Don’t Mess with that Turtle -
Chapter 339 - 339 54 Little Bai Ze_3
339: Chapter 54 Little Bai Ze_3 339: Chapter 54 Little Bai Ze_3 Bai Ze could inherit the previous generation’s Dao with flawless perfection, without missing the slightest detail.
Once fully merged, they would reach the peak of the previous generation, and only then would they truly begin their cultivation.
If they could take even one step further, their Dao would be passed on to the next generation after they perished.
If they improved enough, even the talents and potential of the next generation born from their remains could be enhanced.
As long as each generation surpasses the last, there will eventually be a time when they can dominate all heavens.
Unlike other Divine God Beasts, what Bai Ze pursued was not reproduction—there will always be only one Bai Ze, so there is no question of reproduction.
Their goal was to surpass the previous generation and lay a solid foundation for the next one.
And, to guard the Bai Ze List well!
Ji Feixue wandered through Chaos, lost in thought.
Perhaps it was time to visit the upper levels of Bai Ze Building, which housed the special memories left behind by past generations of Bai Ze.
But accessing Bai Ze’s memories and taking on Bai Ze’s causality meant losing a lot of freedom.
What if one only wanted the memories and not the causality?
Ji Feixue was annoyed.
…
As Su Hua dashed wildly, she inwardly scorned Green Thunder.
To think that the turtle, despite being hundreds of thousands of years old, couldn’t take a joke!
It was just a tease about being the weakest, and yet it had smacked her into a space channel and smoothed out the entrance.
Right now, Su Hua had Long Moon Mansion ahead and the mending space channel behind.
If she slowed down even a bit, she would be squeezed out of the space channel and fall who knows where.
With the water churning below, Su Hua crashed into Long Moon Mansion, and the space channel closed by grazing her turtle shell.
Just narrowly avoiding being thrown out.
There was a flurry of activity inside Long Moon Mansion.
By the lakeside, a garden had been erected.
A sense of comfort and ease emanated from the Long Moon Mansion.
It wasn’t the charm of Long Moon Mansion itself; it was the handiwork of the Mermaids.
The garden was created by the Mermaids.
The Toad leaped out from between her brows, seeking credit and reward, “How about that?
I released them from the minor world.
The garden is great, isn’t it?”
The Boundary Stone of the minor world was refined by Su He, but the Toad could control it just as well.
The Soul Beast and its master are inseparable.
Su He nodded; it was very good.
Although it couldn’t compare to Ji Fei’s underwater garden, it was pleasant to the eye.
The only problem was that the three hundred Mermaids under her command were all in the Transcendence Realm, with the only Demonic one being the sacrifice, Long Min.
Their experience was admittedly shallow.
Back in Tinghai Lake, she could still modify the Formations set by Su Huanian to better suit Su He, even though Tinghai Lake wasn’t fully constructed before it was gone.
Now, the Formations set by the Mermaids hardly affected Su He anymore.
Being in them simply felt more comfortable.
She would turn around and greet a few uncles and ancestors and send out some exchange students, choosing a few Mermaid sprouts to be sent to the uncles and ancestors for education.
Su He dived through the rolling waves and headed straight into the garden.
The garden was nestled beside a mountain and a river, connecting to the waters of the outer lake, with ample room to accommodate Su He’s size.
Apart from regular buildings, there were Sunbathing Stones, diving spots, feeding areas… everything one might need.
Seeing Su He return, the Mermaids bowed respectfully, forcibly suppressing the frenzy in their eyes as they slowly retreated.
Good followers do not overwhelm their Divine God with enthusiasm.
But their own Divine God was truly unreliable—who else’s Dragon Turtle would just cast aside Mermaids and ignore them?
Shouldn’t a normal Dragon Turtle at this age remain in a sleepy state and accept the Mermaids’ offerings?
As for her Dragon Turtle, it had accepted them before even undergoing its tribulation and hadn’t had a day of rest since.
She hadn’t even gotten to know all three hundred Mermaids yet.
Luckily, the Divine God now had a daughter.
This had thrilled the Mermaids beyond measure in recent times.
Two Dragon Turtles!
Which Mermaid tribe could boast that they served two Dragon Turtles like hers?
Ya Ya jumped out of a room and gleamed at the sight of Su He, “Turtle Dad is back!” She ran over happily, spreading her hands as a matter of course, “Did you bring back any big shrimp for me?”
Su He: “…”
Suddenly realizing, is that what dads are supposed to do when they come back from a trip—to bring gifts for their daughters?
She had no experience with this!
Seeing his stunned expression, Ya Ya knew the result and huffed with her mouth pouted.
Su He was immediately at a loss for what to do.
Inside, the Toad was taking delight in the misfortune, cackling with laughter.
Su He turned a glare at it, grumbling in her mind, “I failed in my responsibility, but you’re no better, you’re also supposed to be a…
”
Before he could finish speaking, the toad lifted the pocket on its belly and pulled out a small jade shrimp, stuffing it into Ya Ya’s hands with the tenderness of an old cow licking her calf, patting her hand saying, “This isn’t for eating, but if you cook it with food, everything will taste of fresh shrimp…”
The previously pouting Ya Ya immediately beamed with joy.
Fruits could taste of shrimp too?
She laughed and rushed over to hug Su He’s neck, “Thank you, Turtle Dad!”
Since it was the soul beast of Turtle Dad, it naturally counted as a gift from Turtle Dad, and she was very satisfied.
The toad looked at Ya Ya, then at Su He, “???”
Ya Ya walked over and patted its head, “Good boy!”
In the entire family, the toad was the shortest, the only one she could pat on the head, even her mother’s Green Bird was taller than her.
“Turtle Dad, yesterday Ya Ya brought back a sister, one we’ve seen before.
She’s still unconscious in the room, mother is trying to think of ways to save her.”
Ya Ya stuffed the jade shrimp into her little pouch and put her hands on her hips, reporting her achievement to Su He.
“Really?
Ya Ya is the best!” Su He praised her.
After merging with the origin of the Dragon-Turtle and accomplishing Transcendence, not only did Ya Ya become smaller in stature and shape, but her Spirit Wisdom seemed to have slightly regressed too.
Uncle Lei had looked at it and said it was normal.
Previously, the origin had been severely lacking, and after the merging, she was finally growing from the equivalent of a two or three-year-old, albeit slowly because of her Dragon-Turtle status, but at least she wouldn’t fall asleep at every turn like before.
It was a normal growth process, step by step, and one day she would grow into a big girl.
Her Spirit Wisdom wouldn’t remain at a three or four-year-old’s level for a cycle anymore.
Su He coaxed Ya Ya as they walked into the garden courtyard and stopped in front of a house.
Looking in through the door, Su He saw Su Huanian with furrowed brows beside a wooden bed, appearing somewhat helpless as she watched over the unconscious woman on the bed.
It was Qian Qianzi.
They had separated before spring started, and now she laid unconscious here.
Su Huanian had heard the noise outside the door.
She pulled out the Silver Needles from Qian Qianzi’s body and walked out after storing them in their case.
Looking at Su He with a graceful smile, she asked, “You’re back?”
Su He nodded and gestured towards the room, “What happened to Qian Qianzi?”
Su Huanian gave a slight shake of her head, “Yesterday, Ya Ya sneaked out of Long Moon Mansion, saw her falling from the clouds, and carried her back in this unconscious state.
Her Divine God Soul is lost.”
Qian Qianzi was once invited by Su He to cross the Immortal Domain to save Ya Ya.
Though she hadn’t made it in time to lend a hand, Su Huanian remembered this act of kindness.
But she had no idea what Qian Qianzi had gone through in these past few months.
“Toad!” Su He turned her head.
“I’m already asking!” the toad said.
In this past year and more, the toad had been the one hanging around Qianjiang and becoming familiar with everyone.
It had already jumped into Qianjiang and started inquiring in the chat area.
Green Flower: “Canchen, come out!”
A big question mark appeared in the chat area from Canchen Taoist.
The toad wasn’t being polite today.
Green Flower: “Aren’t you traveling with Qian Qianzi?
Why is she injured and unconscious?”
Su He called Canchen Taoist a senior, but the toad did not.
When it came to age, it wasn’t even clear who should be calling who senior!
The toad posted an enraged emoji and called out again, “Little Hundred Flowers, where are you?”
Qian Qianzi’s soul beast was a sunflower-shaped soul beast.
Little Hundred Flowers did not respond.
It wasn’t in Qianjiang, and even the consciousness body Qian Qianzi had left in Qianjiang had dissipated.
On the Tank Battlefield, numerous tanks exploded, and two figures landed in front of the toad, bubbles overhead saying, “Qian Qianzi only traveled with us for a few days before leaving early for the Heavenly Star Immortal Domain.”
The speaker was True Person Nanming.
Next to him, Canchen Taoist looked serious, “What happened to Qian Qianzi?”
Before the toad could reply, a Dragon-Turtle suddenly appeared, bubbles above its head, “Her flesh body is damaged, her Divine God Soul has left.
Are the two seniors still in Mystery Huang World?
Su Huanian and I are not skilled at summoning souls.”
It wasn’t just a lack of skill—they were a swordsman and a brute, neither of them had the chance to learn.
True Person Nanming nodded, text appearing in a bubble, “I am still here, young friend.
Tell me your location, and I will come right away.
If you have someone skilled in Divination nearby, you might first try to see if they can locate Qian Qianzi’s Divine God Soul.
I’ll reimburse the energy required for the Divination once I arrive.”
In this realm, Heavenly’s Secret was hidden, making Divination accuracy extremely low and the cost frighteningly high.
More importantly, aside from White Spirit, Su He didn’t know anyone else skilled in Divination.
White Spirit had long vanished and couldn’t help with the Divination…
Thinking this, Su He’s eyes brightened—perhaps there was a way!
Among the inheritances left by White Spirit in the Heritage Sea, there were three Giant Talisman Runes on the ancestral dao shadow.
One of them dealt with Divination.
While Su He couldn’t learn it, White Spirit left a message saying the talisman could help him with Divination once a year.
He hadn’t used it in all these years.
