Chapter 390: Chapter 390: Mr. Coldson, Are You Going to Fire Me

Cooper Coldson was afraid the person opposite him would refuse, so he continued to offer conditions.

[Ella’s mom, as long as Ella is willing to stay, I can help you open a branch of Heart Island Design in Gray City, you can specify any scale you need.]

[As for Ella’s dad, I heard he works abroad. Regardless of what his job is, as long as he wants to come to Gray City, I can make arrangements to ensure that you reunite in Gray City without any worries.]

Yolanda Greenwood went to the bathroom, and upon returning, she saw Cooper Coldson’s message, she couldn’t help showing a puzzled expression.

[Mr. Coldson, I have never told anyone that I want Ella to quit school.]

Yolanda thought for a moment and realized where this came from, that Elsie Adams is really out of her mind.

She then sent another message, [I know someone doesn’t want Ella to go to school again, indeed Ella’s injury this time has made me hesitate. Gabriel’s dad, I will consider this matter carefully. As for the other conditions you mentioned, I do not need them, I understand your feelings.]

[You love your son, I have the same feelings for my daughter.]

When Cooper Coldson saw the message, he sobered up halfway; had Elsie deceived him?

He then linked it to what Isabella Ross said; could it be that Elsie really had feelings for him?

Cooper Coldson’s face turned unpleasant; he first replied to Yolanda Greenwood, [Ella’s mom, rest assured, I guarantee that once Ella returns to kindergarten, she will not encounter any accidents or injuries. On behalf of the school, I apologize to you and Ella.]

Yolanda was a bit surprised, it seems this Cooper truly loves his son and doesn’t intend to cover up for Elsie Adams, she’s unsure whether Elsie will be fired.

Actually, if Elsie Adams gets fired, she would certainly feel at ease letting Ella go back.

She thought about it and replied again to Cooper Coldson’s message, [If no more accidents happen, Ella will surely return.]

Neither spoke again, their minds had already reached a consensus.

Yolanda breathed a sigh of relief; she somehow felt that her encounter with Cooper and Gabriel was as if fate was aiding her and her daughter.

She was thrilled to be able to let Little Ella continue going to kindergarten, and immediately sent a message to Ella’s dad, [I have decided, once Ella’s foot heals, I’ll let her go back to kindergarten to continue school.]

The other party replied instantly, [That’s great, I’m sure Ella will be happy too, the little one has been quite anxious these days.]

The two chatted briefly before saying goodnight, each going to their rest.

The next day, Cooper Coldson didn’t send Little Gabriel to kindergarten but let him stay at the old house intending to wait for Ella to return before letting Gabriel go.

"Gabriel, be good and accompany grandma, listen well, eat properly, got it?"

Little Gabriel silently nodded.

Isabella Ross escorted Cooper Coldson to the door and asked, puzzled, "What’s going on? Why aren’t you letting Gabriel go to school?"

"He won’t go these days, let him stay at home." Cooper Coldson answered vaguely.

"Not going is okay; I never supported you creating a kindergarten in the first place. He belongs to the Coldson family; even if he doesn’t attend school, he’ll always be well-fed and clothed." Isabella Ross couldn’t help but grumble, "Back then, you kept saying you were worried about Ella..."

She abruptly stopped, secretly glanced at her son, and chose not to say more.

Isabella Ross understood that if Ella were alive, she’d surely have painless syndrome too, given they came from the same womb. But it’s been three years since, and with no news from Yolanda and Little Ella, she didn’t believe that if Yolanda were alive, she’d not visit her son even once.

Cooper Coldson went to the kindergarten alone and encountered Daisy Dawson, a small employee from Coldson Group, at the entrance.

"President Coldson!" Daisy Dawson greeted, seeing Cooper alone, "Where’s the little young master?"

"He’s at home; he won’t be coming to kindergarten these days." Cooper Coldson then asked, "Are you still waiting for Ella?"

"Yes." Daisy Dawson smiled embarrassedly, "Will she come?"

"She will." Cooper Coldson assuredly stated, and after walking a few steps, he suddenly turned back, saying, "However, I guess her mom won’t want her to be a star; you’re ultimately busy for nothing."

He nodded politely at Daisy and strode into the kindergarten.

Daisy respectfully watched him leave before reluctantly departing. Truth is, she sensed that Ella’s mom wouldn’t agree, but she really wanted to see Little Ella; she had now become a fan of Ella’s mom.

Anyhow, she would definitely come again!

In the kindergarten, Elsie Adams was eagerly waiting until finally seeing Cooper Coldson appear; she was delighted and quickly approached him, "Mr. Coldson..."

Excitedly greeted, she noticed Cooper was alone, "Where’s Gabriel?"

"Gabriel won’t be coming these days." Cooper Coldson’s face was serious, and his tone somewhat somber. "Teacher Adams, let’s talk in your office."

"Ah?" Elsie remembered yesterday’s call from Cooper and had a bad premonition, nodding, "Alright, alright."

The two walked silently to the teacher’s office; others, seeing Cooper, greeted him respectfully before naturally leaving to handle their duties.

They all knew that Elsie was personally invited by Cooper, and even though all were teachers, Teacher Adams held a higher status than them; even the principal, Sadie Connor, had to give Elsie due respect.

Once everyone left, Cooper turned to Elsie, "Teacher Adams, there’s something I thought about and want to inform you."

"Oh, alright, Mr. Coldson, speak while sitting; would you like something to drink?" Elsie was especially nervous.

"Teacher Adams, it was my insistence that brought you here as a kindergarten teacher, but now it seems I was mistaken." Cooper Coldson began, getting straight to the point.

Elsie’s face changed; it wasn’t Cooper’s firm insistence back then, she volunteered, so what did Cooper mean by this now?

She quickly explained anxiously, "Mr. Coldson, being a kindergarten teacher was my personal choice, I will definitely do well, please..."

"No need!" Cooper bluntly cut her off, "Teacher Adams... no, I should address you as Dr. Adams now. I think having you, a child psychology expert, take a kindergarten teaching role is really underutilizing your talents."

"No, really, it’s not." Elsie was anxious to the point her eyes reddened; staying at the kindergarten allowed her to see Cooper twice a day at least, and with good luck, they could exchange a few words more. If she lost this job, her possibility with Cooper... would vanish.

"You also don’t fit the teaching role." Cooper’s attitude was clear, "Teacher Adams, you need to go to accounting to settle your pay, you may leave now."

Elsie’s body staggered uncontrollably, shockingly confirming, "Mr. Coldson, you... you’re dismissing me?"

"Yes." Cooper admitted directly.

"Why?" Elsie was somewhat agitated, "Mr. Coldson, all these days, have I done anything incorrectly towards Gabriel or other kids?"
