Chapter 368: Chapter 361: Canon of Tao 10

Cousin immediately understood and knew what to do. However, unlike his cousin, when he saw that gesture, he knew that these people might have encountered the scene of his cousin’s previous transaction. It wasn’t merely because of lust.

A flash of murderous intent in his eyes, he subtly gestured to several Bronze Armored Guards around him.

Suddenly, a red net emerged around Wang Peng and his group, completely surrounding them.

"Golden Law Net!" Some cultivators around recognized the name of this magic artifact.

"What a grand move! To use the Golden Law Net, one needs to refine it for one hundred seventy-nine days, and after use, it must be refined again."

"A Golden Law Net that can restrict Taoist Arts and Escape Skills, such a legendary artifact being available here, this truly is the Dao Seeking Snow Mountain."

The four people in the center of the net, including Wang Peng, began to panic, unaware of what was happening, as all their Taoist Arts became unusable.

This red copper net actually was a special restrictive magic artifact that could limit the use of Taoist Arts!

The Silver Armor Guard waved lightly at his subordinates.

"Take them down!"

"Who dares!"

Suddenly, a voice directly interrupted him.

"Lou Xiaofei?" The Silver Armor Guard looked toward the direction of the voice, a fleeting fierceness flashing in his eyes.

His hand did not pause at all, a speck of red light flickered, and instantly the red copper net moved toward enclosing Wang Peng and his group.

Clang!

A white light flashed violently, striking the red copper net harshly.

"An amnesty order?! Lou Xiaofei, you’re seeking death!!" The Silver Armor Guard, with a fierce expression, fiercely stomped the ground, and his whole person charged forward, diving towards the red copper net.

Suddenly, a figure also appeared in front of him; the two exchanged blows in a flurry, creating a burst of electric arcs exploding at the same time.

With a loud bang,

the Silver Armor Guard and Lou Xiaofei both retreated simultaneously.

"What’s going on? What happened here?"

A calm and gentle male voice carried over.

The crowd parted, and a group of people in black cloaks slowly walked in, the leader with a handsome face and extraordinary demeanor, his silky black hair draped over his shoulders.

He was smiling as he watched the unfolding scene.

"The Yuan Dou Demon Sect has arrived; now there’ll be a good show to watch."

Voices faintly transmitted through the crowd.

"Master!" Jade Fox’s head finally popped up, calling out to the man in the black cloak.

"Crown Prince!"

Lou Xiaofei respectfully bowed to the man.

"The Crown Prince?!" Both the Silver Armor Guard and Wei Tiancheng’s hearts skipped a beat. This was a real powerhouse from the Yuan Dou Demon Sect.

"With the Third Crown Prince personally present, it is perfect to witness the handling of the traitors against the Code of Law. I, Wei Wuxuan, uphold the impartial Code of Law and deal with those who disrupt and destroy it accordingly. Surely, Your Highness has no objections, right?" the Silver Armor Guard said calmly.

Wei Tiancheng dared not speak further, dealing as it was with the highest echelons; although he was frivolous, he was not ignorant of the gravity of the situation.

"I naturally have no objections to lawful enforcement," Lin Xin replied with a smile, "but how did my ordinary Jade Fox servant become a traitor in your words? With such powerful guards present, I don’t believe my subordinates with Third Grade cultivation could cause any damage."

"That I do not know, I expect they have their ways of concealing themselves. Even as their master, if the Crown Prince cannot detect them, then it seems we must thoroughly interrogate them," Wei Wuxuan said coldly, unyieldingly confronting Lin Xin.

"So, are you determined to take my people away?" Lin Xin still smiled, but a hint of chill had crept into his expression.

"This team is merely following the rules. If Your Highness has objections, you may appeal for a decision by the Golden Armor." Wei Wuxuan’s lips curled into a cold smile.

"Take them away!"

Boom!

The moment the words fell, an extremely powerful burst of Spiritual Pressure exploded,

instantly pushing back everyone present a few steps.

Lin Xin’s figure appeared right in front of the red copper net, his hand outstretched to grasp it.

Hiss!

The copper net was suddenly torn apart, as effortlessly as tearing paper, casually tossed aside.

The Wei brothers stood, dumbfounded,

as the other members of the defensive guard stared wide-eyed, mouths agape.

"This was the Golden Law Net....!!"

"Weighing 264,000 pounds!! Even a Demon King would have to revert to their original form to move it!"

"What tremendous strength! Truly worthy of being the Crown Prince of the Yuan Dou Demon Sect!"

The nearby cultivators were all stunned by the sight.

"Your Highness, are you trying to protect a traitor?!" Wei Wuxuan resisted the Spiritual Pressure and shouted harshly.

"Just because you say they are traitors, does that make them so? Who do you think you are!?" Lin Xin’s eyes narrowed, a hint of murderous intent flickering across his pupils.

"I am a member of the Daoist Code’s Defensive Guard, enforcing the law justly. Do not force me, Your Highness!" Wei Wuxuan shouted harshly.

"And what if I do force you? Let’s go." Lin Xin tore open the Golden Law Net and turned to leave.

"Surround the spy!" Wei Wuxuan suddenly drew his sword, with a clang pointing at Wang Peng and his three companions.

Instantly, the surrounding guards, though reluctant, still gathered around and once again enclosed Lin Xin and his group.

"Are you trying to rebel?" Lou Xiaofei shouted angrily.

Lin Xin couldn’t be bothered to respond any longer, slowly pressing down with his hand.

Boom!!

The air around violently exploded like a burst, unleashing an extremely viscous and terrifying spiritual pressure that surged towards the guards on all sides.

Including Wei Wuxuan, all the guards along with the onlooking cultivators were simultaneously pressured by the spiritual pressure to take a step back.

Both Wei Wuxuan and Wei Tiancheng were among the first to be directly impacted, pressed firmly by the spiritual pressure, unable to move, with veins bulging all over their bodies as if they were constantly under immense pressure.

Lin Xin’s power was comparable to even the top Dao Seeking experts, and although he could not reach the highest echelon, he certainly was not someone like Wei Wuxuan, who barely met the criteria of the Dao Seeking level, could contend with.

The violent spiritual pressure continuously layered upon Wei Wuxuan, whose cousin was the first to succumb, spewing blood from his throat and collapsing to the ground.

Wei Wuxuan’s face turned red, staring stubbornly at Lin Xin, clearly determined not to retreat even if he couldn’t withstand it.

"Why does His Highness, the Crown Prince, rage?" Suddenly a gentle yet commanding voice drifted from afar. It was indeed the Elder Hong Gui from the Sky Cloud Dao.

Lin Xin’s vigilance flashed through his mind, and he quickly took a step back.

Hiss...

From afar in the sky, a majestic and terrifying spiritual pressure roared towards him, resembling a semi-transparent pale blue ocean wave!

Before the spiritual pressure even reached him, Lin Xin felt the premonitions brought by his evasion attribute, frantically signaling him to dodge.

If hit by this spiritual pressure, he feared that his bones would break instantly, causing severe injury.

His expression changed, ready to dodge.

"Hong Gui, you are not properly presiding over the first tournament, and now you casually intervene in matters of the Code of Law, isn’t that a bit too much!"

Just as Lin Xin stepped back, a massive terrifying spiritual pressure, resembling a large pale red ocean wave, surged out from behind him. It supported him while directly rushing towards what was in front of him.

The two colossal spiritual pressures collided right in front of everyone, in the air above the venue.

Boom...

There was no huge explosive shock, only a series of deep vibrations sounding like the growls of a giant beast.

The two spiritual pressures continuously clashed in the air overhead, the mere airflow squeezed out causing ripples across the protective aura around Lin Xin and his group.

"How come? Guan Mingyue, you decided to come out?" Elder Hong Gui suddenly appeared not far behind Wei Wuxuan, as if he had been standing there for a long time. He looked past Lin Xin, towards the person behind him.

Just behind Lin Xin, an old man was floating cross-legged in midair, his eyelids drooping lazily, half-open and half-closed, watching the scene before him.

"I’m not in charge this time, everything is decided by His Highness, the Crown Prince." He said casually.

Lin Xin narrowed his eyes and glared darkly at Elder Hong Gui, knowing that if it weren’t for Elder Guan’s intervention a moment ago, he might have been crushed by the Yuan Jing Level spiritual pressure, resulting in broken bones and severe injuries.

This old fellow hadn’t planned to show any mercy at all.

With this thought, he had already made up his mind.

"This matter was provoked by the captain of the guards, who absurdly claimed that my little Jade Fox was a spy of the Code of Law, demanding its imprisonment in the ultimate prison. This matter, both emotionally and logically, as its master, I need a clear explanation! Elder Hong Gui, wouldn’t you agree?" he slowly started explaining.

"The Golden Armor Elder is currently investigating another urgent matter and cannot be present. However, since your subordinate is accused by the honored nephew of being a spy, there must be some issue. Detaining it for interrogation isn’t a big problem; after all, it’s just a servant, what impact could it have?" Elder Hong Gui’s response left Lin Xin slightly stunned.

"Just a servant, what a bold statement!" Wang Peng could not help but interject.

"Is it your place to speak?" Hong Gui gave him a cold look.

Suddenly, a white glare burst from his right eye, shooting towards Wang Peng’s mouth like lightning.

"Elder Hong Gui has quite the temper. Why not sit down and discuss this properly?"

A third voice suddenly appeared, silent and formless, just the sound of it made the white light headed towards Wang Peng’s mouth disappear as if melting snow.

The Second Jade Lady with two young women holding fans landed beside the two.

With that, all three Yuan Jing Level hosts gathered in this corner.

After the Second Jade Lady landed, unexpectedly, she only nodded slightly at Lin Xin, her gaze passing over him and landing on Wang Peng, to whom she smiled gently.

"Young friend, thank you for your help earlier with my daughter."

Wang Peng was somewhat dazed, blinking his eyes, not understanding what was happening.

Lin Xin and Elder Guan were also somewhat baffled, not understanding how these two people, one a top expert among the Yuan Jing and the other merely a common cultivator who had just reached the Code of Law level, were related.

"Wang Sheng, thank you for your help earlier in the tunnel," suddenly the woman behind the Second Jade Lady slowly appeared, covered in a green veil.

"Miss Yu Liuqing!" Wang Peng suddenly made a strange face, staring intently at the woman across from him. Even through the veil, he could make out her stunningly beautiful face and her nearly perfect seductive figure.

For the first time, The Second Jade Lady’s demeanor visibly shifted to a cold glare, focusing on the Wei brothers.

"Earlier in the tunnel, the kindness you showed to my adopted daughter, I’ve kept them all in my heart," she said.

Upon hearing this, faces of the Wei brothers turned completely pale.

"How can these words come from you, elder..." Wei Wuxuan forcibly composed himself. "Previously, we didn’t know Miss Liuqing was your newly adopted daughter. If we had known..."

"If you had known, I fear your Wei family would have had to deploy your ancestors to personally capture Qing’er, right?" The Second Jade Lady’s voice suddenly turned cold.

Bang, bang!!

Elder Hong Gui suddenly swung his sleeve backwards, hitting the Wei brothers in the forehead. Their heads burst open, and they fell to the ground without a sound.

"Hong Gui!" The Second Jade Lady and Elder Guan didn’t expect him to act like this, but it was too late to stop him.
