"Mom, let’s hurry and leave; the security will be here soon."

"Right, right, let’s go back now. The press conference is about to begin, and there’s no way we can stop what the eldest brother intends to do."

The twins seemed to resign themselves to fate.

"Go back? We’re not going back!" Madam Huo pulled out her phone, "We’ve been at the company for so long, why haven’t we seen your father?"

Madam Huo, with trembling hands, screamed as if she had seen a ghost.

Her piercing scream echoed to the heavens, distinctly different from the high-pitched voice she deliberately used just a moment ago. Huo Kaiping and Huo Kaian, standing by her side, were totally unprepared and felt as if their souls had almost been scared away.

The two shuddered and complained:

"Mom, what are you screaming for? You almost scared me to death!"

"Seriously, don’t scare people like that!"

Normally, Madam Huo would have immediately responded to them, but this time, she was oblivious to their complaints.

Her hands shook violently as her eyes remained fixated on the phone screen, her fingers slid upwards, revealing more photos... Each photo was clear in detail, showing the intimacy of the two people, some too graphic for approval were thoughtfully pixelated by the person who sent the message.

Instead of being comforted by this considerate act, Madam Huo found herself so enraged that her blood pressure soared, almost causing a cerebral hemorrhage!

Judging by the background in the photos and the pair’s changing outfits, it was evident that this secret relationship wasn’t just a one or two-time thing.

Scenes from recent occurrences flashed quickly through Madam Huo’s mind, and at that moment, she was like Detective Conan possessed, magnifying many small details she normally overlooked and connecting them into a string of clues.

Madam Huo, losing her reason to anger, exclaimed, "Where are these adulterous dogs right now! I will kill them!!!"

Huo Kaiping and Huo Kaian were utterly bewildered by Madam Huo’s sudden change, and they even began to suspect their mother had gone mad from the anger caused by their eldest brother; why else would her mood change so drastically just while making a phone call?

The two moved closer to look at Madam Huo’s phone, wanting to see if the call to Huo Song had gone through.
