Chapter 1437 - 1441: Dragon in Reflection
Chapter 1437: Chapter 1441: Dragon in Reflection
It was as if a tear had opened in the starry sky, radiating a mysterious and peaceful scarlet within.
Zhu Minglang and Nan Lingsha flew into this Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons and saw the myriad of colorful dragons within the sky domain, much like a dense school of fish in the ocean, creating a spectacularly awe-inspiring migration pattern. Such a vast sky, yet it still gave off a feeling of bustling splendor!
The Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons was filled with floating forests and cliffs, and there were also beehive-like Sky Rock Stars. These Sky Rock Stars floated like miniature constellations within the valley, and every small hollow was a nest for a mighty member of the Dragon Clan. Some nests even housed entire dragon families!
It was Zhu Minglang’s first time seeing so many dragons, with such a diversity that it was overwhelming, and he couldn’t even name more than half of them.
For some reason, when Zhu Minglang saw this scene, a huge net appeared in his mind, like a fisherman scooping up fish from the sea, collecting them all into the net. Watching the plump fish flopping on the net, it was easy to feel a rich sense of satisfaction!
Of course, in this Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons, if anyone dared to do such a thing, a single Dragon Breath from each dragon could easily incinerate even a Solar Corona Level existence into ashes!
"You can even capture such scenery in your painting, Miss Lingsha, your artistry truly earns my admiration!" Zhu Minglang couldn’t help but commend.
Despite being within the painting, the grandeur of the Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons still left Zhu Minglang deeply moved, as realistic as it was, even down to the very inconspicuous dragon in a corner, its eyes vigilant and claws on guard. Such a densely populated dragon valley, every part was exceedingly realistic, and every dragon was full of life...
"We need to pass through these Bee Dragon Nests." Nan Lingsha said.
Zhu Minglang nodded and continued flying deeper into the Dragon Abyss with Nan Lingsha.
"Ehh ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Suddenly, a group of Feathered Dragons screeched at Zhu Minglang and Nan Lingsha.
Their sound was piercing, like jagged lightning, and when they screeched together, it felt like the head would explode.
"Do the dragons in your painting also attack people?" Zhu Minglang asked.
Without waiting for Nan Lingsha to respond, the large group of Feathered Dragons immediately assembled, circling around the two and beginning to drive them away.
Zhu Minglang was exasperated!
Is this really a painting? The dragons in it actually harbor hostility against them!
"Summon your dragon, without the suppression of Dragon Breath, they won’t back down!" Nan Lingsha instructed.
Zhu Minglang didn’t hesitate any longer and summoned the Nine Kun Dragons.
As a Dragon of the Moon God, the Nine Kun Dragons also held significant deterrence within this Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons.
Indeed, once Little Jiuwei appeared, these Feathered Dragons scattered, no longer daring to trouble Zhu Minglang and Nan Lingsha.
The two passed through the dragon-congregated Sky Domain and soon saw some isolated Abyss Mountains and Abyss Cliffs. Compared to the dense Bee Dragon Star Nests, these seemed more like isolated estates, and one could easily guess that Dragon Nobility resided within!
While passing through these Abyss Mountains and Abyss Cliffs, Zhu Minglang felt many eyes filled with hostility, staring intently at the passing Nine Kun Dragons, as if one wrong step and they would transform into ferocious beasts and pounce.
"It’s best to avoid this area." Nan Lingsha advised.
Zhu Minglang looked over and saw a red, burning Abyss Mountain with scorching lava flowing down, forming a tremendously magnificent river of fire blazing in this Sky Domain.
And within Fire Abyss Mountain, a Yan Tai Dragon lay lazily with closed eyes. It appeared leisurely relaxed, yet more like a king surveying its domain, ready to unleash boundless fury the moment it found something displeasing, with inconceivable consequences.
When Nan Lingsha observed it, she certainly encountered some trouble with this Yan Tai Dragon.
Avoid it, avoid it, I’m here to find family, not to cause trouble!
"Roar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Suddenly, a roar from the ancient abyss echoed from the higher part of the Sky Domain Valley, instantly causing the dense dragon congregation in the Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons to scatter like frightened fish and shrimp, hastily retreating to their nests!
On Fire Abyss Mountain, the fierce Yan Tai Dragon even subdued its aura and quietly closed its eyes, resembling a creature settling into hibernation!
Zhu Minglang was also distressed by this Dragon’s Roar, looking in shock at the deep red Sky Valley, unsure of where it led or what life resided at its end!
"Could it be the ruler of the Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons?" Zhu Minglang asked.
"I never saw it, I only replicated the other dragons’ reactions based on the circumstances at the time, and for some reason, it emerged within the painting," Nan Lingsha said.
"You didn’t draw it, yet it exists in your painting??" Zhu Minglang exclaimed.
"Look at the reactions of the surrounding dragon clans," Nan Lingsha pointed out.
The dragons transformed into startled sparrows, as if a true eagle hovered above, unworthy to fly in the same sky.
Without seeing it, from the dragons’ fear and panic, one could sense the terror of that Sky Domain Dragon!
"I’ve heard a saying that the highest realm for an artist is ’No Moon Over Winning Moon,’" Zhu Minglang remarked.
"Yes," Nan Lingsha nodded.
The so-called "No Moon Over Winning Moon" is actually a form of artistic conception.
In a painting there is a boat, floating on the shimmering lake, frost on the leaves though it’s not winter, people in the night, with eyes exceptionally clear and bright...
The painting is titled Moon, yet throughout, there is no moon.
However, every person who has seen the painting can feel a bright moon above, sensing it just by looking up!
And this moon, more enticing and impactful than one depicted or seen in reality!
Nan Lingsha never saw the dragon that roared.
Yet its roar was vividly heard in the painting because she depicted the other dragons’ reactions.
And the lifelike dragons’ reactions formed an aura over the years, projecting a true "ruler" within the painting world, alive and in the depths of the Dragon Abyss, making anyone entering the painting feel its presence!
Although Nan Lingsha is the artist.
This painting has already become its own small world, with things even she cannot control!
"It has the power to kill us; we must not disturb it," Nan Lingsha whispered.
"I understand," Zhu Minglang earnestly nodded.
In this painted world, that being is like a god, feeding on all dragons’ fear and enjoying their spiritual tribute, a god born within the realm of art!
At this moment, Zhu Minglang understood why Nan Lingsha had sealed the painting with Sealing Mud.
Given some years, the dragons inside might fly out of the painting!
