Lady Chen only saw a flash before her eyes as the cold blade streaked towards her chest, panic causing her eyes to roll back as she fell straight backward.

"Mother!" Zhang Da screamed.

Lady Chen’s children all cried as they gathered around her.

The crowd was stunned—could she really have killed her?

Looking back at Wufu, they saw the knife in her hand spinning once more, yet there was no bloody blade to be seen.

"You killed my mother!" Zhang Da looked towards Wufu, his face filled with terror.

A few older children started to cry out.

Wufu shouted, "Shut your mouths!"

"Look carefully, I didn’t even touch her with a finger," Wufu scoffed. "She fainted because she got scared; she has a small heart."

She wasn’t foolish enough to kill someone in front of all these people; she wasn’t some crazy murderer.

She was just quick with the knife, oh, and had gotten a bit too close to Lady Chen.

If Lady Chen dared to threaten her, she had to collect some interest, didn’t she?

The crowd roared with laughter.
