499: Chapter 109: Phoenix Chao Fei Slays Empress Feng_2 499: Chapter 109: Phoenix Chao Fei Slays Empress Feng_2 The altar descended, and Emperor Luan opened his eyes.

Without waiting for The Big Zong Order to respectfully invite him, he leapt onto the altar already.

Officials from the Clan Mansion had long since led tens of thousands of Sealed Emperor Clan People to sit around the altar in a concentric disc formation.

The Big Zong Order was kneeling on the ground, his body trembling.

Having served as The Big Zong Order for thirty thousand years, he would finally witness with his own eyes the return of an ancestor!

Among the twelve Heavy Ancestors in the Sealed Emperor’s Palace, he wondered which ancestor His Majesty would summon.

He lay prostrate for quite some time, but saw no move from His Majesty.

The Big Zong Order didn’t know what His Majesty was hesitating about.

The return of an ancestor wouldn’t seize His Majesty’s power.

After all, the ancestors were already beyond emperors, their pursuits lying in the elusive Great Tao.

At a loss,

he saw Emperor Luan stamp his foot on the altar and, looking up to the sky, he uttered in a deep voice, “Open!”

It was as if he was giving an order!

The Big Zong Order was startled, his face filled with astonishment.

Even an emperor would kneel and prostrate when summoning an ancestor, presenting a memorial tablet, explaining the hardships of the day, and earnestly inviting the ancestor to descend.

How could he possibly act this way…

While he was still stunned, he saw a swirling vortex appear above the altar, followed by the emergence of an eyeball that looked down upon the earth.

It was Ancestor Zhong who had appeared earlier that day!

That eyeball still had five large holes – the marks of Princess Snow’s five Divine God Dragons.

The Big Zong Order’s eyes widened in shock.

This ancestor should currently be entangled in combat with Thai Zu of the Dragon Turtle Tribe; how could His Majesty summon this ancestor—ah, that’s it!

Judging from the night sky, Ancestor Zhong is likely no match for Thai.

Is His Majesty trying to use the summoning as an opportunity to help Ancestor Zhong escape from the battlefield?

The Big Zong Order’s mind raced with thoughts.

But wouldn’t that draw Thai down as well?

Only the Sealed Emperor’s Palace and Guiwang Mountain had the means to summon ancestors.

The ancestors of the Dragon Turtle Tribe could only return through normal channels, and their return was always time-limited.

Just like the last time the Soaring Snake was annihilated, Thai hurried back and left again in haste without even meeting the newly accepted Little Turtle of his family.

This moment presented an opportunity for surreptitious transport, and Thai might well take advantage of it!

The Big Zong Order’s face was filled with worry.

From above came the inquiring voice of the eyeball, “You summon me, what is the matter!”

The voice was ice-cold.

“Is Ancestor Zhong still entangled with Thai?” Emperor Luan asked.

After a long pause, the eyeball replied, “Yes!”

The voice carried a hint of displeasure.

The Big Zong Order crouched even lower, daring not to move an inch.

The ancestor’s displeasure wasn’t about being entangled, but being hunted by Thai!

After all, directly attacking the Little Dragon Turtle had touched the Dragon Turtle Tribe’s Nielin.

Yet Emperor Luan seemed as if he didn’t catch the tone.

With a flick of his finger, a token rose from his forehead, floating upwards, “Obtained from the Mystery Yellow Cave Heaven, the Thunder Department Heavenly Punishment Order, to assist Ancestor Zhong in suppressing the Dragon Turtle!”

The pupil in that eye froze in an instant.

Centered on it, a figure emerged, Four Eyes Six Ears, indeed the Ancestor Zhong that appeared earlier that day.

Looking down, his gaze fell upon the token rising from Emperor Luan, the ice-cold demeanor in his eyes receding, “Good!

With this token, I still may not be able to suppress Thai, but he won’t be able to descend and trouble the Seal Emperor.”

“Open the realm barrier!” Ancestor Zhong commanded with a heavy voice.

The Big Zong Order stood up, his face full of disbelief.

His Majesty wasn’t initiating the altar to summon an ancestor, but to send an artifact to an ancestor!

He dared not contemplate further and rose to his feet, pressing his palm downward.

Starting from the altar, a wave of light spread, and tens of thousands of Sealed Emperor Clan People felt the Iron Chains within them uncontrollably writhing.

“Open the passage, welcome the ancestor!” sang The Big Zong Order in his strange voice.

Divine intuition told everyone what to do next.

With palms toward the sky, Iron Chains extended from their hands, piercing the heavens.

A light arose from the altar, drawing the power of the Iron Chains to form a colossal Iron Chain glow, probing into the sky.

With a touch and a booming explosion, the entire starry sky was torn and rolled up.

Where the altar was, the sky collapsed, but outside of Sealed Emperor Ancestral Land, not a trace of anomaly could be seen – the starry night remained unchanged.

The sky split open, and a large hand reached down from above, “Come to me!”

An old voice resounded, Emperor Luan pointed, and the token flew straight into the Nine Heavens, quickly falling into the palm of the hand.

A smile then appeared on Ancestor Zhong’s face in the stars above.

Even within the Four Eyes, phantoms of the Dragon Turtle’s demise began to emerge.

But at that moment, a thunderbolt burst from the token, transforming into a Thunder Dragon that wrapped around the giant hand and pulled it downward.

Ancestor Zhong, with Four Eyes and Six Ears, was yanked entirely into the passageway, his face immediately registering shock, followed by furious anger!

This rebellious child had snatched the throne of his descendants and now had the audacity to scheme against him!

One couldn’t claim kinship just because they shared blood, could they?

“Unfilial descendant!” Ancestor Zhong roared, a palm striking downward, an eyeball shining with a sinister red light in his palm.

Yet, Emperor Luan stamped his foot, and the Iron Chains reaching into the sky from the hands of tens of thousands of clansmen trembled in unison.

Then, they shattered with a crackling sound.

A wave of pitiful screams.

The people cried out in agony.

Emperor Luan, as if he heard nothing, pushed his palm out, the shattered Iron Chain pieces, like talisman curses, bombarding Ancestor Zhong, whose Four Eyes glared, “Presumptuous!”

With a shout, a third eye rose behind him, hurtling towards the ground below.

With the channel open, it was no longer an attack on Su He’s phantom, but the actual eyeball itself.

As the eyeball descended, Emperor Luan, unrushed and composed, tossed out a Three-legged Ding.

The shattered Iron Chain fragments were collected into the vessel with a clattering noise, then fused back together inside the Ding, forming five thick Iron Chains that soared up and struck the eyeball, piercing the five blood holes left by Princess Snow’s assault.

Five Iron Chains, one end embedded in the eyeball within the sky channel, the other connected to the Three-legged Ding.

Like five conduits, they guzzled the power of the eyeball.

A scream came from the sky.

Ancestor Zhong’s eyes filled with shock as his hands reached down, grabbing the Iron Chains to pull.

Clattering!

The Three-legged Ding, secured to the ground, was yanked by the Iron Chains, two of its legs suddenly shattered, revealing their true form—two massive mountains linked to the Sealed Emperor Great World.
