Chapter 143: Chapter 143: My Stomach Hurts, Take Me to the Hospital

Jaxon Greenwood, after all, was the Patriarch of the Greenwood Family, and though at home he was often easygoing and wrapped around his daughter’s finger, when he got angry, he was particularly frightening.

He had a bellyful of discontent towards Yolanda Greenwood, and seeing her throw a tantrum outside only fueled his anger even more.

"Do you think it was easy for your mother to raise you till now?" he glared at Yolanda, "If you disown your mother again, don’t bother coming through the Greenwood Family’s door."

"Old Greenwood..." Gemma clenched at her chest, "Why are you getting so angry?"

Melissa rushed over to take Jaxon’s arm, "Dad, please don’t be mad, you’ll ruin your health."

She immediately called over to Yolanda and Eliana, "Auntie, Yolanda, please come inside quickly."

Yolanda felt very upset, especially after Jaxon had scolded her, she comforted herself in silence, thinking that Jaxon behaved like this only because he knew nothing.

Seeing that Gemma’s face didn’t look too good, she quickly went over to support her, "Eldest Aunt, let’s go inside, I’m fine."

Then she turned back to look at Eliana, "Let’s go, let’s go inside."

There was no helping it; Yolanda knew that even if she was reluctant, she had to stay with Eliana today.

After entering the house, Gemma said she wasn’t feeling well and asked Yolanda to help her go up and rest for a while.

Jaxon wanted to stop her, but Gemma shot him a glare.

"Mom likes Yolanda, so let them go," Melissa joked nonchalantly, "I’ll help Auntie with preparing lunch."

Her eyes sent a warning glance towards Yolanda and Gemma, "Don’t get carried away talking and forget about the time, we’re eating soon."

Yolanda and Gemma then went upstairs.

In the kitchen, Melissa and Eliana went in to assist the chef.

When the chef wasn’t looking, Eliana took out a packet of powdered medicine and whispered to Melissa, "This is an abortion pill, I will bring up two glasses of water in a bit."

Melissa nodded but was a bit apprehensive, "Later, put the medicine in all the dishes."

"Okay," Eliana nodded.

After a while, she carried two glasses of water and a fruit plate out.

Seeing Jaxon in the living room, she had a thought.

"Brother Greenwood," Eliana approached, handing the tray to Jaxon, "I poured some water and cut some fruits; you take them up to your sister-in-law and Yolanda, please."

Jaxon was reluctant.

Eliana let out a wry smile, "Yolanda isn’t happy to see me, so I must trouble you to go instead."

"Spoiling her," Jaxon said, but still got up and took the tray upstairs.

Eliana tugged at the corner of her mouth, her preparations today were thorough, and the child in Yolanda’s belly couldn’t escape.

When it was time for lunch, Yolanda and Gemma came downstairs.

Eliana observed Yolanda carefully, seeing no unusual reaction, she guessed that she probably hadn’t drunk the water.

But it didn’t matter, if she didn’t drink water, it wasn’t possible she wouldn’t eat.

As everyone sat down to the meal, Eliana diligently served everyone a bowl of soup, and asked Yolanda, "This is a specialty dish from your granduncle’s cook, you’ve always loved it."

Since she knew Yolanda liked this soup, she had added the most ingredients to it.

Yolanda picked up her soup bowl.

Eliana and Melissa both slowed their breathing, anxiously watching Yolanda’s every move.

Yolanda gently blew on the soup, dipped her spoon in for a bit, and just as she was about to drink it, she suddenly frowned.

"What’s wrong?" Eliana asked immediately.

Yolanda quickly put down her soup bowl and spoon, looking very uncomfortable as she clutched her stomach, "My belly hurts so much."

Eliana Reed suddenly stood up, her movement so forceful that the chair made a loud noise.

She smiled apologetically and immediately walked over to Yolanda Greenwood with concern, "What’s wrong? Why does your stomach hurt all of a sudden?"

She guessed that Yolanda must have drunk some water and immediately exchanged a glance with Melissa Greenwood.

"It hurts so much." Yolanda clutched her abdomen, her discomfort evident.

"What happened?" Jaxon Greenwood’s face darkened, "Should we go to the hospital?"

Eliana nodded in agreement right away, "Yes, we should go to the hospital immediately."

She looked towards Jaxon and Gemma Morgan, "The three of you continue with your meal. I’ll take Yolanda to the hospital, it seems like she has a stomachache from something bad she ate."

Eliana then reached to pull Yolanda, "Come on, I’ll take you to the hospital."

Yolanda pushed her away forcefully, struggling to stand, "It’s fine, I can go on my own."

"What are you being stubborn for at a time like this?" Jaxon was getting anxious as he stood up, "Let’s go, I’ll take you guys."

Eliana instinctively glanced at Melissa.

"Yes, let my dad take you guys," Melissa agreed.

Just then, the doorbell suddenly rang, and the servant who opened the door found that Noah Coldson had arrived.

Melissa’s expression changed, "Big brother? Why are you here?"

"I heard that your mom was discharged from the hospital, and I came on behalf of the Coldson Family to check on you," Noah Coldson stepped inside briskly and, upon seeing Yolanda, quickly approached her, "Yolanda? What’s wrong with you?"

Yolanda clutched onto Noah like a lifeline, grabbing his arm, "Big brother, my stomach is hurting, take... take me to the hospital."

"Alright!" Noah immediately hoisted her up in his arms.

Melissa felt this was inappropriate; she didn’t want Noah involved and promptly nudged Jaxon.

"Dad, after all, Yolanda has already divorced Cooper Coldson, let’s not bother Noah big brother. You take Yolanda to the hospital."

Jaxon hesitated and didn’t move.

Melissa then shot Eliana a glare.

Eliana quickly spoke up, "Yes, big brother, we should trouble you with this matter. Noah has no relation to our Yolanda, and this... how will we marry off Yolanda in the future?"

Jaxon looked at Gemma instinctively but saw that Gemma was only looking at Yolanda with concern.

He thought for a moment, and although reluctant, he felt that Eliana and Melissa were right, a girl’s reputation was very important, and he should not neglect it.

"Alright! I’m going!" Jaxon got up to take Yolanda from Noah.

But Noah wouldn’t let go, "Uncle Greenwood, let me take care of Yolanda. We are friends, you can trust me."

He turned to leave.

Eliana rushed over to block him, "Noah, put her down. Brother Greenwood and I will take her to the hospital. You don’t need to be involved in this."

Noah looked at her coldly.

"I’m her mom, would I harm her?" Eliana started to raise her voice again, "Hurry up and put her down. Our Yolanda has nothing to do with the Coldson Family anymore, put her down!"

"Didn’t Yolanda disown you as her mom a long time ago?" Noah’s presence was commanding, "You see her in such pain, yet you block the door and won’t let her leave, what are you thinking?"

"A woman’s reputation is of utmost importance; by carrying her off like this, how do you expect her to marry in the future?" Eliana looked at Jaxon, "Big brother, you have to help our Yolanda."

Yolanda managed to open her eyes with difficulty, "Eldest Aunt, please let Noah big brother take me, thank you."

Jaxon’s face grew dark, and he immediately lost the will to intervene, "Whatever, it has nothing to do with me!"

Eliana was still blocking the way, but Noah could not wait any longer. He simply moved forward to push past her and, carrying Yolanda, hurried to his car.
