"Can’t you two stop arguing? Chu Shuo, I’m with Master Wu voluntarily. I have no one to back me up now, and when someone targeted my company, I could only turn to him. Do you understand?"

Chu Shuo was stunned, his expression growing even colder, "Do you know what you’re saying?"

"He didn’t force me; I chose to be with him willingly. In Nancheng, only he can protect my mother’s legacy."

Chu Shuo looked at her disappointedly and strode away.

Watching his retreating figure, Chi Yue felt a complex mix of emotions, yet she also breathed a sigh of relief.
