In the great hall, Ying Hun personally welcomed him, and he was the only one present.

"Please take a seat, Esteemed Ancient," Ying Hun said with a faint smile, and with a wave of his hand, a cup of tea flew over.

The teacup stopped half a meter away from Gu Xingfeng, who then received it with one hand and politely said, "Thank you, Pavilion Master Ying Hun. It has been many years since I last enjoyed tea made by you—truly, it brings back memories."

The conversation between the two appeared as if between old friends who hadn’t seen each other in a long while, without a hint of animosity.

But this was merely superficial politeness.

"I have already received news about this matter from Bright Moon. May I know how the Esteemed Ancient would like to proceed with the trade?" Ying Hun continued, already informed of the events that had unfolded.

After Bright Moon was injured, the news had been relayed back to Tianying Pavilion.

Ying Hun’s words caused Gu Xingfeng’s eyebrows to knit slightly, but they quickly relaxed as he thought inwardly, "News from Bright Moon? Have they not captured Wind Shadow yet?"

"Any method of trade would be fine; I trust Pavilion Master Ying Hun," Gu Xingfeng said with a continued light smile.

Ying Hun nodded slightly and said with that gentle smile, "If that is the case, then I would trouble the Esteemed Ancient not to harm the lives of Wind Shadow, Tianming, and Chasing Moon. Naturally, I will arrange for the Crystal Stones to be delivered to the Spirit Emperor Temple."

Hearing this, Gu Xingfeng’s brows furrowed once again, thinking inwardly, "Wind Shadow rescued Bright Moon; they must be together. Could it be that Wind Shadow has been captured? "No need to send me off," Ying Hun replied with a light smile.

With Ying Hun’s strength, he never put Gu Xingfeng in his eyes to begin with.

Not long after Gu Xingfeng departed, an assassin of the Tian Kui level appeared following him.

"Pavilion Master, the person’s eyes conceal a profound scheming, extremely icy, seemingly reckless and arrogant, but it appears to be covering something. This person cannot be kept, the bounty mission also has his name," said the Tian Kui Assassin.

"Tracing the scent, is it? I see," Feng Wuchen nodded in realization.

"Brother Feng, the Sect Master said you were injured. Are you alright now?" Tianlan asked with concern.

"I’ve already recovered," Feng Wuchen replied with a light smile. Looking at the innocent and kind Tianlan, he asked, "You know my identity, aren’t you afraid?"

"Master?" Feng Wuchen looked at Tianlan in surprise.
