Drahon grinned as the message flashed across his retina briskly.

It was shown just a split second but he had magically absorbed all the knowledge.

He stared at the monsters in front of him, sort of unfazed.

Do not engage without backup unless you’re S-Rank or suicidal?

The fuck was the system showing.

Perhaps it was trying to joke with him. He was Ranked ’SSS’!

If he could have defeated a large Cerberus dragon monster as he had done, then this should be pretty easy for him.

His Scaled Guard skill would come in really handy as the monsters facing him were very brutal and menacing. They seemed like the types that would resort to cheating in a fight.

By cheating that meant they would rely on sneak attacks. For example, if he was facing three of the monsters by his front, the rest might use their large claws and chop his head off.

That was when his Scaled Guard skill would come in handy. He would be unaffected and then position his focus towards them, perhaps chopping their heads off.

But it sort of depended on their hit damage. Drahon decided not to be too bothered about that. They were ranked Tier B and he at SSS.

So this should be like the Cerberus monster.

He gripped his sword tight as he took light steps backwards. His aim was to make them pounce at him thinking he wanted to run away when in reality this was just a bait.

If they pounced at him, he would use his Draconic skill and storm to the skies.

He took another light step backwards and just as expected, the dragon monsters (all of them) came at him.

Drahon squinted his eyes as he muttered;

"Draconic leap!"

A gust of wind plunged and just as it was doing so, going over the monsters, Drahon aimed his sword at the head of a dragon monster who didn’t even expect what was happening.

[Critical Hit!]

[+10 EXP gained]

Drahon kept a frown as he landed, not even bothering to look back.

He wanted to aura farm.

The monster’s head fell to the ground with a sickening. It was one of those sights that was capable of making one puke.

Slush!

It went from the neck of the large massive body who struggled and shook, stretching his hands forward, as if trying to reach for something, someone.

Drahon faced back now, staring at it.

Think of when a wall gecko’s tail is chopped off and it falls to the ground. That was how it looked.

Wriggling as blood spewed from where the head was supposed to be.

Suddenly it ran its headless self into a tree and fell to the ground with a loud THUD!

Drahon looked at it and turned to the others who now gritted their teeths ferociously with a...

Clank! sound.

Like axe chopping on steel.

Drahon brandished his sword and stormed at them.

One of the monsters leaped in the air, his large and massive hands wide open, its hands aimed for Drahon’s head.

Drahon quickly slid and rolled on the floor, the monster landing roughly on the ground.

The other monsters dashed at him. All three, from both angles.

He was encircled at this point. But that wasn’t his business though. They could circle him all they wanted. He had a backup plan.

He expected them to come at him very quickly but instead they halted when they approached him, licking their ugly lips.

Drahon furrowed a brow.

Why were they suddenly halting.

He looked at the...

Up ahead.

The dragon monster which he had slid under earlier was now in the air, its hands wide up, descending on him.

Ok..., okay!!

He was cooked at this point.

He had been encircled and the only way of escape was by leaping in the air.

Seems the monsters thought he would be doing that because they had him covered.

Or did they.

The other monsters now dashed at him too.

Drahon bent down, gripping his sword very tight. In those last moments...

He closed his eyes. Bending down at this point?

He was totally cooked.

But then, Drahon was ready to prove the monsters wrong.

He would break the bounds of normality.

In those last fragments of seconds, the demon dragon monsters thought they had him.

"Draconic leap to the peak!"

Drahon whispered loudly (he had just broken normality there because it was impossible (kinda) to whisper loudly.

A really... really... really... great amount of wind surged underneath him and plunged him into the sky.

Thooooooooom!

Boooooooooom!

It sounded like science and the supernatural collided!

That loud visceral sound.

Drahon raised his hands up while he was plunging upwards and they met the neck of the barbarian who was supposed to ’Kill’ him.

The last expression the monster could give was one of extreme shock and pain.

To cut the long story short, his head was no longer on his neck.

The lifeless head shot to the ground as Drahon landed with flair. One with the similitude of Cinderella touching the floor with one of her ballet slippers.

It was tender, light and had ’Aura’.

With a stern look on his face (that Cavill’s Superman stare), Drahon turned at the remaining monsters and....

"Draconic leap!"

He was in the air again, but then it was too high.

Too high to be ordinary.

The monsters tried to run but before they could, Drahon was already coming down at them, cutting the wind in half like Moses dividing the Red Sea.

And then....

[Multiple kill!]
