Fu Hanyan: "You said it yourself, he is your fiancé, and your every action represents him. But don’t forget, he doesn’t acknowledge your status at all right now. If you offend him again, I reckon he’ll promptly announce his marriage to Ling Jiayu."

Situ Wei’an’s face was exceptionally unsightly.

Situ Wei’an felt the threat from Fu Hanyan, her tone was calm, yet Situ Wei’an could feel the implied threat in her words.

Chi Yue did not react.

The follow-up was requested by Xu Zhenwen, and Situ Wei’an, eager for Xu Zhenwen to oversee her wedding, dared not go against Xu Zhenwen’s wishes, no matter how many thoughts she had.

Once the door closed behind the departing guest, Fu Rongyin turned his gaze to Chi Yue.

Chi Yue: "What are you trying to do? Bringing your nominal fiancée here to back me up?"

Fu Rongyin reminded her, "Don’t forget, you are my former fiancée who hasn’t had the engagement called off yet, and you are also my subordinate."

Chi Yue’s smile didn’t reach her eyes, "You have never acknowledged me."

"Every one of my fiancées, as long as the Fu family acknowledges them, it’s not up to me to decide."

Chi Yue remained silent.

If it weren’t for his expression being so indifferent, she might have thought he was mocking the Fu family.

Chi Yue glanced at the time, "Don’t stay too long here; I have other things to attend to soon."

Fu Rongyin stood up, "I’m taking you somewhere."

"Where?"

"The psychiatric hospital."
