Chapter 433 Dismissing Elsie Adams and Caleb Sullivan

Chapter 433: Chapter 433 Dismissing Elsie Adams and Caleb Sullivan

Cooper Coldson waited for a long time, but he didn’t receive a reply from Yolanda Greenwood.

He knew Yolanda wouldn’t reply. Perhaps after meeting with Adam Sterling, the couple had discussed something, and Yolanda had decided to distance themselves from him and his son.

Holding his phone, his heart was filled with mixed emotions. Were he and his son really being abandoned like this?

"Dad, can I call my sister now?" At this moment, Little Gabriel ran out of the room impatiently, looking eagerly at Cooper Coldson.

Cooper hesitated for a moment before slowly speaking, "Mom is busy, your sister is probably already asleep, so we can’t call her today."

Little Gabriel’s expression changed instantly, looking somewhat angry.

"Be a good boy, Gabriel. Your sister might be going to kindergarten tomorrow, so we’ll be able to see her then," Cooper Coldson tried to soothe the child’s emotions.

"No way!" Little Gabriel unexpectedly threw a tantrum, "It’s the bad uncle, it must be the bad uncle!"

He ran to the coffee table and pushed everything on it to the ground, "It’s the bad uncle who won’t let mom take calls, the bad uncle who won’t let my sister go to kindergarten, the bad uncle wants to take them away. I hate him, I hate him!"

The little guy was sobbing uncontrollably, his small chest heaving violently, seemingly furious to the extreme.

"Be good, Gabriel. Don’t cry, it won’t happen. Mom and sister won’t leave you." Cooper Coldson stepped forward to hug his son. Little Gabriel’s emotions had a big impact on his health, and he was afraid the child would faint from anger.

"I hate the bad uncle. I don’t care, I want my mom, I want my sister." Little Gabriel paid no attention to anything, crying and shouting, not allowing Cooper Coldson to get close.

Cooper had no choice but to stay as close to the child as possible. He took a deep breath and said, "Gabriel, listen to dad. Even if you’re right and Uncle Sterling won’t let mom take calls, that’s his right. Right now..."

He could hardly continue, and after a long pause, he spoke again, "Come upstairs with me, have a good sleep. Tomorrow, I’ll make sure you see your sister. If you keep causing a fuss, I promise you won’t get anything."

Little Gabriel glared at Cooper Coldson with red eyes, finally leaving with a sentence, "I hate dad, hate!"

Then, the little guy ran upstairs.

Cooper Coldson sank helplessly into the sofa, feeling utterly powerless. His son needed his mom, yet as a father, he couldn’t do anything.

He decided to find an opportunity to talk to Yolanda tomorrow. He could let go of the idea of remarrying, but at least let them accept Gabriel.

On the other hand, Daisy Dawson thought about it all night and still couldn’t accept this result. She decided to confront Cooper Coldson in person and question how he could do this. She wanted to tell him face to face that he didn’t deserve to be Coldson Group’s president.

Early the next morning, she went to the kindergarten, knowing that no matter what, Cooper would definitely go to drop Gabriel off at school.

Sure enough, Daisy Dawson waited at the kindergarten gate for half an hour and finally saw Cooper Coldson and Little Gabriel.

She stood up abruptly, staring angrily at Cooper Coldson with all her might.

"You are..." Cooper Coldson found the woman in front of him familiar, as if he’d seen her somewhere before, "I remember now, you’re from the Children’s Wear Group, called... Daisy Dawson?"

Daisy sneered, "How virtuous, for President Coldson to remember my name. It’s a pity I’m no longer with Coldson Group. I’ve resigned."

"Resigned?" A flash of regret crossed Cooper’s face; their last meeting left him with a good impression of this young woman.

He thought for a moment and tentatively asked, "Are you dissatisfied with the company? Otherwise, you wouldn’t have come to find me."

He let Little Gabriel enter the kindergarten and continued with Daisy, "If it’s convenient, let’s talk at the nearby café."

"Do you know what you’ve done can’t be let known to your son?" Daisy crossed her arms, full of disdain, "What? Afraid he’ll think you’re a cold-hearted, unfeeling dad?"

Cooper frowned, "I don’t understand what Miss Dawson means. If you were treated unfairly at Coldson Group, you can tell me now, but I can’t guarantee the outcome will be what you wish."

"Cooper Coldson, stop pretending, does this amuse you?" Daisy Dawson said angrily with a sneer, "Anyway, Ella is Gabriel’s classmate, and it seems you also like Ella very much. How can you stand by and watch your relative bully Little Ella’s family and do nothing?"

"What are you saying?" Cooper Coldson stepped forward anxiously, asking, "Who got bullied? What on earth happened?"

"Stop pretending!" Daisy became doubtful inside but continued to be relentless verbally, "I don’t believe you don’t know anything."

"Speak!" Cooper was extremely worried, "What’s going on?"

Daisy frowned, "Hasn’t that Assistant Adams told you yet?"

"Assistant Adams?" Cooper was stunned for a moment before realizing that the so-called Assistant Adams was Elsie Adams. He shook his head blankly, "She hasn’t said anything, so what’s going on?"

"Really?" Daisy Dawson was suspicious, but looking at Cooper, it didn’t seem like he was lying, so she explained the whole situation.

"Is Ella okay?" Cooper hurriedly took out his phone.

"For now, there’s nothing serious, but she needs to be observed at home for a week," Daisy continued, "I went to your company the day before yesterday, and they told me I couldn’t see you without an appointment. Later, I met Elsie Adams in the lobby; she said she was your assistant, so I told her everything and asked her to pass it on."

Cooper’s face was openly angry. He immediately called Richard Reyes, "Fire Elsie Adams and Caleb Sullivan."

"Huh?" Richard was startled for a moment. He was sitting in the car, not far from Cooper outside.

Cooper continued, "Send someone to the Children’s Wear Group, thoroughly investigate the marketing department’s issue, then have the manager of Children’s Wear Group personally apologize to Yolanda Greenwood and Adam Sterling. I don’t want to repeat this."

"Understood." The call was already disconnected, and Richard could feel Cooper’s anger. It seemed Elsie Adams and Caleb Sullivan must have done something.

He quickly checked briefly, and then he sent dismissal notices to Elsie Adams and Caleb Sullivan.

When Elsie Adams received the notice, she suspected she had read it wrong, personally confirmed it at the HR department, and then called Richard Reyes.

"Are you crazy?" She couldn’t contain her anger, "Richard, come to your senses; both you and I are Cooper Coldson’s assistants. You have no right to fire me."

Richard glanced at Cooper in the back seat through the rearview mirror and lowered his voice, "Miss Adams, you’re right, I indeed have no right to fire you. The person who wants to fire you is President Coldson."

"Impossible!" Elsie shouted in disbelief, "President Coldson agreed in front of his mother to let me join the company as his assistant. He can’t go back on his word."

Richard chuckled lightly, "Our President Coldson means what he says. Miss Adams, maybe you should think about what you’ve done."

He hung up the phone immediately after speaking.
