That day, Chi Yue and Nan Yuan arrived at the hospital together, while Chu Shuo had already brought Nan Bingyu over.

They had no time for pleasantries before being ushered in for pre-surgery preparations.

Nan Yuan and Chu Shuo stood at the entrance of the operating room, with the former’s face full of concern.

Chu Shuo, on the other hand, was not worried at all. "I’ve already notified them. If there’s an emergency, they will inform me promptly."

Nan Yuan: "Thank you."

"Don’t mention it, I’m not doing this to help you."

After a moment of silence, Nan Yuan said, "You really like Chi Yue, don’t you?"

Chu Shuo laughed, "By saying that, I might suspect you’re trying to stir trouble between me and Brother Five."

He neither confirmed nor denied, and Nan Yuan didn’t continue to ask.

Xi Yihang didn’t retaliate but turned to look at the operating room, "If you don’t stop right now, I’m calling the cops."

Chu Shou was unafraid, "Fine, call the cops then. If you end up jeopardizing someone’s life, I’ll make sure you rot in jail."

Xi Yihang called the police in front of them.

Not to be outdone, Chu Shuo called Fu Rongyin right in front of Xi Yihang.

He reported that Chi Yue was undergoing an abortion and that Xi Yihang was causing a disturbance.

Upon hearing this, Fu Rongyin said he would come over with the police.

The police arrived quickly and after understanding the situation, asked Chu Shuo to cooperate with their work and open the door to the operating room for them to check inside.

Chu Shuo confidently contacted the operating room and opened the door, allowing a crowd of people to stream in.

Xi Yihang hurried ahead, entering the operating room before Chu Shuo and the others.

But what he discovered was that the person lying on the operating table was Chi Yue, not Nan Bingyu!

Chi Yue hadn’t started the surgery yet; she sat up warily, "What are you doing?"

Xi Yihang narrowed his eyes and asked, "Are you pregnant?"

"Yes, I am pregnant, but since when do I need to report this to you?"

After the group had left, only the female police officer and Chi Yue remained in the operating room, with the latter lying back down.
