Don’t Mess with that Turtle
Chapter 317 - 317 44 Power Pulling Mountains and Overbearing the World_2

317: Chapter 44 Power Pulling Mountains and Overbearing the World_2 317: Chapter 44 Power Pulling Mountains and Overbearing the World_2 Qing Lei shook his head, not wanting to comment further on the matter.

With a flick of his paw, the talisman runes on the dragon horn fell onto Feng Duo.

He would first find the Scholar that Su He had mentioned, and then check out this so-called Evil-suppressing Taoist Palace.

For some reason, he felt a connection with the Dragon Turtle whenever he heard those four words.

In the mountain village, the heavy rain had turned into a drizzle, and Su He’s rain had the effect of cleansing, purifying, and healing wounds.

The villagers gradually woke up, stunned for a while, then suddenly someone remembered what had happened before.

Their faces filled with terror, they exclaimed, “Turtle…

Turtle!”

At that shout of “turtle,” everyone remembered.

Looking around, nothing in the village had been lost.

The only loss was Aunt Dong’s son, who just happened to go into the mountains today—wait, what son of Aunt Dong?

Aunt Dong was an elderly woman in the village, her son had died ten years ago during a raid by mountain thieves!

“Do you think…” someone whispered, “could it be that a Divine God Turtle knew our village was in trouble, and impersonated Aunt Dong’s son in advance, staying in the village?

And only today did he go into the mountains to subdue demons.”

Once he said this, it immediately resonated with the others, “That must be it!

Look, the turtle shadow also rose from Aunt Dong’s house in the end!”

“And think about it, when the Divine God Turtle transformed into Aunt Dong’s son, he helped this family with fetching water, that one with chopping wood, and even helped us herd cattle and watch the mountains, taking care of us old folks…”

Most of the able-bodied young men in the village had died ten years ago, and the entire village struggled to survive, but these past two months had been the best they’d ever had.

“Such a good turtle, why don’t we build a Longevity Temple for him?”

After the event, what the villagers recalled the most, on top of their amazement at the thunderous roar and the huge dice, was what Feng Duo had done in the village over the past two months.

Su He retracted the light rain, condensed water into a belt, and carried Elder Qiao as they flew toward Long Moon Mansion.

This rain was enough to cure diseases, dispel disasters, and allow an old man to reach old age peacefully.

As for the Longevity Temple—it did not matter anymore, after all, Su He did not care.

Mid-flight, Ya Ya had already woken up.

She kicked her four legs on Su He’s back, shook her head, and stretched out of her shell.

Murmuring to herself in a groggy voice, she began to mutter, “Turtle Grandpa, I still want to eat Snow Toad!

Three thousand years old, five thousand years is too much to digest…”

Su He blinked his eyes, Snow Toad?

And even picky about the age?

I want to eat too—I’ve never eaten it before!

They’ve never given me anything tasty!

Feeling quite indignant at that thought.

A mighty Dragon Turtle, and he had never eaten proper delicacies, his flesh body being refined was all through the Gluttonous Eating Method, swallowing various refining materials.

“Eh?

Big Turtle…

Little Turtle…

Turtle Dad!

Where’s Turtle Grandpa?” Ya Ya’s Little Dragon Head looked all around.

The tiny dragon head was only slightly larger than an adult’s fist, without even the slightest hint of budding dragon horns, endearingly small and cute.

Looking around, she spotted the unconscious Elder Qiao on the water belt.

“Is that Grandpa Qiao?

Why is Grandpa Qiao’s hand gone?”

Su He waved his paw to pull Elder Qiao beneath him, blocking Ya Ya’s view, but he didn’t know how to explain.

Between his past and present life, this was the first time he had been in charge of his daughter, and he had no idea how to provide psychological support.

But Ya Ya was no ordinary girl; born of battle among exotic beasts, she was accustomed to the bloodshed and violence and regained her composure after a moment of silence.

She quietly comforted herself, “It’s okay, just an arm’s gone, it won’t affect eating.”

Su He: “…”

As Ya Ya’s sleepiness faded and she fully awoke, she patted Su He’s shell vigorously, “Turtle Dad, Turtle Dad, I brought you something tasty!”

She laughed cheerfully and spat out a toad that resembled a withered tree leaf.

“An eight thousand year old Snow Toad, I had to act cute to get it from Turtle Grandpa, here you go, Turtle Dad, eat this!”

Su He felt greatly comforted, and his spirit snake tail patted Ya Ya’s shell, “Good girl!

Swallow it quickly, your mother is seriously injured and needs nourishment, later you can spit it out for her to eat.”

“Mom’s injured again?” Ya Ya’s voice instantly turned somber.

Mom’s too weak, always getting injured, always injured!

But no, she definitely didn’t want to swallow it again; spitting it out and swallowing it back, that’s too disgusting.

As the two turtles talked, time flew swiftly by, and in the blink of an eye, they arrived at Long Moon Mansion, leaping in to find Su Huanian floating in midair with the Immortal Sword under his feet, operating the mansion’s power to suppress the Strange Land.

Seeing Su He come in, his eyes lit up, and when he noticed Ya Ya coiled up by the spirit snake, his smile grew even wider.

“Mother!” Ya Ya called out, her four claws stomping on Su He’s back before she turned into a bolt of blue lightning that shot towards Su Huanian.

Near him, she transformed back into human form and burrowed into Su Huanian’s arms, snuggling fiercely.

With that, Su He’s breathing instantly tightened.

“Stop messing around!” Su Huanian gently patted Ya Ya’s back twice and pulled her out.

The little girl’s cheeks were chubby, and she had seemingly become smaller than before—previously looking about three or four years old, she now looked barely three.

However, her vital energy was stable, with no more signs of the crisis caused by Origin loss.

“Did Elder Qiao bring her back?” Su Huanian asked Su He softly.

Su He pulled out a water strap, and Su Huanian, prepared, flicked her bare hand, propelling a Pill Medicine into Elder Qiao’s mouth.

“He’s damaged at the core; I’m afraid his Tao Cultivation will be very difficult to recover.” Su Huanian, having been ill for so long, diagnosed Elder Qiao’s injuries in just a glance.

Though his injuries were severe, his life was ultimately not in danger.

“The Scholar isn’t here; I handed Feng Duo over to Uncle Lei for interrogation,” Su He said.

“Thank you,” Su Huanian whispered softly.

Su He laughed, “Why are you thanking me?

Besides, the Scholar is an enemy, and Elder Qiao is a benefactor.

I would have saved him regardless.”

“Good!” Su Huanian responded with a single word, though not sure what exactly was good.

“First, we must extract the Strange Land and restore the cavernous mansion!” With Feng Duo captured, there was no longer a need for the Strange Land to exist.

Su He let out a long howl to the sky, her Domain instantly unfolding to its fullest, engulfing more than half of the cavernous mansion.

The Dragon Turtle had its own unique refining method; using its Domain to infiltrate and refine the cavernous mansion was the most convenient.

Coupled with the Barbarian King Refining World Technique, the effect far surpassed Su Huanian’s mere use of the Jade Pendant.

With Su He’s involvement, the power of the cavernous mansion thoroughly suppressed that of the Strange Land.

Ya Ya tugged at Su Huanian’s clothes, “Mother, Turtle Dad said you’ve been seriously injured again.”

With her lips always curved in a smile, Su Huanian swept away her usual cool demeanor and shook her head gently, “Mother’s fine, almost completely recovered!”

“Mother’s lying to me again!” Ya Ya pouted, “But I have something great for Mother that will definitely make you recover quickly.”

As she spoke, she mysteriously pulled out a red gourd from her storage brocade pouch, shaking it to reveal the half-bottle of liquid inside that sloshed about.

“A treasure!

I swiped it from Grandpa Lei.”

Su He felt even more content inside.

How could she not adore such a little girl?

Even when pilfering, she thought to bring back treasures for her parents.

Feeling an immense sense of gratification, it was as if experiencing the feeling of witnessing one’s own daughter growing up.

Then they saw Ya Ya, holding onto her mother’s hem, fall to the ground, “Mother, let me show you how to use it!”

She scampered over to a tree thick enough to be hugged by two people, embraced it with both hands, and yanked it out by the roots.

A flurry of her fingers eradicated all the roots.

Then, turning her head back to Su Huanian with a proud lift of her chin, she boasted, “Watch this, Mother!”

She stuck the tree back into the earth and opened the red gourd, dripping a drop of emerald liquid at the base of the tree.

Before their very eyes, it visibly rejuvenated, its roots rapidly extending and growing.

The tree shot up dozens of feet, lush with leaves, blanketing a swath of the sky!

The tree even began to emit threads of Spiritual Power.

Ya Ya giggled mysteriously, “See, it’s a treasure!”

Laughing, she leaped up and punched the ground next to her, “Mother, lay down quickly, I’ll drip a little bit of the green liquid on you.

Do you mind if it’s a bit damp in the soil?

Do you want a box instead?”

Su Huanian was stunned.

While talking, Ya Ya’s fist crashed down to the earth.

In an instant, the ground split and the heavens shattered.

The entire earth trembled, and a crack appeared, revealing a stone carved door.

On either side of the door stood two stone carvings, the Azure Dragon on the left and the White Tiger on the right, with Xuan Wu represented on the lintel above, and Vermilion Bird underfoot.

There was a stele outside the door, inscribed with two characters that nobody recognized, but a single glance conveyed their meaning: “Evil-Suppressing”!

Ya Ya was momentarily dumbfounded, glancing back and forth between the Evil-suppressing Tao Palace and her little fist, unable to understand how one punch could unveil an underground palace.

The Dragon Turtle, is it really that powerful?

Her eyes shimmering brightly, she turned her gaze to the nearby ground again.
