Chapter 938: Chapter 933 Primordial Stone One

Wei Bing’s face was calm and cold.

He hurried rapidly toward the depths of the dark tunnel with several people following him.

The surrounding tunnel walls were constantly in irregular undulating motion. Occasionally, one or two blood-red special Talisman Formations would appear, although the meaning of the formations and the symbols within were completely incomprehensible, one could still see strands of evil and despair in those blood-colored lines.

Yang Songyu followed everyone swiftly on the journey, but couldn’t suppress a trace of tension and heaviness in his heart.

"Stop."

Suddenly, Wei Bing stopped in his tracks, standing in the darkness, gazing ahead at the boundless deep darkness.

"Are we there, chief?"

A Primordial Energy user whispered.

"We’re here, but... someone has beaten us to it."

Silver tones began to appear slowly on Wei Bing’s right cheek.

"Dark Envoy’s people?"

His latter question wasn’t directed at the people around him but asked toward an unknown direction in the darkness.

"Not the Black Envoy... truly disappointing..." A burly man with long hair slowly walked out from the darkness.

Wei Bing’s expression suddenly tightened.

He stared intently at the man emerging from the shadows.

"Flute...!!!" His face twisted instantly.

"It’s actually you, you scum...!!!"

"Oh oh oh... actually Aojia Empire’s little lamb envoy?" Flute hadn’t expected to meet an old acquaintance here.

A look of surprise appeared on his face.

"Since parting at Rislu, have you been well?"

Looking at Wei Bing, not far in front with extreme hatred in his eyes staring at him. Flute slightly opened his mouth, wanting to say something else, but in the end, said nothing.

"I’ve been very well, every single moment, day and night, thinking of how to kill you!"

Wei Bing’s state was abnormal.

Not only his several subordinates, but even Yang Songyu clearly noticed.

His body was trembling. As if suppressing something intensely.

"Did my sister give you just a bit of pathetic courage?"

Flute’s black long hair scattered, slightly frayed and curled at the edges, from a distance resembling a black male lion.

He seemed to be surrounded by strands of distortion and suppression, making Yang Songyu his companions feel suffocated facing him.

"Or rather, have you inherited anything besides Freya’s most foolish recklessness and impulsiveness?"

Wei Bing clenched his fists tightly, the familiar scar on his right-hand back seemed to start stinging now.

It was the last mark Flute left on him when his mother was killed.

So many years, fifteen years!

He didn’t expect to encounter the enemy he once constantly thought of killing here, on such an unexpected exploration mission.

"Fernando George, the bloodthirsty butcher who destroyed the Kefra school fifteen years ago, didn’t expect to meet such a high-profile criminal here."

A white-haired young man slowly stepped forward from behind Wei Bing and the others.

It was the White Tiger.

He went back looking for Lin Xin after scouting, but mysteriously found both were gone. Only accelerating forward deeply to explore.

Yet he didn’t expect to catch up with such a scene.

"The Kefra school nurtured you, but instead you destroyed the entire school heritage, alongside your dear sister Freya, hundreds perished at your hands.

Then fled abroad, until now."

White Tiger calmly stopped not far behind Wei Bing.

"Present-day youngsters truly lack manners, facing former predecessors, do they not know how to properly greet them?" Flute smiled.

"Day Tiger?" A Primordial Energy user recognized the newcomer behind Wei Bing.

But what worsened his expression was that he couldn’t sense any Breeding Armor aura on White Tiger.

"Third Level Primordial Energy user... without Breeding Armor..."

"Disperse!"

Suddenly, Wei Bing pushed several people around him forcefully, leaping toward Flute.

But his action was still a beat too slow.

Boom!

An invisible twisted gravitational force appeared among everyone.

Flute unknowingly extended his hand, a ring on his finger originally black, now faintly glimmering with silver light. That explosion was his doing.

He gazed at Wei Bing leaping toward him, the corners of his mouth slightly curving into a smile.

"My dearest nephew, don’t you understand yet... your sister sent you away not to seek revenge, but for you to forget vengeance, hide away, live quietly like a dog in seclusion."

Boom!

Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom!!!

One twisted explosion after another, relentlessly chasing after Wei Bing. The tunnel walls burst, but their thickness didn’t change at all.

The fallen fragments quickly melted away.

In an instant, Flute’s right palm was abruptly covered by a layer of silver metallic structure, akin to a delicate and fine mechanical network, expanding his entire right palm into a mechanical claw.

A crimson rhombus crystal shining rhythmically with a faint red glow adorned the back of his hand.

"Did your sister gift you something? Kefra peak’s Rosefish Breeding Armor?"

Flute laughed nonchalantly.

"Don’t you get it yet? The gap between our computational abilities can’t be bridged by Breeding Armor."

As he spoke, several other Primordial Energy users sprang into action too, mechanical structures surfaced on various body parts, everyone was surging with expanded mechanical force, attacking Flute.

White Tiger and Yang Songyu gritted their teeth, following the charge.

"A tedious game..." Flute’s eyes flickered with disinterest, an encircling transparent distorted barrier rose instantly around.

Lin Xin walked forward slowly.

The tunnel walls on both sides constantly shifted from pitch-dark covered in blood-red Talisman Formations, gradually turning a bright red, as if thoroughly painted with blood.

More and more twisted Runes and line patterns emerged continuously on the wall.

Some words of unknown meaning began to rapidly surface.

’My dear daughter.....’

’Love you, love....’

’Today’s dress is really beautiful...’

’Daddy is the person who loves you the most in the world.’

’Then why can’t he move? Is he asleep?’

’Yes, Daddy is very tired, very tired...’

’A round thing, is it an amulet?’

Lin Xin suddenly stopped in his tracks.

He was looking at a small emerald-green pond ahead of him.

At the end of the cave, there was actually a small green pond.

The water seemed clear, but there was a woman with long black hair standing in the middle of the pond.

The woman had her back to him, revealing a perfect, tempting waist and hip curve.

She wasn’t wearing anything, her fair skin exposed, just quietly standing with her back to Lin Xin.

"Are you Torva? Or her mother?"

Lin Xin stared at her back.

"Tell me, what are you depending on to control such a large space?"

There was no answer.

After a moment of silence.

The woman slowly turned around.

Her chest had been completely hollowed out, leaving only two bloody holes.

And her face was unbelievably old, a kind, elderly face full of age spots and wrinkles.

Her face was mixed with corpse spots, looking like the unwashed reverse side of a roadside stone slab for years, covered in black moss and stains.

"Didn’t Torva tell you?"

The woman answered softly.

"No person fears."

"Tell me, what external force did you rely on?" Lin Xin calmly stared at her.

"If I tell you, will you promise to spare us?" the woman whispered sorrowfully.

"Won’t say? As expected, unwilling to simply confess." Lin Xin lowered his head.

"I... I promise you, I will tell you...." the woman’s eyes flickered. "Whatever you want to know, feel free to ask me!"

"If you won’t say, then forget it." Lin Xin reached out his hand, grasping at her from afar.

"You!!!" The woman’s expression changed.

"I already said I would tell you!"

Ssshh!

A red light exploded, instantly blasting the woman into pieces.

"Still won’t say? Truly resolute." Lin Xin’s expression remained unchanged as he extended his hand again.

"We are praying to the Primordial Stone!! Praying to the original fear! I have told you everything....!"

Boom!!

Yet another red light exploded.

In the darkness, the woman’s second scream could be heard.

"You madman!! Mad...."

The voice abruptly stopped.

At some point, Lin Xin’s neck had suddenly elongated and extended backwards, his neck stretching dozens of meters within just a second, appearing in front of the woman not far away in the dark.

"You!" The woman was shocked and terrified. She turned to flee but it was too late.

Lin Xin opened his mouth wide, revealing blood-like fangs and bit down.

Crunch!

The woman’s entire upper body was bitten off, leaving only two legs standing on the ground, spraying blood everywhere.

Lin Xin then took a second bite.

Swallowed the remaining legs, then swiftly returned his neck to its original state.

"Primordial Stone?"

Streams of ongoing memory fragments kept pouring into his mind.

Choosing to devour her completely was a better choice, so regardless of her answer, the result was the same.

"Primordial fear?"

In this woman’s memories, Lin Xin suddenly saw a peculiar term.

"Incorrect.... this isn’t the actual body of Torva’s mother but merely a manifestation from deep within Torva’s memory of her mother’s image.

This was only a vessel created by evil power."

Lin Xin processed the fragmented memories, instantly realizing.

He looked around, his eyes gradually turning cold.

"The game is over; I’m bored."

He took a step forward, and amidst violent shaking, fractures suddenly appeared around him.

With a crashing sound, the fractures broke apart.

The darkness outside was still dark.

But it was different from here; it more resembled the inside of an infinitely spiraling tower.

********************

The recorder, with an invisible twist of power, landed a punch on Wei Bing’s abdomen, sending him rolling backwards, unable to stop the twisting force from the fist penetrating his internal organs despite countless layers of white ice.

Wei Bing spat out a mouthful of blood on the spot with a pained cry.

The other three Primordial users also lay scattered on the ground, their bodies marked with vicious blood marks and wounds, hitting vital spots and clearly heavily injured.

Yang Songyu was half-leaning against the cave wall, blood at the corner of her mouth.

She hadn’t even gotten close before being swept away by the residual waves.

That is to say, the opponent hadn’t even seen her, and she was already blown away by the massive aftershocks, crashing into the cave wall, coughing up blood and unable to move.
