Yang Qingwu also intervened, saying, "Uncle Wang, if you kill him, the Wang family’s lineage will end. Let’s wait and see what Lord Feng decides."

"Qingwu, please, I beg you to put in a good word! Plead for mercy on my behalf! I realize my errors, and I’ll change for the better from now on!" Wang Feng pleaded desperately with Yang Qingwu.

"I can’t help you." Yang Qingwu shook her head coldly.

She dared not act independently for fear of angering Feng Wuchen.
