Chapter 964: Chapter 959: Collecting One

"When ordinary people see his true form, they will be infected, becoming his servants or even clones. In simple terms, any Primordial existence, including my master, has the following characteristics."

Lin Xin walked out of the previously shattered gate, soared into the sky, passed through the underground space, and landed on the bustling streets of the Imperial Capital.

Dongye and the others were already waiting quietly outside. They had also called in a large number of transport trucks and ships, moving one container after another of treasures from underground.

Clearly, they had found the true Treasury.

"Continue speaking," Lin Xin said, while simultaneously directing Dongye’s team and listening to the statue speak.

"The first characteristic. They can manipulate time at will.

Manipulating time is an effortless ability that requires no expenditure for them."

Lin Xin fell into brief silence.

This first point was beyond his imagination.

"Second, the Primordials possess an immortal body and soul will.

This immortality is absolute, truly meaning immortality. If there is no way to destroy their fundamental essence of existence, then killing them multiple times is completely futile."

"What does this mean?"

Lin Xin narrowed his eyes, unable to comprehend.

The statue paused.

"In simple terms, my master’s mode of existence is such that his body exists in countless infinite universes, be they Dark Universes or Great Universes; wherever there is life, my master’s body extends.

So when his supposed true body is killed, it is actually just a tiny fragment, perhaps an infinitesimal hair, of his true body.

Back then, my master’s demise was caused by another Primordial, who directly erased the root of his existence. In an instant, the true body of the master existing in limitless universes lost its soul and will entirely."

Lin Xin felt a vague sense of horror.

He thought he was strong enough, but unexpectedly, the master’s strength surpassed him so greatly, yet was erased.

This dousing of cold water made his whole body feel chillingly cold.

He could sense whether the statue’s words were true or false.

Precisely because of this, he was so shocked, as his intuition told him that everything the statue said was true.

"You have actually encountered such existence before, it’s just that you didn’t realize it. Of course, to them, you are just a speck of dust on a painting, unnoticed, so there’s no need to worry about safety."

The statue continued with words that were half comforting, half not.

"Because their level of existence is completely different from yours, you do not even have the qualification to infuriate them unless you ascend to that plane."

Lin Xin was silent.

He instructed Dongye’s team to handle the other matters as he soared straight into the sky, flying towards space.

"Then, are there any other characteristics?"

"No, others may exist, but at my level, I simply cannot perceive them," the statue calmly stated.

"However, you need not lose heart, your starting point is already much higher than that of the recent failure. The future holds the possibility of crossing into that Realm."

Lin Xin said nothing, directly rising into the air, breaking through the cloud cover, passing through the planet’s magnetic field, and directly entering space.

Outside, the Aojia Empire’s space fleet had already surrounded the entire home planet, but having not received official orders from the Imperial Palace, they could only stay obediently stationary in nearby space.

Suddenly, Lin Xin thought of a question: there are many millennium Fragments, and it’s certainly not limited to the Aojia Empire; the Star Empire also has many such millennium Fragments. So what secrets lie within the millennium key formed by these Fragments?

He couldn’t fathom it.

"The universe is too vast; to completely explore it in mere decades is simply impossible."

Lin Xin mused thoughtfully.

He glanced at the numerous suspended Aojia Empire fleets around.

The officers and soldiers of these fleets were still hesitating whether to attack him.

Being able to traverse space physically, at least signifies a formidable presence at the level of Obliterator. Without clarifying whether it was friend or foe, no one wanted to rashly initiate conflict.

Just as they hesitated, swoosh, Lin Xin’s figure abruptly vanished.

This brought a sigh of relief to the fleets.

Dealing with beings at the Obliterator level is the most troublesome; if one accidentally gets close, it constitutes a major disaster.

Lin Xin darted swiftly through space.

At full speed, he lightly tapped his foot and promptly reached the nearest Wormhole to the Star Empire near the Aojia Empire vicinity, then dove straight in.

Entering the Wormhole physically, he might be the very first throughout history.

Whoosh!!

The dark Wormhole, with an entrance like a tiny black hole, just enough for space motherships to traverse, but more than large enough for Lin Xin.

Upon entry, the terrifying tearing force and the densely packed radiating rays within the Wormhole instantly heated Lin Xin’s body to terrifying temperatures reaching several million degrees.

However, this was meaningless to him.

The physical quality sustained by the four forces made it impossible for these high temperatures to even singe the hairs on his body.

Lin Xin gently stood upright as he flew within the Wormhole.

All around were shades of blue-black, as if he had entered a massive twisted blue tunnel, with walls covered in flowing viscous liquid.

Some scientists speculate those liquids are the life fluids of other parallel universes, much like humans have bloodlines, the universe also has unique pulsations and vessels.

These vessels are displayed in interconnecting space paths—the Wormholes.

"I’ve heard that if you break through this tube wall, you can enter other parallel universes."

Lin Xin slowed down slightly, approached the inner wall of the wormhole, and looked out.

From the tube wall came a faint humming sound, as if some enormous machine was vibrating and resonating.

He didn’t reach out to touch it.

Having studied the current world’s technology disciplines thoroughly, he knew that the inner wall of this wormhole had an extremely powerful rotating force.

It seemed calm and unmoving, but in reality, just a touch would instantly suck anything into the space-time behind it.

So far, scientists have sent a large number of probes into it, trying to detect what universe is beyond the wormhole’s inner wall.

But without exception, they all failed.

Outside the tube wall, it’s like a dead zone, utterly crushing and consuming everything that tries to exit.

The time spent in the wormhole is very short, merely around fifty heartbeats.

At the end is a spinning round hole surrounded by White Light.

Lin Xin charged through the round hole headfirst.

Outside was a vast silver Star River space.

He raised his hand to look at his watch; it was still two twenty-one and fifty-six seconds in the afternoon, the same as when he entered.

"No matter how long one spends in the wormhole, time remains frozen; looks like they were right."

"Next, it’s the turn of the Galactic Empire. They actually dared to send people to besiege me, haha..."

Lin Xin stepped forward, instantly disappearing into the starry sky.

The star maps of the Galactic Empire, he had already obtained from a visiting merchant ship’s computer before going to the Capital City.

What’s next for him is merely to collect Fragments and bring them destruction.

*******************

One of the three principal planets of the Galactic Empire, Planet Oslan.

The azure Planet Oslan was surrounded by a faint yellow Star Ring, which was the result of the entire Galactic Empire’s efforts to create a space defense system.

It could be united with three surrounding planets to form a massive geomagnetic Gaddoom field.

The entire field covered an area of tens of light-years, the strongest and largest defensive system ever created by humans.

Any harmful biological material, including stray asteroids and meteors, would be crushed instantly under this vast field.

This was the Galactic Empire’s greatest absolute Defense, completed over three hundred years ago, and was named the Blue Heart Line by the Great Emperor of the time.

Meanwhile, on the Star Ring of Planet Oslan, a large rotating meteor had transparent luxury cabins of various sizes embedded within it, like glowing crystal diamonds.

Inside one of the cabins.

Tike held a cigarette between his fingers, gazing through the high-strength space glass at the faint yellow Star Ring band continuously passing by outside.

"Do you know? The Oslan Star Ring band can absorb and release an enormous amount of cosmic dust equivalent to the mass of fifty-two Pibia-7 satellites every second."

Tike turned around to face a white tight clothing man sitting on the metal corridor handrail behind him.

"You always come up with these bizarre data comparisons. Do they have any meaning, Tike?" The man in the white tight outfit had beautifully pristine white hair, like snow.

"Just a hobby, nothing but boredom." Tike chuckled, "And you? Aren’t you equally meaningless being immersed in those unimaginable poems and hymns from ancient mythology every day?"

"Life always oscillates between pondering and wasting time, either as a wise man or a fool. I just don’t want to become a fool."

The white-haired man smiled, displaying a perfectly exquisite smile.

He straightened up, tossing a dark gold Empire Gold Coin in his hand.

"The plan against the Aojia Empire has been halfway implemented; in most places, our army and the so-called Righteous Army have achieved preliminary victories.

I heard you collaborated with that guy from the dark side?"

"As Speaker, I only need results; the process doesn’t matter. Moreover, they approached me proactively."

Tike smiled slightly.

He shook the Speaker’s robe on his body, adorned with a Defense Field Ring, which emitted a blue-purple glow under the dim light, looking divine, like a halo.

"So now, you’ve suddenly come to my territory. Is there a new arrangement or plan, An Jie?"

"An Jie, I intend to..." Speaker Tike was about to say the purpose of his visit, but suddenly paused, becoming slightly still, his ears twitching, evidently listening to some communication.

As the message was conveyed, Tike’s expression gradually changed.

Starting from a relaxed and joyful demeanor, then narrowing his eyes, showing surprise, and a heavy complexion.

This was the first time An Jie saw such a variety of expressions on this friend of thousands of years.

"What’s wrong? Did something happen on the Aojia Empire side? Did the plan fail?" he asked with interest.

Tike slowly closed his eyes, rested for a moment, and when he opened them again, there was a hint of heaviness and oppression in his gaze.

"The plan didn’t fail; it was merely preempted by someone." he calmly replied.

Despite his efforts to suppress his raging anger, An Jie could still feel a twisted pressure in his tone.

"You’re angry."

"I’m not." Tike denied.

"No, you’re definitely angry." An Jie gripped the dark gold Gold Coin. "Tell me, what’s happening in the Aojia Empire that’s making you lose composure?"

Tike remained silent.
