Chapter 391: Chapter 385: Lion Fist Sect - Part 2
"Less nonsense, try me!"
Before the echo of his words faded, the burly Nan Family man suddenly lunged forward in a rush, swinging his elbow viciously toward Fei Pengzi’s face. With that one strike, he unleashed his Inner Qi, making it clear that the Lion Fist Sect was indeed part of the traditional Qi Cultivator system.
His elbow ripped through the air, bringing a sharp whistle as it ferociously crashed toward Fei Pengzi. If that hit connected, it could likely burst his brains and kill him instantly.
With a metallic ring of his blade, Fei Pengzi’s Sword Light flickered, "Ding ding ding ding," four continuous sounds as he struck the burly man’s body all over.
The gap was so clear, with just a blink of an eye, the Nan Family man was like a leaky bucket, blood hissing and spurting from wounds all over his body, spraying the ground. His movement softened mid-way, the disparity in the speed of their attacks was too great.
The speed and power generated by Inner Qi were simply not comparable to that of a Foundation Establishment Cultivator.
In just one exchange, the outcome was decided.
"Big brother!!" The two men behind him hastily came forward to support him.
"Kill them!!"
The rest surged forward all at once.
A mess of shouts and punches fell like shadows toward the trio.
"Kai!"
With a wave of his sword, Fei Pengzi exploded a burst of air around him. Just one circle of Spiritual Light was enough to send dozens of people flying.
A group of men flew out far, each crashing heavily to the ground.
Bang bang bang bang!
Continuous thuds of falling bodies merged into a rapid patter.
One of them even smashed his head directly into a pot of flowers placed at the edge, his entire face plunging into the dirt.
"Heart Level... master!!"
Only the two men supporting the Nan Family member were still standing, but even they were staring at the trio with faces dripping in nervous sweat.
"Is this the legendary Lion Fist Sect? Not so impressive," Fei Pengzi said, a hint of arrogance spreading across his face as he glanced at the groaning strongmen on the ground.
For these fellows who were usually full of confidence, such disdain was an absolute insult.
All those who could move, however, had been blasted away by that surge of power, lacking any force to resist. The disparity was so great that even fools could see it: bringing even twice as many people of the same level would still result in no match.
"Let’s go, too weak. So weak I don’t even have the desire to take a second look," Lin Xin said indifferently from behind, his gaze like that of a deity, not even glancing at the people lying on the ground as he turned and headed toward the Mountain Gate.
The chubby disciple inwardly praised his master. The man truly lived up to his reputation, his acting so convincing he could be mistaken for a true supreme madman of the martial path.
Thoughts aside, he too turned and quickly followed.
Fei Pengzi seemingly caught up in the act, let out a sinister laugh and turned to follow the two.
"To beat our people and think you can just leave? When has there ever been such a good deal in this world?"
Suddenly, a calm female voice echoed from mid-air.
Whooshing sounds erupted from behind them.
Whoosh...
A dark shadow whipped over their heads, a lithe figure as agile as a swallow tumbled through the air over the trio, and with a loud thud landed in front of Lin Xin, less than a dozen steps away on the ground.
Boom! The ground actually burst open with cracks as the person landed on one knee, her attire a black-tightened suit, startlingly a slender, ******** young woman.
Her long hair was tied into a high ponytail, with silver spiked gloves on both hands, bristling with ferocity.
"You’ve injured my big brother. If I let you escape so easily from our Mountain Gate, where will the face of thousands from the Lion Fist Sect lie?" the woman’s eyes were cold as she stared at Lin Xin, with a glint of murderous intent.
Lin Xin glanced at her dispassionately, still walking toward her with no sign of concern.
The woman’s fists flashed out with silver light, thrusting fiercely toward Lin Xin’s throat.
"Lion Bite!"
Behind her suddenly emerged a faint lion Void Shadow, her Spiritual Energy instantly swelled into a sphere, then quickly condensed, focusing all on her fists.
Roar!!
An explosive roar of a lion charged towards Lin Xin.
Clang!!!
In an instant, a burst of silver Sword Light pierced the air, blocking in front of Lin Xin and fiercely parrying the punch.
Sword and fist both recoiled.
As if there were no hindrance, Lin Xin walked straight towards the woman.
Behind him, Fei Pengzi struck with his sword, instantly turning the attack into a hail of sword rain, driving the woman back.
The path she cleared was precisely walked upon by Lin Xin with apparent indifference.
From start to finish, she couldn’t provide the slightest obstruction before she was directly dispatched by Lin Xin’s subordinate.
Pushed back by the sword rain and overwhelmed by the rush of Spiritual Energy, the woman stumbled several steps back, her face flushing red.
The trio casually strolled past her, not slowing down in the slightest.
As they were about to leave the archway, suddenly a black invitation card spun swiftly toward Lin Xin, slicing through the air.
The invitation was covered with faint, translucent Spiritual Light and brightened with a series of pale yellow Formation Patterns on the side.
Though it was merely a paper card, the whizzing sharpness was even beyond that of a Flying Dagger.
The chubby one quickly stretched out his hand, catching the invitation with precision.
With a snap, he grasped the black invitation, opened it and read,
’Lion Fist Sect, Qing Xiuzhen.’
Suddenly, he felt Lin Xin halt slightly in front of him, surprisingly coming to a stop.
As he abruptly looked up, he only then noticed a terrifyingly strong-looking woman clad in white, standing under the archway ahead, whose presence was previously undetected.
With a towering height over three meters and a body more than two meters wide, the two lumps of flesh on her chest resembled solid rocks with no trace of elasticity. Every inch of her exposed skin, whether on the neck, arms, or legs, was covered in bulging veins and well-defined muscle lines.
This woman was holding a black invitation in her hand at that moment.
"You’ve come to the Lion Fist Sect, why the rush to leave? As the division head, it would be exceedingly rude of me not to entertain you properly," she said with a grin, revealing a fierce and terrifying smile.
Even her face, the most challenging area to develop muscles, was contoured like the body of dragons and snakes.
Thump!
She took a step forward with her right leg in an understated manner, causing the ground to thunderously tremble and a deep footprint to appear instantly.
Strangely, on Lin Xin’s side, Fei Pengzi’s face suddenly changed. He rushed to the front and drew his sword, stabbing it into the ground.
Clang!
The spot he targeted on the ground suddenly burst forth with a surge of mud and rocks, fiercely striking towards his face. However, he managed to block it with the sword in an instant.
Fei Pengzi’s face turned pale, failing to completely neutralize the opponent’s power.
"Third Grade..."
His expression became immediately serious.
Qing Xiuzhen also grew somewhat somber, as the opponent just casually sent out a person capable of halting one of her secret fist techniques she had stimulated covertly.
With a chill in her heart, she began to feel that something was amiss. If all three of the opponents possessed equal strength, then they would have to send a signal for reinforcements from headquarters without delay.
Although it would be somewhat embarrassing, it’d be better than having their branch utterly defeated.
"Who exactly are you?" she narrowed her eyes and stared intently at Lin Xin.
"Who we are is none of your concern..." The chubby one stepped forward, "If the Lion Fist Sect has only this much skill, then today..."
"It’s her," interrupted Lin Xin suddenly.
The chubby one paused for a moment, then quickly nodded. Exchanging glances with Fei Pengzi, they advanced together towards Qing Xiuzhen.
"What do you think you’re doing! Are you seeking death?" Qing Xiuzhen’s muscles all over her body tensed up, and she seemed to grow even larger than before.
"Lion’s Fury Fist!"
She slashed forward with her right hand as swiftly as lightning, a phantom image of a lion roaring into existence behind her arm, crashing down fiercely upon the two men.
"Hui Shi!"
The chubby one lunged forward, a grey current of air wrapping around his waist in a circle, swiftly coiling around his arm, and then he met the oncoming strike with his own, bearing down on it forcefully.
Thump!
Air currents scattered, the tiles under his feet shattered instantly, and the exploding debris punched holes of various sizes into the nearby tree trunk. He could not help but cough up a mouthful of suppressed blood, nearly spitting it out. The opponent was too strong!
On the other side, Fei Pengzi made his move to attack Qing Xiuzhen, but he was immediately blocked by the previously unnoticed woman in the black tight-fitting clothes.
"Don’t even think about it!"
The two were both fast, clashing instantly. The woman’s power was formidable; although her cultivation level was slightly inferior, she managed to stand against Fei Pengzi for a while with her solid basic skills.
In the Foundation Establishment Stage, the strength of cultivators varied greatly. Most contended with divine skills, formation talismans, or magical treasures, relying solely on their own martial prowess was something Lin Xin had never witnessed before.
And it seemed the Lion Fist Sect operated exactly in this manner.
Their physical bodies were incredibly tough; several times Fei Pengzi struck the opponent, and the chubby one also hit the opponent’s vital spots, but they only caused minor injuries that were trivial, enabling them to continue fighting and resisting.
However, it was clear the opponents couldn’t keep up with their speed.
For the time being, none of the four could gain the upper hand over the others.
Lin Xin’s patience gradually wore thin. He looked up into the sky, where a dominating aura seemed to be rapidly approaching from afar.
"These will suffice. Stand down," he said indifferently.
The chubby one and Fei Pengzi quickly withdrew, their faces full of shame. They were unable to handle such a small matter, which didn’t reflect the advantage of accompanying Lin Xin at all.
Moreover, they were disguised as extremity masters who sought challenges in life-and-death situations on the martial path. If they couldn’t even defeat the elite of a small sect, it wouldn’t fit the image of an extremity master at all.
Lin Xin gave a grave look at the two women.
Swish!
In an instant, he surged forward as if teleporting directly behind Qing Xiuzhen with a whip kick.
Boom!
Qing Xiuzhen was struck as if hit by lightning, completely unable to react in time and took the hit to her back, her body violently shaking.
An indescribable horrific power quickly spread throughout her entire body in a very short time. All her cultivation, spiritual energy, and muscles completely collapsed in the blink of an eye.
Her massive frame was tossed high into the air and then fell heavily to the ground, producing a dull thud.
Lin Xin stood behind her, his robe slowly settling, his expression unchanged, as if he had never made a move.
"A casual hit carrying the full power of the initial stage of the Golden Core? Good thing I held back; otherwise, it would be troublesome if she got killed accidentally."
He calculated internally the extent of his own strength. Relying purely on his physical body, if he were to burst forth with all his might, he could reach the power of a Dao Seeking Level Golden Core master’s full-powered divine skills.
And Dao Seeking masters, they were known for their formidable killing force and defensive power. In reality, their recovery, resistance, as well as speed, were far inferior to his current state.
After all, it was an all-around balanced enhancement of his body. Not to mention other aspects, just in terms of endurance, Lin Xin felt he could go full force without rest for ten days and nights, without worrying about losing his edge. Dao Seeking powerhouses, however, wouldn’t be capable of this.
This meant that, in a comprehensive sense, he had already surpassed Dao Seeking. If he were to use Qilin, he would be invincible under Yuan Jing!
