Don’t Mess with that Turtle -
Chapter 485 - 485 104 Netherworld·Yuan Sovereign_3
485: Chapter 104 Netherworld·Yuan Sovereign_3 485: Chapter 104 Netherworld·Yuan Sovereign_3 The Third Emperor’s Son’s complexion had just improved slightly, his eyes narrowed as he looked at the Dragon Turtle in front of him.
“You think I would believe you?”
After what had just happened, he wouldn’t believe a single word from the Dragon Turtle’s mouth!
Their positions were opposed; where was there room for good intentions?
Su He laughed heartily, “Whether you believe it or not, won’t you know after listening?”
He continued with a smile, “Like cures like…”
“Shut up!
How dare you incite such thoughts!” The Third Emperor’s Son’s face changed drastically at the sound of those few words, and he thrust his long gun at Su He.
Su He dodged skillfully with the Divine God Machine, while loudly saying, “What is the Third Emperor’s Son afraid of?
Like cures like, if the little princess can’t heal her leg, cut off both legs.
Transplant legs from siblings and all is well!”
As a spear thrust at him, Su He, at full power of the Divine God Machine, dodged, “Yikes!
Almost got me!”
“Why so eager, Third Emperor’s Son?
Could it be you cannot bear to lose a pair of legs?
You must really desire the throne!
Otherwise, why care about a mere pair of legs?”
“There are many of you siblings, one to be Crown Prince, others can contribute a left leg or a right leg, problem solved, right?
Why be stingy!
If that’s not enough, there’s always your cousins!
In the Sealed Emperor Great World, wars are plentiful, any old excuse could be used to kill off two cousins, couldn’t it?”
The Third Emperor’s Son’s expression darkened as he pointed his long gun straight at Su He, his voice rising in rebuke, “Nonsense!”
A toad avatar appeared above Su He’s divided body, helping him dodge unpredictably.
This avatar alone couldn’t evade the Third Emperor’s Son’s long spear.
“Tsk tsk!” In the midst of his clumsy escape, Su He clicked his tongue, “Are you losing your composure?
Did I strike a nerve?
Don’t tell me you already knew this method could heal your sister, yet you refused to do it?”
Su He feigned sudden realization, “I see!
Your esteemed father dotes on her the most, forbidding her from the fray; are you afraid that she might become a rival for the throne once she’s healed?
Tsk tsk!
In our Cultivation World, we do not adhere to the notion that men are superior to women.
An Empress can indeed be heroic!”
The Third Emperor’s Son’s face grew even more somber, “Dragon Turtle!
My sister is but eight years old, how dare you mislead her!”
Leaping, he lunged at Su He with his spear, the fierce spear wind transforming into a Black Dragon, roaring as it tore through the air towards him.
Su He’s body’s true essence surged towards the toad, and with a croak, it teleported him away to evade.
Emperor Luan’s voice came from above, “Dragon Turtle, I have said, Qinghe is not part of this game!”
On the island, Emperor Luan placed down a piece with an expression neither joyful nor sorrowful, glancing down.
If you can stir up strife among princes with a few words, that’s your skill, but involving Qinghe?
You should be killed for that!
Ji Feixue watched Su He with a smile.
The Little Master wasn’t usually such a frivolous turtle, usually opting to kill enemies without much talk.
Was he taking advantage of the situation, knowing of the Drake’s plight and seeking revenge on her behalf?
Can’t beat them, so you bring them trouble?
Ji Feixue snickered.
You haven’t changed at all!
Below, Su He looked up at the invisible island, snorting coldly, “You say it’s not part of the game, and it isn’t?
Since when do you get to decide for the Dragon Turtle?
When she shot arrows at me, you said nothing, when you encouraged your son to suppress me, you remained silent.
But when I retaliate against her, you speak up?”
“She was not part of the game at eight years old!
When I was eight, I was suppressed by Prince Changfeng of the Sealed Emperor Palace Seven Heavy Heaven Step.
Why didn’t you inquire whether I was part of the game then?”
The Dragon Turtle chuckled a few times, “Emperor, you place your authority over the Dragon Turtle—where do you find the confidence?
From your prison guard?”
In terms of Tao Cultivation, he couldn’t compete with Emperor Luan, but his wife was right there above them.
In terms of status, he was the Dragon Turtle, by origin one pursued the Way of the Xuanwu, the other broke out in Prison Guard Clothes.
Who fears whom?
Above on the island, Emperor Luan couldn’t bring himself to place the chess piece he had picked up.
His eyes narrowed slightly as he looked towards Su He.
Laughter from the Master of the Nine Heavens drifted down, “Well said!
The Seal Emperor’s Emperor can’t stand tall in the Mystery Huang World.
Little Dragon Turtle, I’m counting on you!
Visit my Jixia Academy when you have time.”
Su He turned away from the sky, responding to the Master in a long chant, “Elder, I love shrimp!”
The Master laughed even more happily.
“To death!” The Third Emperor’s Son’s face turned livid with rage as he thrust his long gun at Su He.
While one family rejoices, another seethes with anger!
Under his command, the Dragon Turtle had defied the Emperor, and now he, the Third Emperor’s Son, couldn’t fathom the kind of criticisms he’d have to face in the future.
Fueled by anger, his thrust was so powerful that even the frozen space of the Sealed Emperor’s Palace was pierced through, aiming straight for Su He.
Above his head, the toad croaked once and then disappeared.
There was no escaping this thrust, after dodging several times, he had reached his limit, but there was no need to dodge anymore, as the Dragon Turtle True Form below had already made its move.
As the Third Emperor’s Son made his thrust, he saw a smug flash in the eyes of the Dragon Turtle.
Realizing something was amiss, he attempted to retract his long gun, but it was already too late.
With a thunderous roar, the Dragon Turtle exploded.
However, it wasn’t the earth-shattering self-detonation of a Divine God Beast.
A sweep of Yin Qi spread out, and within the Sealed Emperor’s Palace, a passage opened up, but it wasn’t a space channel.
It was dark and profound, an unknown path to who knows where.
Immediately after, cries and howls filled the air, as a horde of ghostly creatures surged out.
A Netherworld Passage!
The Third Emperor’s Son’s complexion grew incredibly grim as he danced his long gun in front of him for defense.
The self-detonating avatar had opened a passage no smaller than the ones controlled by Su He’s main body; the ghost creatures streamed out.
Upon rushing out, they didn’t head towards the Third Emperor’s Son to attack, instead, they all paused, and then, with cries, they rushed toward the southeastern corner of the Sealed Emperor’s Palace.
It seemed that their true enemy lay there.
That location was where the Grand Temple of the Sealed Emperor’s Palace stood, enshrining not only the ancestors of the Imperial Clan but also generations of famous officials and great generals.
The crowd, still caught in battle, suddenly quieted down, watching as the ghost creatures wreaked havoc on their way.
On the island, Emperor Luan changed his expression for the first time.
A chess piece fell, shattering one of Xuanzhen Taoist’s big dragons.
A formation lit up at the southeastern corner of the Sealed Emperor’s Palace, forming a pillar of light that rose up to defend the area.
Xuanzhen Taoist chuckled, followed by a move that instantly turned the tables on Emperor Luan, counterattacking him.
This move from Little Dragon Turtle was a direct hit on Emperor Luan’s foundation!
The old beggar below burst into laughter.
He tossed his broken bowl and charged toward the southeastern corner first.
This ghost creature Little Dragon Turtle was not ordinary, as if it came from an era long gone, an existence of unfathomable antiquity.
Ghost creatures lacked intelligence and fought only on instinct.
In other words, there was something within the Grand Temple of the Sealed Emperor’s Palace that instinctively drove them to desire suppression!
The broken bowl scattered light, gathering a swarm of ghost creatures, which floated beside the old beggar as he crashed through the formation and into the Grand Temple.
Then a dull thud was heard.
The old beggar entered swiftly but exited even faster, with rows of Golden Dragons coiling in front of him, protecting his retreat.
From within the Grand Temple came a ferocious roar, and two figures charged out.
They were identical in appearance, with human upper bodies but the legs and hoofs of a bull, their muscles twisted like dragons, and atop their heads, each sported a single horn.
With hollow eyes devoid of eyeballs, they leaped out and simultaneously attacked the old beggar.
“Yuan Sovereign!” The old beggar’s forced smile barely concealed his sarcasm as he glanced at the island above.
Fearlessly, he spun his broken bowl to strike the two figures.
The shattered armor of the ghostly creatures within the bowl clashed, their skyward bugle calls in unison as if they were chanting cadence, yet they couldn’t articulate human speech.
A bleakness enveloped the air, carrying with it the aura of ghostly creatures ready to embrace death.
