Don’t Mess with that Turtle -
Chapter 353 - 353 60 Empress_1
353: Chapter 60 Empress?_1 353: Chapter 60 Empress?_1 It was a rare clear day, with the bright moon high in the sky.
A few wisps of white clouds flew past, driven by the wind.
A flying boat glided slowly beneath the moonlight.
Onboard, Su Huanian leaned against the railing, standing gracefully, the moonlight setting off her pale blue clothing, making her appear as though crafted from flowing water.
Gazing at the passing clouds outside the flying boat, she seemed like a tranquil fairy, exuding an elegant and aloof charm that made others feel unworthy and hesitant to approach.
Yet, a pair of mischievous eyes was unaffected and even became bolder, their gaze lingering on her.
Su He lay on the deck, watching Su Huanian as a breeze pressed her clothes tightly against her body, perfectly outlining her impressive figure.
Ya Ya ran back and forth on the deck, having been cooped up in Long Moon Mansion without anyone to spar with, the child was going stir-crazy.
The flying boat wasn’t moving fast.
There was no need to rush since they were out for leisure, not on an urgent journey.
Tired from running, Ya Ya returned and sneakily pressed on the helm.
With a small push, the flying boat suddenly accelerated, shooting straight up into the sky.
Ya Ya yelled out in alarm, scrambling to turn the helm downward.
The flying boat plummeted, piercing through the clouds with a howl and heading straight for a short mountain.
Lights shone brightly on the mountain, illuminating the entire summit, and a long line of torches snaked up from the foot of the mountain.
Atop the mountain sat a mountain stronghold, the air filled with the aroma of meat and the fumes of alcohol.
In the center lay half a chest of ingots and several chests of copper coins, surrounded by a group of mountain thieves dividing the treasure, eating meat, and drinking heavily.
Suddenly there was a cry from above: “Help!
Run away down there!
I don’t know how to steer the flying boat!”
The Mountain King was a young man in his early twenties, with an aura unlike that of an ordinary person.
Sitting on a tiger skin chair, he did not join the thieves in their raucous feasting and laughter over gold and silver; instead, he quietly drank from his jug.
Upon hearing the shout, he looked up and saw a two or three-year-old girl, piloting a flying boat that was hurtling straight toward them.
He was shocked!
Leaping to his feet, the flying wheel behind him soared into the air to intercept the oncoming vessel.
When the flying wheel collided with the flying boat, it shattered into pieces with a snap—Su He’s flying boat had no defensive power, but that was in comparison to a Divine God Beast or someone of the Stepping Sky Realm.
Against attacks of the Transcendence Realm like this, there was simply no need for defense; a head-on collision would suffice.
“Help!
It’s gonna crash, it’s gonna crash!” Ya Ya screamed, struggling with all her might to turn the helm, finally managing to bring the flying boat to a sudden stop ten yards from the top of the mountain.
The fierce wind from the flying boat slammed into the hillside, pinning the gang of mortal thieves to the ground.
Pots and pans scattered everywhere, and the bonfire that was snuffed out by the force reignited with a loud explosion as soon as the flying boat came to a stop.
Even the Mountain King could barely stand, the flesh on his body appearing to flow downward due to the blast.
Squeak!
The flying boat corrected its course, no longer nose-diving; it turned horizontally and came to a steady halt.
“Phew!” Ya Ya patted her wildly thumping heart, then turned back to glance at the empty flying boat, glaring resentfully at the clouds.
Bad Daddy!
The moment she touched the helm, her daddy had scooped up mommy and leaped out of the flying boat, now resting among the clouds.
Daddy was indeed only getting close to her because of mommy, wasn’t he?
Ya Ya carefully landed the flying boat, her face full of apology as she looked down at the thieves strewn about on the ground.
The Mountain King stared in astonishment at the flying boat; he had never seen such a massive and luxurious vessel in his life.
And what was even more remarkable was that it was piloted by a mere two or three-year-old little girl!
A person with a brains of a military advisor stumbled toward the king, whispering urgently into his ear, “Brother!
Brother!
It’s just a little brat; she must have stolen a flying boat from home, or even someone else’s, and flown here.”
“We…” He opened one hand, then clenched it into a fist violently.
The Mountain King’s face changed instantly, and with a smack, he floored the would-be advisor: “Are you insane?!
Whoever has such a flying boat, are they ordinary people?
You mess with someone’s daughter, and you’re tired of living?”
The military advisor fell to the ground, looking up in shock: “What are you thinking, brother?
I haven’t had my brain eaten by a Bat Beast!
I’m saying we should have her join us!
With such a patron deity, wouldn’t we have whatever we wanted at our beck and call?”
The head honcho caught his breath but then shook his head: “Such beings are little ancestors; we can’t afford to maintain them!
What if we want to turn left but she insists on turning right?
What do we do then?”
Moreover, someone like that could wipe out their small fish and shrimp outfit with the slightest disturbance; mountain strongholds like theirs should steer clear of such beings!
To avoid both the good and the bad was the only way to survive as bandits.
Yet the military advisor laughed hehe: “Brother, she’s just a little brat!
We just need to coax her into coming back; wouldn’t that make it possible to shape her however we want?”
Couldn’t they handle a little kid?
“Human traffickers?” a milk-sweet voice asked in their ears.
“Of course not!” the advisor waved his hands dismissively.
They would never stoop to unsavory deeds like that, would they?
“Ah!
But that’s ill-intentioned!” the childlike voice sounded vaguely confused.
The two men were startled and quickly turned around, only to see a tiny fist growing larger in their vision before it suddenly smashed down in front of them.
With a boom, the air fractured.
The men felt an airwave slam into them, as if a great mountain had come crashing down; both were sent flying, breaking the flag in the yard that read “Acting for the Heaven’s path.”
“Let you round!”
“Let you flat!”
In a soft voice that was puffing and blowing, two thieves were smashed into the ground, then ejected back into the forest.
They tried to flee but saw the little girl punch the air, causing the very wind to suck them back as if vacuumed in.
“Grandma!
Dear grandma!
Spare us!” the pair started screaming.
This was clearly not some ordinary child; this was an old Demon disguised as a baby, pretending to be weak to ensnare her prey!
“Dear grandma, we were just saying!
Our Monkey Mountain Village is a righteous stronghold!
We’re not bad people!”
