Chi Yue didn’t want to continue talking to her and went back to her room to rest.

That night, she kept her eyes open until dawn. Just as she was about to fall asleep, she heard Nan Bingyu’s anxious voice in the living room, "What did you say? He wants us to leave now? Wait for me, I’ll be right there, we absolutely cannot go with them..."

Chi Yue rushed out without even fixing her clothes, "Xiao Yu, what’s wrong?"

Nan Bingyu looked up, her eyes unfocused, "Yueyue, Fu Rongyin, he’s utterly conscienceless."

A chill went through Chi Yue’s heart, "What did he do?"

"He wants to send us all abroad, they are at my house right now... I can’t talk anymore, I need to rush back."

Nan Bingyu ran off, and by the time Chi Yue came to her senses, she had disappeared.

Chi Yue, with a stern face, went back to her room, washed her face quickly, changed her clothes, and took a taxi to the Fu Family’s company.

On her way, she called Fu Rongyin, but he didn’t answer. She then texted him, but got no response.

When Chi Yue arrived at the company, she was stopped at the reception and after a long time, she found out that Fu Rongyin wasn’t in the office but at the hospital.

Chi Yue held her breath tight in her chest and immediately took another taxi to the hospital.

After finally finding Gu Qingyu’s hospital room, she was stopped at the door by Xu Zhenwen.

"What are you doing here?"

"I’m looking for Mr. Fu."

Xu Zhenwen’s expression darkened, "He’s not here."

Chi Yue clearly heard Fu Rongyin’s voice coming from the hospital room, she said, "I have urgent business with Mr. Fu. I must see him today."

Saying this, she was about to knock on the door.

"How dare you! Are you going to be this presumptuous in front of me? How could he even bother with someone as disrespectful as you?"

Chi Yue’s expression turned even colder, "You’ll have to ask him that."

Chi Yue reached out to knock, but Xu Zhenwen stood in front of her. Little did she know, Chi Yue lifted her foot and kicked the door open.

In the hospital room, Fu Rongyin was on the phone. Seeing her, he hung up.

Chi Yue walked up to him, "Mr. Fu, please let Xiao Yu’s family go. Don’t make them leave Nancheng."

Fu Rongyin glanced at Xu Zhenwen without any expression and walked out.

Chi Yue immediately followed.

As she passed by Xu Zhenwen, Xu tried to pull on Fu Rongyin but caught a glimpse of Gu Qingyu opening his eyes on the bed and she swallowed back her words.

Chi Yue followed Fu Rongyin into the elevator and said, "Mr. Fu, the Nan Family has done no harm to you, why do you want to send them abroad?"

Fu Rongyin glanced at her lightly, "What do you think it’s for?"

"Because of me? They have nothing to do with me, why are you targeting them?"

"If they are gone, where else could you hide?"

The man’s voice was soft, yet it chilled Chi Yue to the bone.

In the end, she compromised, "What do you want to not send them abroad?"

"You know what I want." He handed her a key, "If you are not moved in within two hours, they will be on the plane on time."

The elevator doors opened, and the man walked out without looking back.

Chi Yue held the cold key, her heart chilled to the core.

Without wasting time mourning, she took a taxi home, quickly packed some luggage, and then went to No.1 Bay.

The moment she entered the door, she received a call from Nan Bingyu.

"Yueyue, did you make a deal with Fu Wu?"

Chi Yue, "No."

"Really? If not, why would he suddenly let us go home? Yueyue, you must not do anything foolish, sacrificing yourself for such a man isn’t worth it."

Chi Yue’s eyes welled up slightly, "I’m really fine, you guys go home first, and please apologize to Uncle and Aunt for me."

She hung up the phone, not giving Nan Bingyu a chance to speak.
