Chapter 400: Chapter 400: A Family of Four Visits the Amusement Park

In the evening, Cooper Coldson, like usual, was the last to pick up Little Gabriel, and on the way home, he didn’t say a word.

Little Gabriel could sense his father’s mood was very bad, so he cautiously asked, "Dad, why didn’t you come earlier? That way, we could see Mom and sister."

Cooper Coldson gave a bitter smile but didn’t answer his son’s question.

Even if he stayed at the kindergarten all the time, what difference would it make? Yolanda Greenwood no longer knew him, and Ella had a new dad.

Clearly, in their lives, he should simply disappear completely.

"Dad," Little Gabriel asked again, "can we invite Mom and sister to the amusement park this weekend?"

Cooper Coldson looked at his son in surprise, noticing that the son who used to ignore him now seemed like an affectionate little cotton-padded jacket.

"As long as I ask sister, they’ll definitely agree," the little one said confidently.

"Okay." Cooper Coldson understood his son’s intention, knowing logically he should disappear, but he simply couldn’t refuse the chance to be with them.

Going to the amusement park, just take it as fulfilling Little Gabriel’s wish and indulging his own selfishness a bit.

Sure enough, the next day when Yolanda Greenwood came to the kindergarten, Little Gabriel brought it up, "Mom, can you take me and my sister to the amusement park tomorrow?"

"Amusement park?" Little Ella cheered immediately upon hearing it.

Yolanda Greenwood felt a bit troubled, "Do you want me to take both of you?"

If they were ordinary children, taking two wouldn’t be a problem, as both were well-behaved. But they both have insensitivity to pain, and if anything went wrong, she couldn’t handle it alone.

"Can we bring my dad along?" Little Gabriel suggested cautiously, "Don’t worry, Mom, Dad is well-behaved and just helps us carry things."

In the evening, she received a message from Cooper Coldson, [Ella’s mom, I heard from Gabriel that you agreed to go to the amusement park tomorrow? Will it disturb your work?]

Yolanda Greenwood replied formally, [It’s okay. I need a break too, so I’ll just treat it as a holiday.]

Putting down her phone, Cooper Coldson picked up Little Gabriel and spun him around several times, "Our Gabriel is amazing, thank you, Gabriel."

"Hehe..." Little Gabriel laughed happily, he also hoped Mom could spend more time with Dad, maybe she’d remember the past.

Although Mom is very nice to him now, he can sense it’s out of guilt. He wants Mom to love him like she loves Ella, and wants Mom to remember that he and Ella are both her babies.

On the other side, Little Ella was happily packing things for tomorrow, while Yolanda Greenwood was somewhat absent-minded.

Although she agreed to go to the amusement park for the kids’ sake, she always felt it’s wrong, even having a guilty feeling as if she was going to have an affair.

"Lola, will you go with us tomorrow?" She couldn’t help but ask Lola Gold again.

"Big sister, I’m about to get married, and I have a lot of things to do tomorrow," Lola Gold was almost in tears, "I beg you to spare me."

Yolanda Greenwood sighed, "I just feel I shouldn’t go."

Lola Gold asked back, "Then are you rest assured to leave Ella with Cooper Coldson, while you don’t go?"

"Absolutely not." Yolanda Greenwood flatly refused, the last incident of Little Ella getting hurt at the zoo had already terrified her; she doesn’t want to go through that again.

"Then just go at ease." Lola Gold comforted her, "Just like Ella said, if you don’t like him, don’t talk to him, just treat him as transparent. Anyway, he’s not the kind of person who would thick-skin to get close to you."

"Alright then." Yolanda Greenwood sighed deeply, knowing that at this point, she had to go whether she wanted to or not.

The next day, after getting everything ready, Yolanda Greenwood took Little Ella out, and as soon as they left the community, she received a call from Cooper Coldson.

"I see you, stay there with Ella, and I’ll come over with Gabriel to pick you up."

Before Yolanda Greenwood could refuse, he had already hung up.

Soon, Cooper Coldson appeared with Little Gabriel, both dressed in casual outfits, father and son in matching clothes, looking particularly eye-catching.

Coincidentally, Yolanda Greenwood and Little Ella also wore mother and daughter matching outfits, making the four of them look even more like a family.

Cooper Coldson stepped forward to take Yolanda Greenwood’s backpack, "Ella’s Mom, let me carry that for you."

"No need." Yolanda Greenwood refused coldly and then slightly annoyed said, "You didn’t really have to come pick us up. We could have just met at the amusement park entrance."

Cooper Coldson looked a bit embarrassed, smiling as he explained, "It was on the way, so I came."

Just then, Little Gabriel ran next to Yolanda Greenwood and winked mischievously at her, "Auntie, can I sit next to you later?"

"I want to sit next to Mom too." Little Ella immediately wanted attention.

"Alright, alright." Yolanda Greenwood finally smiled again at her daughter and son, "We’ll all sit in the back row together."

Little Gabriel happily said, "Let Dad be our driver."

"Okay." Cooper Coldson hadn’t called Richard Reyes over today; he chose to drive himself, feeling that such intimate family time shouldn’t have outsiders.

Once in the car, Yolanda Greenwood sat in the back with the two little ones, smiling at Cooper Coldson, "Thanks for this."

"Is everyone seated?" Cooper Coldson asked from the front.

"Seated." Both kids replied in unison.

"Then let’s go!" Cooper Coldson glanced at Yolanda Greenwood through the rearview mirror, seeing her deliberately avoiding his gaze, he quickly looked away and focused on driving.

Along the way, the two little ones were extremely happy, especially Little Ella, singing and dancing, like a little child star.

Cooper Coldson thought of something and took the initiative to ask, "By the way, has Daisy Dawson from Coldson Group recently contacted Ella?"

Yolanda Greenwood hadn’t seen that girl, she shook her head, "Probably gave up."

"I met her the other day, she seemed determined to make Ella a star," Cooper Coldson laughed and asked, "Ella, do you want to be a star?"

"What is a star?" Little Ella tilted her head in confusion.

Cooper Coldson explained with a smile, "It’s like on TV, those older brothers and sisters who sing and dance, do you like singing and dancing, Ella?"

"I do!" Little Ella responded affirmatively, eagerly asking Yolanda Greenwood, "Mom, can I be a star?"
