Don’t Mess with that Turtle -
Chapter 560 - 560 128 Buddha Mother Daming King Bodhisattva_2
560: Chapter 128 Buddha Mother Daming King Bodhisattva_2 560: Chapter 128 Buddha Mother Daming King Bodhisattva_2 The pool of darkness within this underground cavern had now expanded into a lake and continued to grow.
Yet the cavern itself did not grow with it, though it seemed as if the Yin Power Lake had carved out a flat space underground.
However, as the master of the Inner World, Su He was certain no new space had opened.
This sensation was rather awkward, beyond Su He’s knowledge to describe.
It was as if two worlds overlapped, and this cavern was merely an entrance to another Yin Power World.
This is… Ever since the establishment of the First Heaven, this functionality had existed, resembling an overlapping world, only that world belonged to Yin Power.
Yet, without Yin Qi flowing into it, it remained unseen.
Heavy rain poured in this place; Su He, outside, was tossed up and down by the tornado formed from the Yin Power River, unable to stay still.
Not to mention breaking through and sending forth the Life Jade.
That was still when he wasn’t afraid of the Yin Power invasion.
Had it been anyone else here, survival would be impossible under such dense Yin Power.
Su He grunted, his body transforming into the Dragon Turtle True Form.
At this moment, concerns about contamination no longer mattered.
It was impossible to hunt Yin Ghosts and accumulate Life Jade now, so why care about such things?
With the Dragon Turtle manifesting, a sweep of its claw stirred up towering dark waves, and the wayward Yin Power River seemed to have found its master, acting up no more.
Su He, like a mountain suppressing the tornado, parted the Yin Power River with a swipe of his claws.
Before him, a golden beam invisible at its edges shot up to the Nine Heavens.
Inside, a Peacock cried out to the sky.
As Su He looked up, he saw stars twinkling above the Nine Heavens, but from this angle, they differed completely from the stars seen in the outside world.
This was a piece of starry sky unknown to Su He.
Within the golden light, the Peacock cried out, pecking at a star despite the immense distance.
With a downward snatch, a star was plucked by her and flung towards Feng Zhong, vanishing to parts unknown.
Outside the Yin Power Tornado, Feng Si watched a star shoot skyward and fall, flying towards a lit lantern in Feng Zhong.
The lantern, shaped like a mini volcano, was instantly transformed from a faint glow to starlight, illuminating an expanse of land and dispersing the thick Yin Qi.
“The Soul Lamps are lit, the grand ceremony is truly about to begin,” Feng Si said anxiously, unable to see what was within the water tornado.
A sorrowful cry from the Phoenix Yuan traveled up Feng Si’s throat.
The Phoenix’s cry formed a line that dropped into the Yin Power Tornado, rushing towards Su He amid the roar in his ears.
“Child, come back!
It’s starting!”
The ceremony was happening too swiftly.
The golden light that linked heaven and earth had just been shot forth when the stars began to fall, and the lighting of the Soul Lamps commenced.
Normally, it would take at least three or four days!
The living are always more important than the dead!
The voice twined and dragged Su He back.
Su He, having no ability to respond, leaped out of the tornado and transformed into a Peacock Body, landing before the tomb.
Golden light shot out from the top of the tomb, which now looked like an ordinary mountain.
Its rocks peeling away, it revealed a domed tomb entrance.
The tomb wasn’t resting on the ground but perched atop a Phoenix Sculpture, a creature of immense age and size, recognized by Su He.
It was the same Phoenix from the Heritage Space, carrying the whole legacy world—an unimaginable behemoth that seemed to bear the whole world and the future of their race on its wings, flicking open with boundless hope.
But this Phoenix here was only half-complete, captured in a state of soaring flight.
Half of its body sank into nothingness, leaving only its wings and upper body struggling to support the heavy tomb.
Its eyes drooped slightly as it gazed down into the void, an aura of killing intent and hatred palpable within its stare.
As if a Phoenix was struggling to keep its offspring from drowning, the void below being a terrifying place that devoured all.
In that void, Su He saw nothing.
There were no vortexes, passages, or space-time rifts as expected.
Utterly ordinary.
Yet, the Phoenix bearing the tomb fluctuated within it, sometimes revealing more, sometimes less.
Unlike the hopeful depiction within the legacy, this was a struggle, a fight to prevent their progeny from falling into the unseen depths.
This was the first time Su He saw the true form of the tomb.
Su He burst out of the Yin Power vortex, now in Peacock Body, landing outside the light column beneath the tomb, spreading his pure gold Life Jade, flapping his wings to shatter it, sending Life Energy into the tombstone.
He also brought out Life Jade from Phoenix Chao Fei and Worship Granny, activating their Symbols and shattering their Life Jade respectively.
Above the tomb, the Peacock let out a loud Phoenix cry, its body swiftly shrinking towards essence.
Life Energy continued to pour into the tombstone.
Su He took one deep look at the starry sky above, turned, and plunged back into the Yin Power current, transforming into the Dragon Turtle body, and surged outward.
The Dragon Turtle, naturally connected to water and Yin, moved freely within the Yin Power River.
With a roar, it swallowed the endless Yin Power water flow, turning the Inner World into pitch darkness.
Only then did he leap out, breaking through the Yin water and bursting free.
No sooner had he surfaced than a ribbon of Ice Flame wrapped around him, pulling Su He by the neck like a dog out of the maelstrom.
Su He tumbled to the ground, and before he could rise, he saw the Peacock above the Nine Heavens cry out again, plucking another star and flinging it down.
A ball of light resembling a star fell into a stone lantern, illuminating a space.
At a glance, he realized that each volcanic-like lantern corresponded to a palace.
According to Worship Granny, these palaces were built in imitation of the Mystery Yellow Cave Sky.
The connections between the dwellings formed an intricate Big Array that Su He could not comprehend.
