Chapter 210: Chapter 209 - The Group Meeting the Yandere Goddess.
A while later.
"Alright. Are you guys ready?" Raven asked as he stared at his group standing before him.
He had already explained all he could to them, so they all nodded. Though some of them, especially Graye and Alex, the dumb ones, didn’t seem to understand what they were walking into.
Then Raven opened his chat with Arietta.

Grandpa_Hot_Pot:
...Raven, I am agreeing to this, but that doesn’t mean I like it.

Raven stared at the link for a second before he took a deep breath, glancing at Selena, Clara, and Siris.
"No use, bro," Omni’s voice echoed in his head. "They’re all crazy for you. Ain’t no way they stayin’ down just ’cause you said that a goddess was crazing over you now."
Raven had explained everything to them and also told them about Arietta’s situation and requested that they show moderation before the goddess.
But as Omni said, from the look in their eyes, they didn’t seem to understand what they were walking into.
With a final sigh, Rave clicked on the link.
The moment Raven and his group arrived in Arietta’s domain, their surroundings shifted like reality had gotten a luxury upgrade.
The air shimmered, golden and laced with soft ambient echoes—like someone left a harp on reverb in heaven.
Each breath tasted like sparkles.
The crystal trees glowed softly in hues of starlight, the flowers bloomed in eternal slow motion, and somewhere off to the left, a harp was playing itself like it had a vendetta against silence.
The divine realm was beautiful.
Stupidly, overwhelmingly, suspiciously beautiful.
Even Raven was surprised, as the last time he came here, it was merely a simple room.
’She said that she didn’t like it, but she still did some extra work...’ Raven muttered inwardly, shaking his head helplessly.
"Bruh," Omni deadpanned in his head. "She’s a goddess. She gotta flex on your mortal girls, show ’em she ain’t just some regular chick. She had to show off."
The first to visibly react, however, was Graye.
"WHOA!" She shouted, throwing her arms up with clunky enthusiasm, her full metal armor clanging with each movement. "This place looks like a fairy tale that got drunk on glitter! Can I suplex that tree?!"
The tree, a towering structure of glimmering crystal petals, literally bent away from her.
Lia, already massaging her temples, muttered, "Please don’t. It’s divine. You might explode."
Alex gasped dramatically. "Guys! I think I just developed religion!"
Nibbles held up a sign: I HATE THIS. TOO CLEAN.
Omni, coiled like a tribal tattoo on Raven’s arm, pulsed with mild dread in response to their words.
"Yeahhh, this place feels like the kind of heaven that comes with fine print and a knife behind the welcome basket."
Raven took a step forward, his group following.
His eyes scanned the divine terrain with practiced calm, but inside, he was preparing for emotional damage.
Arietta was near.
He was sure she was.
If he had to guess, she was more than likely observing what and how his group was.
His group probably didn’t leave a good fresh impression on her. They never had.
His gaze then moved toward the others.
Behind him, Clara and Selena looked calm—too calm.
Clara adjusted her gloves, walking beside Raven like nothing could rattle her. But her fingers were vibrating slightly.
Selena, eyes serene, stared up at the crystal canopy. "...This is lovely. So peaceful. Almost makes you forget there’s a literal stalker goddess somewhere nearby."
Her shadow behind her yawned, licking its lips.
Siris, on Raven’s left, tilted her head. "So this is her home?"
She blinked innocently. "Is it okay if I leave a knife under her pillow? As a gift."
Omni groaned. "Please stop talking like that’s normal, girl. That’s not how peace offerings work unless you’re a mafia assassin or a raccoon with a vengeance."
Jessy, arms crossed, was unimpressed.
"This place is... ugh. Too bright. Too clean. I feel like if I sneeze, I’ll shatter a rainbow and get billed for it."
Jake, ever silent, merely slid into a shadowy alcove and vanished, probably in case things escalated.
Rufus, who was wearing his nanoparticle suit and fearing a war between Raven’s harem, spoke up. "You guys do know that this place belongs to a goddess, right? Why are you all acting so lax?"
Raven turned, surprised.
He didn’t expect that Rufus would be the one who would act like a normal person should.
’...I guess I’ve been seeing him in the wrong light—’
His thoughts paused because Rufus spoke again. "Shouldn’t we all be, like, crawling on the ground or walking upside down to show respect?"
Raven deadpanned, slapping his head. "Yeah... What was I even expecting?"
Raven knew that it was partially his fault, as he had told them not to act scared of Ariella because she hated it.
Above all, he had told them that she was harmless until they got on her nerves, which wouldn’t happen if they didn’t speak to her.
Just then, the air thickened, as if the space itself was holding its breath.
Then, from the golden light ahead, Arietta appeared.
She looked radiant, again surprising Raven, as she always had a gloomy aura around her.
"...Well, damn." Even Omni was shocked.
But despite being radiant, she still seemed mildly homicidal.
Wearing a flowing white gown embroidered with stardust and heartbreak, she stepped forward, her eyes locked onto Raven like a heat-seeking missile wrapped in obsession.
"Raven," she purred, smiling with enough intensity to melt bones. "You came."
Raven held up a casual hand, smiling like a man negotiating with a magical nuke. "Arietta. Thanks for welcoming us."
Her smile twitched as she looked behind him and saw the girls.
First Clara. Then Selena. Then Siris.
She didn’t speak.
She glared in radiant silence.
Omni whispered in Raven’s head, "She’s doin’ the math, bro. And she don’t like the answer."
Arietta finally tilted her head. "Oh my, what an... extensive group you brought."
She was probably trying to show Raven that she wasn’t bothered by the girls’ presence, but she was failing miserably, as her fists were clenched.
It was as if she were using all of her willpower to stop herself.
Clara, without changing her expression, stepped forward with a perfectly neutral smile. "We’re grateful for your hospitality. And Raven told us so much about you."
"Only the flattering parts," Selena added with a smile so sweet it probably had knife edges. "The rest, we’ll learn on our own."
Siris smiled brightly. "You really like Raven, huh? I respect that. Most rivals don’t introduce themselves with their full divine domain. Bold move."
Arietta’s smile cracked for a fraction of a second.
Graye, still unaware, ran up. "Hey! Are you the goddess?" She pointed to a flower. "Did you make that? Can I eat it?"
Arietta’s smile froze as she turned toward Graye.
But before the goddess could reply, Lia yanked her back. "We’re guests, not gremlins!"
Alex whispered to Blargh inside him, "Quick, tell me if she’s going to smite us."
Blargh responded with a single terrified squeak and retreated into his chest like a cowardly ooze.
Nibbles held up another sign: WE ARE GOING TO DIE.
Arietta’s eye twitched again. "Raven. Can I speak to you alone for a moment?"
Siris raised a hand. "Should we follow and act as bodyguards? I promise only to cut her if she blinks weird."
"No," Raven said firmly.
Clara and Selena both placed a hand on Siris’ shoulders, gently anchoring her.
Raven sighed, rubbing his temples. "Everyone, relax. We’re here to train. Time flows differently in here. We need to use this place well."
Graye saluted. "Yes, sir! I’ll try not to punch anything unless it punches me first!"
Jessy rolled her eyes. "That’s a step forward for her."
Arietta finally waved a hand and conjured soft domes of glowing light that reshaped the space into twelve training zones, each tailored to their affinities.
The group started to spread out, though not without glancing back at the increasingly volatile goddess.
Omni, in a deadpan tone: "This divine bootcamp’s either gonna turn us into legends... or a cautionary tale with no survivors."
Raven took one last breath, then stepped toward Arietta.
She smiled widely, like a moon about to eclipse.
"Come, Raven. Let’s talk. Just the two of us."
In the background, Graye shouted, "IF I DIE, I WANT TO BE REINCARNATED AS A PUNCH!"
Nibbles held up another sign: SHE GONNA BOIL HIM ALIVE. CALLING IT.
