his clothes fluttered loudly without a breeze.

Even without employing the Wind Walking Skill, he could walk in the air as if on flat ground, thanks to the Dragon Breath alone.

This was a special characteristic of Dragon Breath.

Battle Qi was light, but not enough to support a knight’s body; Prime Breath was vast, and only with a fusion with the Fantasy Beast could flight be possible; but Dragon Breath was so surging that, without any flashy techniques or merging with a Bipedal Flying Dragon, the knight could float of his own accord.

Stepping on the air, Russell leaped and mounted the Black Oil Dragon Rossay, at the joining place between the neck and shoulders.

There, a slightly concave spot perfectly matched Russell’s seat, allowing him to comfortably ride the Flying Dragon.

It was as though the Bipedal Flying Dragon was born to be ridden by knights.

The Dragon Breath covering his body also merged with the Dragon Breath inside the Black Oil Dragon Rossay through this concave spot. At this moment, the man and dragon were deeply combined, becoming a unique entity in terms of power structure and form.

“Awesome!” Russell gently stroked Rossay’s neck.

Rossay, following his heart’s wish, carried him soaring through the skies, looking down at the changing ice caps of the earth from a Flying Dragon Knight’s perspective.

Centered on the hot spring, within a few kilometers radius, there was a vast expanse of water, and even further out, the ice caps were slowly melting. Large amounts of snowmelt had already flowed towards the lower-lying areas, and even the land around the springs had been exposed.

The location of the hot spring that Russell had chosen was the highest point in the entire plain.

Gurgle, gurgle.

The hot spring continued to bubble up. This place would be the birthplace of the Black Oil Dragon Rossay, just like a volcano where a Great Dragon was born, a ceaseless flow until the end of Rossay’s life.

“Sir!”

Grove shouted loudly, riding atop the Windbladed Brown Bear Bill.

He and Eric had already brought several warhorses near the hot spring and stood on the muddy ground. Men, Fantasy Beasts, and warhorses were all unharmed, but the camping supplies had all been washed away by the water.

Looking at the developing Warm Enclave, both Phantom Beast Knights were uncontrollably excited.

This was a scene that many knights would find hard to witness in their lifetimes.

The earth cracked, hot springs bubbled, ice caps melted, and snowmelt surged, the Warm Enclave’s embryonic form was slowly expanding.

In the future, this place will become a new habitable land for humanity.

“Sir!” Eric couldn’t help but shout out.

Russell, soaring in the sky, heard the shouts of his two followers, and by then, he had also passed the excitement of being promoted to a Flying Dragon Knight.

With a thought, Ross took him in a dive.

Whoosh!

The hind claws of Ross were deeply embedded in the hot springs, where his life originated and where his power began.

But unlike the Great Dragon that can bath in volcanoes to heal, the hot springs for the Bipedal Flying Dragon were merely a starting point. Once hatched, the hot springs could only provide warm water that might have some life-prolonging benefits to ordinary people.

For the Bipedal Flying Dragon, the hot springs were no longer useful.

“We pay our respects, Sir!” Eric and Grove knelt on one knee before Russell, performing the solemn follower’s ritual.

At the same time, they knelt on one knee to Ross: “We pay our respects to Mr. Ross!”

“Please rise,” said Russell, riding on the back of the dragon, laughing heartily, “Only today did I truly understand the power of a Flying Dragon Knight!”

After laughing, Russell looked northward, “We should be celebrating with everyone, but I have an urgent matter to attend to, so… Eric, Grove, after you go back, communicate with Fluorescent Castle and then consider exploring the Warm Enclave.”

He then patted Ross’s neck.

Ross thrust powerfully with his hind legs, leapt up, and flew back into the sky. Russell’s voice gradually faded away: “Everything else will be decided after I return!”

Mind connection.

Unicorn Polly transformed into a beam of white light and shot into Russell’s body, becoming his flowing white hair — Polly’s speed couldn’t keep up with the Bipedal Flying Dragon and had to resort to this tactic to accompany him on the journey.

As for Harpy Dragon Hape, capable of keeping up with the Bipedal Flying Dragon, he closely followed behind Ross.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The wind howled as Russell rode Ross, flying swiftly through the sky to the north. He needed to hurry to the Hu Yang territory … to support his older brother.

Geese flying far away, the sky vast with drifting clouds.

Russell and Ross’s figures soon disappeared from the horizon, leaving only the nascent Warm Enclave, still expanding outward, melting the ice, revealing the earth.

“Shall we return, Mr. Eric?”

“Of course.”

With nothing left to pack up and surrounded by water, the two men could only leave their warhorses at the hot springs and walk through the water with their respective Fantasy Beasts, leaving the Warm Enclave.

“Mr. Ross is really big, much larger than Mr. Ross!” Grove excitedly said while wading through the water.

“Yeah, much larger,” Eric agreed, nodding.

“If I remember correctly, Mr. Ross’s length should be 11 meters, with a wingspan of 25 meters, and weighing slightly more than 7 tons,” Grove stated. These figures were not hard to estimate since Mr. Ross used to roam around Glowing Valley all day.

“That about sums it up.”

“Mr. Ross must be at least twelve or thirteen meters long, no no no, at least fifteen meters. He must be one of the largest Bipedal Flying Dragons I have seen!” asserted Grove with certainty.

Eric nodded again: “Truly one of the largest.”

Both had participated in the second fall and had seen the spectacle of over a dozen Bipedal Flying Dragons circling the sky. Thus they could easily judge the size of the Black Oil Dragon Ross by comparing the proportions of dragons and knights from their memories.

Grove marveled with a tsk, “A length of fifteen meters, with wingspan surely over forty meters, and weighing at least upwards of ten tons!”

Eric said matter-of-factly, “Sir is favored by the Great Dragon, so naturally, Mr. Ross’s size is the strongest among all Bipedal Flying Dragons!”

“Yes, naturally the strongest!”
