Chapter 1348: Chapter 1352: Bullying My Junior Sister?

Before departing, the Weaver Star Fairy handed Zhu Minglang an interesting magical artifact called the Yunling Flute.

By playing a specific melody on it, celestial spirits would gather from all directions in the skies. Its principle was similar to the Fog Sea Immortal Bridge of the Southern Heavenly Palace, greatly saving travel time.

Tianheng Valley was quite distant. Without the Yunling Flute, even riding Little Glutton to soar through the clouds and mist would have taken Zhu Minglang a good month to reach.

With the Yunling Flute, however, Zhu Minglang took only seven days to traverse Kang Constellation and arrive at the eastern border of Jun Tian.

It was here that Zhu Minglang learned that Tianheng Valley was not fixed in one location.

This unique spatial rift shifted locations and could simultaneously appear in several places—all of which might be spread across several sky fields.

In essence, it was an extraordinary transit rift, persisting anywhere from a few months to a few years before vanishing without warning.

The current Tianheng Valley had already been present in Qingcheng, an eastern border city of Jun Tian, for roughly a year. Based on this timeline, Ji Yuanye and his group likely traveled from Hao Tian Field to Jun Tian via this rift six months ago.

Originally, Qingcheng was an unremarkable border town of the Tang Gods Continent—neither particularly wealthy nor particularly poor. However, with the sudden emergence of Tianheng Valley, the town catapulted into prominence, becoming even more glamorous and bustling than the divine capital.

Virtually all cultivators treated Qingcheng as a transit hub, making repeated trips into Tianheng Valley to bring back rare spiritual resources unique to other realms, striking it rich.

Because Tianheng Valley acted as an interrealm corridor linking several sky fields, it naturally developed into a center for commerce. Even if Tianheng Valley was initially an empty mountain valley upon its appearance, it would soon turn into an opulent and flourishing location thanks to countless loose cultivators, loose immortals, and major sects.

Zhu Minglang found Gong Yuexia in Qingcheng.

Gong Yuexia was injured; a wound marked her right arm, likely caused by a sneak attack during her hurried escape.

"Who dares to attack you so audaciously?" Zhu Minglang asked angrily.

At the very least, she was his junior apprentice. Gong Yuexia’s valiant demeanor even resembled Li Yunzi’s somewhat. Zhu Minglang would never tolerate seeing his junior apprentice bullied!

"Some cowardly scoundrels hiding in shadows—not worth mentioning. By the way, why did Master only send you here alone?" Gong Yuexia asked.

"Junior apprentice, your words seem to reflect a slight lack of trust in your senior brother." Zhu Minglang replied.

Gong Yuexia’s calm and composed gaze responded to Zhu Minglang, silently affirming his words.

Zhu Minglang felt a tinge of embarrassment but patted his chest confidently, asserting senior brotherly authority, "Don’t worry! I’ll definitely settle this matter for you. Just tell me who dared to harm you."

"We need to retrieve some items first," Gong Yuexia said.

"What items?"

"The Eight Wilderness Ancient Sword Spirit," Gong Yuexia replied.

Zhu Minglang paused, reflecting some surprise, and asked, "Is it for Master?"

"Yes. Master bought the Eight Wilderness Ancient Sword Spirit from some remarkable individuals, but the delivery courier was detained in Tianheng Valley. I was originally sent to collect the sword, but suddenly, a group of attackers captured the courier and injured me... I revealed my identity and mentioned Master, but they completely disregarded it," Gong Yuexia explained.

"Are they from another sky field?" Zhu Minglang inquired.

"Most likely. They probably have grievances with either Master or the Southern Heavenly Palace," Gong Yuexia nodded.

"Let’s go. Let’s pay them a visit," Zhu Minglang declared.

...

Tianheng Valley was not on the ground but in the skies above.

In the heavens emerged a crimson rift, as if the primordial Heavenly Demon had torn the firmament asunder. To those gazing skyward from the earth, it was a profoundly awe-inspiring spectacle.

Only those with sufficient cultivation base could fly into Tianheng Valley.

Thus, it barred entry to ordinary cultivators and mortals.

When Zhu Minglang and Gong Yuexia flew into Tianheng Valley again, the surrounding skies were densely packed with people and dragons. Some loose immortals who couldn’t secure a stall within the valley directly set up celestial booths in the clouds outside, eagerly hawking their goods.

Ultimately, even the realm of immortals and gods couldn’t escape the mundane and human complexities of life.

Upon entering Tianheng Valley, an intense spatial wave sensation greeted them, only to quickly subside.

"Is this thing an upgraded version of the Dark Vortex?" Zhu Minglang mused aloud.

It seemed somewhat similar—this sensation of diving into it mimicked plunging into a Dark Vortex, akin to the underworld’s crossroads, which served as a marketplace for ghostly entities with everything up for sale.

The underworld crossroads catered to ghosts, whereas Tianheng Valley appeared to be an immortal god’s fair.

Indeed, the scene inside was bustling. In a cloud-reflecting rock valley that meandered and twisted, a miniature version of the mortal world unfolded like an intricate overhead map. The farther they flew, the closer they approached the immortal’s bustling liveliness. Upon reaching a certain height, gravity abruptly inverted, turning flight into a plunging descent. This reversal transformed the reflected Tianheng Valley into what could be termed as a "ground valley."

Initially, Zhu Minglang felt somewhat disoriented and dizzy.

But as a divine being with an exceptionally high divine form, Zhu Minglang quickly adapted after vomiting only two or three times nearby.

Gong Yuexia’s phoenix-like eyes revealed a hint of disdain but graciously offered Zhu Minglang a sip of spirit spring water, helping him adjust.

"I’m fine, I’m fine. Let’s go see those bullies!" Zhu Minglang declared.

...

They found the One Valley Pavilion, which had clearly been recently constructed. Through mortise-and-tenon spells, casting masters could erect elegant high pavilions within about ten days, so the pavilion’s opulent grandeur wasn’t surprising. Deeper within the valley, there was a palace resembling the Dragon King’s Crystal Palace against a cloud-rock backdrop, likely the residence of Tianheng Valley’s ruler.

Having a commerce pavilion within Tianheng Valley certainly signified some influential connections.

Zhu Minglang discovered that this commerce pavilion specialized in trading divine weapons. The displayed great swords alone emanated an intimidating aura.

"Divine Weapon Pavilion?"

Zhu Minglang pondered the three characters, lost in thought.

Could it be akin to his own Zhu Gate, a casting master sect??

Across the vast sky and the Forty-nine God Provinces, such divine sects were undoubtedly present.

"I’d like to speak to the person in charge here," Zhu Minglang said directly upon entering.

"I’m the steward here. What can I do for you, young man?" A woman clad in jade attire walked over, smiling warmly.
