Chapter 493: Is this a Memory or Her Sexual Fantasy?

Chapter 493: Chapter 493: Is this a Memory or Her Sexual Fantasy?

The man was bare-chested, a towel wrapped around his lower body, his firm abs sexy and powerful, and the alluring Apollo’s belt disappeared at his waistline.

Cooper Coldson was drying his hair with one hand, his head slightly lowered. When he sensed an inexplicable change in the air, he slowly raised his head.

Their eyes met, and Yolanda Greenwood instantly turned away.

"I... Adam Sterling said you have a cleanliness obsession and asked me to change your bedding." She explained, stammering.

"What obsession," Cooper chuckled softly, those quirks had long disappeared during that year at sea, but he still thanked her, "Thanks for the trouble."

"Then..." Yolanda still had her back to him, pointing backwards with her fingers.

"Oh, I can make the bed myself, thank you." Cooper watched as Yolanda hurriedly left.

Yolanda went straight to the bathroom and washed her face with cold water. Strangely, the scene just now kept playing in her mind.

She slapped her face hard, but couldn’t help but wonder how Cooper, a CEO who sits in an office all year, wasn’t pale and thin?

It seemed like some images flashed in her mind, still chest muscles and Apollo’s belt, a man’s body approaching her, but his skin was even whiter than hers.

Yolanda shook her head vigorously and those images vanished. Were those her past memories? Or... sexual fantasies after seeing Cooper half-naked?

She was so embarrassed she wished the ground would swallow her up, and quickly splashed her face before returning to the room.

The two little ones were already asleep, and Serena Seward seemed to be waiting for her, "Did you help Mr. Coldson?"

"Yeah." Yolanda smiled, "I sent the bedding over; he made the bed himself. Teacher, you should rest early."

"Yolanda," Serena’s voice had a special comforting power, "I still say this, when Adam recovers, if you want to recover your memory, I can help you."

"Yes, thank you, Teacher." Yolanda expressed her gratitude, "I’ll consider it carefully."

The next day, after everyone sent Little Gabriel and Little Ella to kindergarten, they went to the place where Adrian Sterling was settled.

It was a villa in the suburbs.

Adam Sterling chuckled, "Isn’t this a bit too much?"

"I can’t help it, of all the houses I own, this is the furthest from yours." Cooper laughed as he explained, and at that moment, the two seemed to have become friends.

"Thanks, but about the expenses..." Adam appeared to be in a particularly joking mood today, "I might not be able to pay it all at once."

"No worries, pay it back slowly." Cooper said nonchalantly.

"Then..." Yolanda asked tentatively, "Should we go in with him?"

"No need." Adam instantly refused, turning to Serena, "Teacher, I want to go in by myself."

"Of course, your opinion matters most."

Everyone watched Adam enter the villa.

"It seems Adam is indeed not afraid," Yolanda breathed a sigh of relief, "He just made several jokes."

Serena shook her head, "He’s nervous."

She turned and asked Cooper, "Is there surveillance inside?"

"Yes." Cooper nodded, took out his phone, and pulled up the villa’s surveillance footage.

All his houses had surveillance, although he rarely checked it. But ever since Adrian moved in here, he would occasionally take a look.

So, the three of them sat in the garden, gathered around the phone, watching the situation inside.

As soon as Adam entered, the smile on his face disappeared. He stood at the door, cautiously looking around without seeing any sign of Adrian Sterling.

"He’s upstairs. Do you want me to call him?" There was a housekeeper in the villa, who was in charge of monitoring Adrian Sterling.

"No need, you can leave." Adam instructed the person to leave.

"Alright." The person had already been notified and quickly left, following Adam’s arrangement.

The only ones left in the villa were Adam and Adrian Sterling upstairs.

Adam took a deep breath, not rushing upstairs, but instead sat down on the sofa in the living room.

About ten minutes later, there was a sound from upstairs. Adrian Sterling came out of the room, shouting, "Ask your President Coldson, when exactly is my son coming?"

As he spoke, he headed downstairs and immediately saw Adam standing in the living room.

The two were silent for a moment.

Adrian Sterling strode over, looking dissatisfied, "You finally decided to see me?"

Adam instinctively stepped back, pressed against the sofa, his forehead again beading with sweat, his breathing became more rapid, obviously frightened again.

Adrian Sterling ignored Adam’s reaction, sitting on the sofa opposite him, "How many years have you been running? Twenty years? Has it been twenty years? Don’t you miss your father?"

He looked at Adam and started cursing, "Don’t forget, without me, there’s no you. You can run, but even if you run to the ends of the earth, I’ll drag you back."

Adam still stood there, looking somewhat helpless.

Outside the villa, Yolanda couldn’t help but worry, "Will it be okay? Adam seems very scared."

"Let’s see. Adam is also trying to overcome his fear; we need to give him some time." Serena said calmly.

"Okay." Yolanda nodded gently.

Cooper noticed her tension and gently patted her shoulder, "It’s okay."

Yolanda gratefully tugged at the corner of her mouth.

Inside the villa, Adrian Sterling continued berating Adam for running away for so many years, claiming how hard his life had been, how difficult it was to find Adam.

Adam still stood there, staring straight at him, with little reaction.

"You damn kid!" Adrian suddenly got angry, "Do you know your mother died? Because you ran away..."

He paused, shouting, "Your mother went looking for you and got hit by a car, you damn kid, you caused your mother’s death! And you’re living a good life now, are you worthy of your mother?"

At this point, Adam’s expression changed from fear to anger.

He asked in a low voice, "You said, how did my mother die?"

"Hit by a car, while looking for you." Adrian stubbornly stuck his neck out, glaring at Adam, "You heartless bastard, you killed your mother!"

Adam lowered his head, seemingly admitting fault.

Adrian felt he finally hit the key point and scolded even more harshly, "That was your mother, who gave birth to and raised you, you wolf pup, you fled for so many years, your mother’s spirit in the heavens is also cursing you."

"Of course she would curse me." Adam still hung his head low. He turned and walked towards the cabinet beside him, "I’m too cowardly, I had no face to return, no face to see her. Just the thought of your face scares me witless."

Adrian sneered proudly, "I’m your father, isn’t it natural to fear me?"

Outside the villa, Yolanda frowned, watching Adam continue moving sideways. She questioned, confused, "Is Adam planning to come out?"

"No!" Cooper was the first to stand up, quickly running towards the villa, "He’s going to kill Adrian!"
