Perhaps it was an inauspicious start; Chi Yue had just arrived at the company entrance when she encountered Gu Qingyu.

Gu Qingyu, carrying a food container, approached Chi Yue, "Miss Chi, what a coincidence?"

Chi Yue, blocked by her, was forced to greet her, "Not a coincidence at all. I came here specifically to find you."

"To find me?" Gu Qingyu feigned surprise, "Do you need something from me?"

"If you don’t mind me saying it here."

Gu Qingyu smiled, "I need to deliver lunch to Ah Yin first. If you don’t mind, could you wait here for me?"

Chi Yue was noncommittal.

Gu Qingyu took that as her agreement and had the reception lead her to a nearby rest area.

But resting was out of the question. Chi Yue knew all too well that Gu Qingyu had no intention of dealing with her; the wait could be indefinite.

After Gu Qingyu entered the elevator, Chi Yue said to the receptionist, "I just remembered something urgent; could you take me to find Gu Qingyu?"

The receptionist did not hesitate, escorted her into the elevator, and thoughtfully pressed the floor button for her.

Chi Yue noticed that she had pressed for the top floor.

Gu Qingyu headed to the top floor, and as far as Chi Yue knew, the top floor houses the CEO’s and the chairman’s offices, which means Fu Rongyin may have already taken over the family business.

Chi Yue was plotting in her heart.

Upon reaching the top floor, the elevator doors unfolded.

Someone was waiting at the entrance to greet her, "Miss Chi, right? Please follow me."

The person led her to the door of an office, "Miss Gu is inside, she just went in. Just knock on the door."

"Okay, thank you."

Chi Yue stood at the door for a moment, finally hearing voices from inside.

"Brother AhYin, guess who I just saw downstairs?"

Fu Rongyin’s voice then sounded, "Who?"

"It’s Miss Chi. I thought she still held a grudge against me because of the last incident, but unexpectedly, she came to me, saying she had something to discuss."

Fu Rongyin did not respond, his thoughts unknown.

Gu Qingyu continued, "I asked her to wait for me downstairs, but since I won’t leave anytime soon, could we let her come up to your office?"

Fu Rongyin’s voice quickly came through, "You can leave now, I don’t need you here."

Unable to listen any further, Chi Yue knocked on the door.

"Come in."

Chi Yue pushed the door open and, unsurprisingly, saw two faces in shock. She walked up to them expressionlessly, "Good, everyone’s here. We can talk now."

Chi Yue put a stack of documents on the table, "I have no quarrel with you, so why target my shop?"

Fu Rongyin, eyes half-closed, picked up the documents from the table and began looking through them one by one.

Gu Qingyu felt somewhat guilty. She forced herself to appear calm as she looked at Chi Yue, "Miss Chi, might there be some misunderstanding here?"

"All the evidence is right here. If you think it’s a misunderstanding, I can take it to the police station to let the police deal with it."

Framing someone and selling brand counterfeits is a crime.

Gu Qingyu was taken aback at first but then smiled, "Miss Chi really knows how to joke. If you wanted to report this to the police, you wouldn’t have come here looking for us."

"I’ve already reported it to the police," Chi Yue said.

Before coming here, she had gone to the police station and handed over the most compelling evidence to the police.

Gu Qingyu thought she was just being threatened, so she did not take it seriously, "Miss Chi, could there be some misunderstanding here? If you don’t mind, shall we let Brother AhYin verify the situation first?"
