But Fu Rongyin seized on her words, "Do you think I went to find him and fought with him because you want to be with him?"

Chi Yue pursed her lips and said nothing.

Fu Rongyin chuckled lightly, "It’s true, anyone would think that way. Only, Chi Yue, do you really believe that you can smoothly be with Nan Yuan?"

"What do you mean?"

"Has Nan Yuan not told you that he still has Xiao Yan in his heart?"

This statement was affirmative, not interrogative.

Chi Yue didn’t know at first. Too many things had happened in the past two days. It would have been hard not to find out even if she hadn’t wanted to.

But if these two people still liked each other, why weren’t they together?

After she finished speaking, she walked away without giving him a chance to react.

She didn’t head directly back to Nan Yuan’s hospital room but paused in the hallway to adjust her mood.

She had learned about Fu Rongyin’s wedding date at the studio. That morning, while she was at work, her colleagues were chatting idly, and she overheard them.

With Fu Rongyin getting married, it was time for her to discuss terms with Xu Zhenwen.

After calming herself down, Chi Yue ran into Fu Hanyan on her way to Nan Yuan’s hospital room.

"Chi Yue."

Chi Yue stopped, "Do you need something?"

Fu Hanyan handed her one of the bags she was carrying, "You haven’t eaten yet, right? We can’t eat all of this. You take it."

Chi Yue saw that it was packed meals.

There were four portions in each bag. To say she couldn’t eat that much, Fu Hanyan wouldn’t have bought so much.

She instantly understood Fu Hanyan’s intention. Stretching out her hand, she said, "Hand it over, I’ll say I went out to buy it."

Fu Hanyan looked at her gratefully, "Thank you."

Chi Yue gave a slight nod, ready to head to the hospital room.

"Chi Yue," Fu Hanyan called her again, "I’m sorry, I... I was rude today."

Chi Yue wasn’t sure what she was referring to and randomly acknowledged it, then quickly left.

As she approached the door to Nan Yuan’s hospital room and was about to push it open, Nan Bingyu’s voice of despair came from inside.

"How could you do such a thing?! Did you not consider Yueyue before doing this? She confessed to you; why did you still have to provoke Fu Hanyan?"

Nan Yuan reminded her, "Keep your voice down. Is this how a lady behaves?"

"I can’t keep quiet. Nan Yuan, I’m asking you one more time, do you really not accept Yueyue?"
