Chapter 38: Freed Sellzen? by Harem-Fan

     The next day on the way to school, I caught up with Issei, and began a conversation with him...

     Fortunately Motohama hasn't joined us yet.

     I said to him...

     "Hey brosiff, how was that date with the church holy hotness? Did you get her number, so you can get her to confess, and well you know break her vows?!"

     Issei looks sullen,as he is annoyed.

     "No dick-breath, and what was up with you yesterday? You went from trying to get her to make an AV movie with you, to her going with God?"

     I lied to Issei a bit...

     "I know I ain't getting up that habit, so I just thought I would see how cute she could be. Plus if she doesn't like me, it only makes you look better, right?"

     Issei just sighs...

     "Nah, Nothing happened, and I don't think a girl like that would fit my perversion. We might be friends at best."

     "Bro! Never give up on love! I personally never thought I could be in the arms of this world's most sought after lovers! I never give up, and you should just be the man you want to be! Just don't hurt anyone in the path of boobs, alright?!"

     I proudly make my proclamation, thinking how fucking lucky I am.

     "Ah, Dude, sorry to bring up Karen!"

     Poor guy still thinks she is dead... I really want to tell him, but he will find out in like 2 months or so.

     "No, I'm good. She is very happy, even though she has to wait a bit to see me again! Also Issei, I heard weird rumors of a serial killer breaking into homes and killing people, and blaming it on cultists or something! Be very careful the next couple of days till the police catch the killers, okay!"

     I warned him, in case he bumps into psycho Freed Sellzen.

     "Ah? Sure, I will keep that in mind, thanks for the heads up."

     Just as we came to the front gates...

     Issei just jumps behind Sona, like a good boy.

     I then signaled Sona and Tsubaki to come to me, and lowered my voice...

     "I'm not for sure, but Issei may have a 50% chance of being ambushed by a Stray Exorcist tonight or tomorrow, so keep an eye out, that's all I can tell you sorry. And Tsubaki, I love you and don't worry about me for the next few days, no matter what you hear... I will be very careful myself! And for all is right in the world, don't tell Rias I gave you a heads up. She will try to stop me if she knows... Promise!"

     Sona says, while pushing up her glasses.

     "Based on your words, you will have the other 50% chance, and if Rias knows, she won't send you correct? You seem to know who you will be fighting?"

     I smile at the smart Devil, and tell her.

     "Sona, that is why I like talking to you! I don't have to deal with irrational logic. Tsubaki, don't worry, safety first. I can't leave a sad girlfriend behind, so I will be fine just for you! Honestly if Issei wasn't in possible danger, I wouldn't even be worried. He is just not ready for that guy!"

     "I will obediently wait for your good news then. You must be careful, and I-I love you too!"

     Tsubaki knows how to send off her man!

     That evening in the ORC room...

     Rias was going over contracts, and realized there was a double booking problem with Koneko, so she asked me to take it.

     My heart skipped a beat thinking this might be it.

     But I said nothing to Rias, and accepted the job.

     Koneko hugged me and said her thanks.

     I just patted her head, and told her to be careful on her run.

     I then wore my battle gear, and prepared for the jump to the contractor.

     Rias stopped me and asked...

     "Why are you wearing that?"

     I just remembered, I normally don't wear it on my jobs, so I white lie.

     "I think it looks good, plus I don't know this client, so it doesn't hurt. What don't you like about me with this look?"

     Rias said distractedly.

     "No, I like it on you, it gives you the badass look... I just had a bad feeling is all."

     I thought to myself seeing her look.

     "Awe too cute!"

     I placate her...

     "When I get back tonight, I will treat you to a homemade late-night snack. Okay, just be a hot President and do paperwork, later!" I activate the circle

     Buzz~! Then I stepped in the summoning circle in the back of the room, and vanished in crimson light...

     When I opened my eyes, I found myself in an entryway of a dark house.

     No movement around me, and my Sacred Gear is rocking on full blast danger warnings!

     Sniff~! Smelling blood, my heart skipped a beat, and thought... Freed Sellzen!

     As I stepped back out of the dead client's house, I removed the front-door joints with earth manipulation, and put it to the side.

     I think Issei won't be here inside... hopefully!

     Let us assume Asia Argento will enter from this front door, so I will set up my ambush point here.

     Plus when Freed's reinforcements show, I can fight better outside here.

     I did take my time showing up, because Issei would have had to come on his bike in the anime, and it's not far from the school.

     In the meantime, I spread some Underworld plant seeds around, and prepared them for surprise attacks.

     I feel someone coming from the front gate, and turn to see... Asia with wide opened eyes!

     Ah, This is when she should have walked in the front door, and seen Issei in trouble.

     I'm messing things up again, I think... Issei has not yet come!

     I smile and say to the girl I met before...

     "Ah, Sister Asia, it is good to see you right away again, haha! I can explain why I'm here. Remember my name is..."

     Thud~! I didn't get to finish my bullshit lie, because Asia full on rushed into my arms, crying?!

     "Are you hurt, um, are you in danger?!"

     I try to figure out what's going on, and keep an eye on the house as well.

     Just in case, I put up a barrier around the both of us.

     "Sniff Sniff~! I-I'm glad you're alive! I thought, I would never see you again! Take me away and save me, like you promised, now that you are here!"

     She is smiling and crying, and her words are confusing.

     I just realized and asked her...

     "Wait, you're from my dream! But you didn't recognize me yesterday? And I'm here for you Asia, you will be safe now!"

     I don't understand what is going on, but I don't have time to ponder, because the killer inside the house is coming...

     I said seriously to her.

     "Asia, listen to me. No matter what, stay inside this barrier until I come for you! Don't come out, even If I'm wounded. Do you understand?"

     Alright, think later and act now!

     Asia nods and tells me...

     "Please be careful, he is cruel and I promise you, I won't leave!"

     She is trying to act brave, but I feel so much fear in her eyes.

     I just gave her a Hero Smile and said.

     "Wait for me! Cough, And don't tell anyone who I was in the past, good girl!"

     Step Step~! I saw Freed Sellzen coming out the wide opened door, and his eyes were in shock.

     He sees his partner in the arms of a Devil in a long coat, and his bat-wings extending outward!

     Then the Devil now has a super unfriendly smile!

     Freed got excited by the thought of a strong Devil challenger!

     So he began his dumbass crazy-talk.

     "Hehehe~! Hello Devil scum! My name is Freed Sell..."

     I interrupt him and say boldly!

     "Shut the fuck up! I don't need to know the name of a rejected test-tube baby like you, that can't even keep a job. You're guilty of killing the innocent and bringing misery to this beautiful world... And for making Asia cry! So shut the ever-living fuck up, and struggle to survive bitch!"

     I think I might be just a tad mad at this guy?

     Meh, Big G told me to do whatever I wanted, and I want him gone!

     Freed shouts.

     "Eat Light Bullets, Devil scum!"

     He points his silver handgun, but I feel no danger from it?

     It must only be Light Bullets and not solid ones.

     I won't let him notice I don't care, and will just bait him!

     Bang Bang Bang~! After dodging a few shots he then laughs, like Joker from Batman, and starts swinging his Light Blade at me.

     I'm not using my combat-bow right now, but infused my hands and feet in Holy Lightning.

     When he got near me, I made the plants erupt around us, trapping us in close melee combat, like a cage!

     Stretch Swish Swhish~! No running for this fucker!

     The plants will twist their poisoned thorns from me, while impeding and harming Freed.

    He growled, seeing the green, red, black, and brown net of plants...

     "Now that's just cheating, Devil bitch!"

     I reply with.

     "You can file a complaint in the... Who the fuck cares Department'!"

     Thud Snap~! At this point I kicked his sword to the side, grabbed his gun with my right-hand, and crushed it!

     Can't take chances he has normal bullets!

     Rip~! Freed backed into the thorns and yelled, as his back was raked across, giving him an Underworld flesh rot poison.

     "I'm no dumb ass! See you later Devil Pawn!"

     Flash~! He uses a flash-bomb, pulled from his jacket button, that doesn't affect me.

     Slash~! Freed then cuts his way out with his Light Sword.

     When he gets out he notices the barrier covering Asia, is also wriggling with poison plants!

     "Well this sucks. Guess I will just tell that slut, Asia ran away with the Devil before I could get her. I'm out!"

     He fled like the rat he was.

     He was smart enough to know when to bail.

     Could I have kept him here, yes!

     But I know reinforcements will come soon, and I need to get Asia out now!

     So I rushed into and removed the defenses, killing off the Underworld fauna, then grabbed Asia's waist and said...

     "Tuck in your head to my chest, don't scream, or bite your tongue! And here we gooooooo~!"

     Whoosh Flap Flap~! I then combined my normal flight with wingless flight, and shot off like a shooting star, protecting Asia in a barrier, so she won't get wind burn.

     She is still only Human!

     Looking back where I just escaped, I saw teleportation circles of different colors, and Priests running there?!

     Ignoring everything, I just flew knowing I got away with Asia safely.

     I landed near the old school-house, retracted my Devil wings, and placed the shivering Sister down.

     "I'm sorry for that, I hope I haven't made you fear me..."

     I just warmly smile and am satisfied about getting her out, without too much bullshit.

     If Freed would have fought to the end, his comrades could've trapped me there, but I knew he was a coward.

     Buzz~! I get a magic-circle from a flustered Rias, and I gesture to Asia to wait a moment.

     As the 6-inch crimson magic circle went to my ear, I then answered.

     "Hello Big Red President, how may I help you?"

     [Where the hell are you? We teleported to your location, and you weren't there!]

     Rias is very loud and upset... Ya my fault.

     "I escaped at that very moment. I sensed enemy magic, so we literally missed each other. I'm about to show up at the clubroom, so please wait for me. Sorry to worry you Pres. I'm totally fine. I ambushed the Exorcist and rescued the Princess!"

     I think Asia is blushing at what I called her, but I won't point that out.

     [Hurry back. I'm mad at you right now!]

     Rias finished the call and I just sigh, she acts mad but is just worried.

     "I wonder how I will be punished for giving her a scare?"

     While putting her index fingers together, Asia asks me.

    "Did I get you in trouble?"

     That's the first thing she thinks of, what she lacks in sex appeal, she makes up for in heart.

      I just shrug it off and say to this pure woman.

     "I told my boss I was a pain in the ass from day one, a little light punishment to save you... Worth it!"

     "I'm so glad you survived that Crucible Vision by God! I was sad to see you like that! But I knew I just saw you the day before, so I just waited for you. I knew if it wasn't real, my fate would be sealed. But God sent you to me in my time of need!"

     She stood closer to me, and told me.

     "Last night in the church I was praying to God, then I was inside that strange castle with all those other girls. For a moment, I was afraid of Issei when the dream ended, but I know you said he wasn't your friend, but a Trial by God!"

     Trial by God?! I never looked at it from that point...

     I say to Asia.

     "Asia, you have 2 paths before you. The 1st is to stay Human, and I will find you a place to hide from the world, and we may meet one day in the future. Or choice 2, you can join me as a Devil under my King, and stay at my side for 10,000 or more years."

     I know I am being a selfish guy here, but this is Dream Asia...

     "Take my word for it, being a Devil has some good points, but I believe in freedom of choice. So before we make it to my King, think over your decision, and I will protect you the best I can, alright?"

     I hold out my hand to her, she takes it, then follows me in...
