Chapter 1210: Chapter 1210 Shocking Tianying Pavilion

"Daddy, why are you crying?"

Ling’er’s innocent face and soft, childish voice were so moving that it brought tears to one’s eyes.

"Daddy’s not crying, not crying." Tianming quickly wiped his tears, his face beaming with joy as he gazed at his precious daughter, who had finally spoken again.

The familiar voice, the familiar "Daddy"—Tianming had waited for decades, not daring to believe he’d ever hear his daughter call him "Daddy" again.

Ling’er was only four years old, a small girl who had just begun to understand the world, when years ago, she was killed by Wuqing.

For decades, Tianming lived consumed by hatred. Whenever he thought of the scene where Ling’er was murdered, he felt an immeasurable pain, but the belief in resurrecting Ling’er kept him enduring through it all.

Today, that one word "Daddy" wiped away all of Tianming’s suffering over the decades in an instant.

You could say his pain had finally given way to joy.

Looking at Ling’er’s innocent smile, even Ying Hun and Qing Liu couldn’t help but break into warm smiles, genuinely happy for Tianming.

"Rumeng, do you see this? Ling’er is alive again! Ling’er is alive again! You can rest in peace now. I’ll take good care of Ling’er until she grows up." Tianming wept tears of joy, which once again slid down his cheeks.

But he quickly wiped his tears clean; he didn’t want his daughter to see him looking sad.

"Daddy!" Ling’er happily ran toward Tianming, wanting him to hold her.

But Ling’er’s Soul Body passed right through Tianming’s torso and fell directly to the ground.

"Ling’er!" Tianming cried out in alarm, his voice full of heartache.

Ling’er was still a Soul Body—visible yet untouchable.

After unexpectedly missing Tianming’s embrace, Ling’er couldn’t hold back her sobs.

"Don’t cry, Ling’er. Daddy’s here," Tianming hurriedly stepped forward, instinctively reaching out to hold Ling’er. But at the moment when he couldn’t touch her, Tianming finally realized the truth.

"Brother Tianming, try again now," Feng Wuchen said, swallowing a Corrupt Bone Spirit Crystal and using his restored Soul Power to solidify Ling’er’s Soul Body.

"Thank you! Thank you!" Tianming, filled with gratitude, looked at Feng Wuchen and immediately picked up the crying Ling’er.

"Don’t cry, Ling’er. Daddy’s here. Let Daddy hold you properly." Tianming comforted her, carefully holding Ling’er in his arms.

"Daddy, when will Mommy come back?" Ling’er asked, blinking her big, sparkling eyes.

Ling’er’s memory had frozen decades ago, with images of her mother still vivid in her mind.

"Your mommy went to buy something tasty for Ling’er and hasn’t come back yet." Tianming’s heart throbbed painfully, but he forced himself to smile as he spoke.

"Ling’er, come here, hop down. Grandpa will take you out to play," Ying Hun said, smiling kindly.

"Ling’er, this is Grandpa Ying Hun. Call him Grandpa," Tianming urged with a smile, pointing to Ying Hun.

"Grandpa Ying Hun," Ling’er called out.

"This is Uncle Qing Liu. Call him Uncle," Tianming added, pointing to Qing Liu.

"Uncle Qing Liu," Ling’er said adorably, her sweet voice captivating even though her words weren’t pronounced perfectly.

"This here is Uncle Wind Shadow," Tianming continued, gesturing toward Feng Wuchen.

"Uncle Wind Shadow."

"Ling’er, go play with Grandpa for a while so Daddy can rest properly," Ying Hun said, taking Ling’er’s little hand and leading her out of the palace.

Ling’er wasn’t shy around strangers; she was bold and cheerful instead.

"Wind Shadow, thank you! Thank you! Your kindness is unforgettable," Tianming said, bowing deeply toward Feng Wuchen, just shy of kneeling before him.

"Brother Tianming, you’re being too formal. You’ve saved my life before; this is what I ought to do," Feng Wuchen replied weakly, gradually regaining his strength after taking the Healing Pills and Corrupt Bone Spirit Crystal.

"To solidify Ling’er’s Soul Body, you were willing to risk your life. This debt of gratitude is one I can never repay. If you ever need my help, even if it means climbing a mountain of blades or walking through a sea of flames, I, Tianming, will never refuse!" Tianming said firmly, cupping his hands in respect and bowing deeply.

"Really?" Feng Wuchen asked, gazing at Tianming.

"Truly!" Tianming nodded emphatically.

"Alright then. Brother Tianming, go to the merchants’ hall now and gather some medicinal ingredients. Tomorrow, I’ll reshape Ling’er’s physical body," Feng Wuchen instructed, writing down the required materials and handing the list to Tianming.

"Tomorrow?" Tianming was startled and quickly replied, "But that’s too soon. You need to rest properly. Ling’er’s Soul Body has already been restored—it’s fine to wait another few days."

"I’ll recover fully by tomorrow. Don’t worry. Gather the ingredients quickly, and I’ll rest for now," Feng Wuchen said, smiling lightly.

"Alright! Qing Liu, make sure Wind Shadow gets a good rest," Tianming ordered before leaving the palace.

"Understood, Master Tianming," Qing Liu responded respectfully.

"To solidify such a weak soul, even a Celestial Immortal Grade Alchemist wouldn’t be capable. Yet, you managed it—it’s truly astonishing. I’m impressed," Qing Liu said as he helped Feng Wuchen up, praising him along the way.

"Just lucky," Feng Wuchen replied with a grin.

Qing Liu shook his head. "Luck is sometimes a kind of strength. Besides, what you did was pure skill."

Feng Wuchen smiled faintly and said nothing more.

Feng Wuchen’s injuries were not severe; he had only overexerted his Soul Power.

Just one day’s cultivation in the Seventh Layer of the Nine Layers Qiankun Tower would be enough for him to fully recover.

"Ling’er is alive again! Ling’er is alive again!"

Leaving the palace, Tianming shouted joyfully throughout Tianying Pavilion.

"What? Ling’er is alive again?"

"What’s going on with Master Tianming? Ling’er alive again? He’s not losing his mind, right?"

"Did I hear that correctly? Ling’er’s been frozen for decades—how could she possibly come back to life?"

"Has Master Tianming gone mad longing for his daughter? Could something have happened?"

The assassins of Tianying Pavilion were puzzled and astonished. Elite assassins appeared in succession, gathering around to figure out what was happening.

"Master Tianming, what’s going on?" He Tu asked in shock, as if he genuinely believed Tianming had lost his mind.

"Ling’er is alive again! Her Soul Body has been solidified, and she even called me ’Daddy!’" Tianming answered excitedly.

"Master Tianming, this..."

As Tianming spilled out his excitement, Zhuilang was about to respond when his expression suddenly stiffened, his body freezing in place.

"Daddy, where are you going?"

At this moment, Ying Hun approached with a little girl, who joyfully skipped toward Tianming, calling him "Daddy."

"Ling’er, stay here with Grandpa Ying Hun while Daddy goes out to buy something delicious for you," Tianming said happily.

"This...this is...Ling...Soul Body! A solidified Soul Body!"

"Daddy? Am I seeing things? Ling’er has really come back to life! It’s truly Ling’er! How is this possible?"

"How could Ling’er’s Soul Body reform? What in the world happened? Is this an illusion?"

The assassins of Tianying Pavilion were utterly shocked when they saw Ling’er’s solidified Soul Body, staring in disbelief at the cheerful young girl.

No one dared to believe that Ling’er, who had been frozen for decades with only a faint Soul remnant, could truly reform her Soul Body and come back to life.

"That’s it! It must have been Wind Shadow! It must have been him! He’s a Divine Grade Artifact Refiner with Celestial Immortal Grade Soul Power! Only he could achieve such a miracle and solidify Ling’er’s Soul Body!"

"Exactly! It had to be Wind Shadow—there’s no doubt about it!"
