Chi Yue chuckled, pulled open the door, and walked away without looking back.

She hailed a car downstairs and gave the driver Nan Bingyu’s address before blocking Fu Rongyin on her phone.

Worried that showing up suddenly might scare Nan Bingyu, Chi Yue dialed Nan Bingyu’s number to give her a heads-up.

The call was answered, and a male voice came through.

Chi Yue hurried along and finally arrived before Nan Bingyu was forced onto a plane.

The group got into the car, with Nan Bingyu and Chi Yue sitting in the back seat.

"Yueyue, do you think Fu Rongyin has suffered some major trauma?"

Chi Yue knew the trigger lay with her; she said: "Stay with Lawyer Xi for the next few days and don’t go anywhere alone. I’ll call you once I’ve dealt with this."

Nan Bingyu frowned, "Are you going to compromise with him again?"
