Her eyes, like black grapes, darted around nervously. Though she feared his approach, she pretended to be bold. A peculiar glint flashed across Bai Chenyao’s dark eyes.

"I’ve eaten!"

Gu Tiantian blinked and was just about to find another topic to distance herself from Bai Chenyao when he lifted her up entirely.
