Don’t Mess with that Turtle -
Chapter 303 - 303 35 True·Little Turtle_3
303: Chapter 35 True·Little Turtle_3 303: Chapter 35 True·Little Turtle_3 What a pity, such a prime subject for research.
He looked towards Feng Si and Green Thunder, “Do the two seniors know what race Feng Yi Ju belongs to?
Its Primordial Spirit has a single horn, and it can still be reborn even after its Life Bound Star has shattered.”
On his way here, he had scoured all the race introductions in his mind and still couldn’t figure this out; he was, after all, the Xuan Tian Sect Leader, and there were few secrets in the All Heavens and Myriad Realms that he didn’t know.
If the Sealed Emperor’s Palace truly had such capabilities, it would be impossible for him not to be aware of them.
“Having a horn, rebirth, could it be the Yuan Sovereign Clan?” Green Thunder pondered for a moment before voicing his doubt.
Feng Si nodded and then shook his head.
“It sounds similar, but the Yuan Sovereign Clan was annihilated by the realms a million years ago; it’s impossible for any descendants to have survived.
However, we can start our investigation from this angle.
If there truly are remnants of the Yuan Sovereign, they must not be left alive.”
Green Thunder nodded; his Soul Beast had already dispersed orders to his own mermaids.
Qian Qianzi looked around and, not seeing Su He, inquired of Green Thunder, “Senior, where is Friend Su He?”
A plump little chick raised its wings high, “Fairy, I am here.”
Su He’s form changed, revealing his Dragon Turtle True Form.
A second form of a Divine God Beast?
Qian Qianzi dropped her jaw in shock.
But then she heard Su He ask, “Are Canchen Senior and the others still on their way here?”
These were seniors he had never met in reality whom he had known for only a short time.
Hearing of his need, they immediately set off through the vast worlds to come to his aid, for which Su He was extremely grateful.
Although they hadn’t fought together, the appropriate expressions of thanks were still necessary.
“They are crossing realms to come here, so it will take a bit more time; but with the speed of Predecessor of War Cultivation and Canchen Senior, they should be arriving soon.”
Su He nodded.
He did not know what would be appropriate as a token of gratitude; he had no accurate way to evaluate Heavenly Material Earthly Treasures, but he could ask Liu Ru about it later.
Liu Ru was in charge of all matters for Ji Feixue and was most adept at handling such things.
The Flying Boat slowly descended to the ground; several Big Ming King Demon Statues lay scattered at the foot of the mountain.
The group settled in the original spot to wait for Canchen and the War Cultivators, chatting freely and trivially but unknowingly starting to discuss the Dao.
Besides Su He and Qian Qianzi, everyone present was a top-tier Greater Power, belonging to different forces, walking different paths.
A slight collision sparked different sorts of fireworks.
Green Thunder and Feng Si had lived for countless tens of thousands of years and had a wealth of experience.
The thoughts of Human Cultivators were lively, and they had their own opinions.
Although it was the depth of winter, covered in white snow, the fragrance of flowers began to spread.
As the Dao was discussed, anomalies appeared; the snow melted, mountain flowers blossomed profusely; the sound of the Dao echoed, among which fairies danced, and spirit beasts glided gracefully…
Even Qian Qianzi, who was as serious as Stepping Sky Three-fold, had a vast amount of cultivation knowledge.
Despite not being able to contribute to the conversation, she listened intently, utterly enchanted.
Only Su He, blinded by ignorance, understood nothing at all.
The more he listened, the heavier his eyelids grew until, at some point, he fell into a deep sleep.
In his slumber, the body of the Dragon Turtle unknowingly transformed into a young peacock, and with a light flap of her wings, Feng Si’s vital force landed on him.
Having just passed the Heavenly Tribulation, although he hadn’t directly faced the tribulation, his body was reacting truthfully, ready to start growing crazily.
He needed a good long sleep.
…
He didn’t know how long he had slept, but Su He was awakened by a loud explosion, only to see Canchen Taoist standing in front of a deep crater, his face full of embarrassment!
They had arrived one by one on the second day after the Dao discussion began, failing to engage in battle but instead participating in a top-tier Dao discussing conference.
Time passed day by day as they discussed the Dao.
That day, in the midst of discussing the Dao, Canchen Taoist became so excited that he decided to demonstrate personally.
Yet as soon as he touched it, the Immortal Sword used for the demonstration exploded with a bang.
He looked at the others innocently, not willing to take the blame for this one—it wasn’t his sword that had been forged!
Su He opened his eyes, shook his head a bit to clear it, and noticed that beside him, in a garb of white clothes, Su Huanian had awoken at some unknown point.
His complexion was much improved as he sat quietly listening to everyone discussing.
Noticing Su He’s awakening, he turned to him with a light laugh, “You’ve woken up at just the right time, Ya Ya is about to hatch.”
Su He looked towards the massive egg beside her, and sure enough, the vital energy within the egg was thriving, signaling an imminent hatching.
“How long have I slept?” Su He asked quietly.
Su Huanian thought for a moment, “More than two months, I guess!”
One sleep for two months, he had slept as long as one might hibernate—a Divine God Beast’s slumber was indeed this forgetful.
Time here was worthless.
During those two months, Su He’s Peacock True Body had shed its plump and nondescript appearance, now possessing somewhat of the majesty of a little peacock.
As they were talking, a crisp sound of an eggshell breaking was heard beside them.
Everyone turned their heads to see the giant egg wriggle, a crack forming, and then it became motionless once again.
The cultivators all around had excellent patience, and they could sense the vigorous life force within the egg, so they waited patiently.
The only two with somewhat rapid breaths were Su He and Qing Lei.
The crack in the eggshell released a scent, the Dragon Turtle Qi…
quite strong!
The Divine God Beast’s eggshell was like a sealing, shielding everything from view.
This was a protective measure for the creature inside the egg—forcibly breaking it and delving with Divine Sense would surely harm the living being within.
After forming a crack, the giant egg fell into calmness—until two days later, breaking sounds were heard once more.
“Crack!”
A fissure appeared, intersecting with the original crack, twisting into a cross shape.
Following that, the eggshell moved, pushing the crack open to form an opening.
And then—a small and adorable dragon head poked out.
It let out a milky squawk and then came the forepaws, the Turtle Shell…
The Dragon Turtle Qi was no longer hidden, but washed over them all.
The Turtle Shell was less than three feet in diameter, merely the size of a single person’s desk, dark in color, but the seams of the Turtle Shell and where scales joined, bursts of blue light emerged, with lightning zigzagging through.
It bore a resemblance to Qing Lei.
Dragon Turtle—Nameless!
Looking at the little turtle, his mind instantly projected a name for the little one, only to find it empty!
It wasn’t that he couldn’t project a name, but rather the little turtle did not yet have a name of its own!
Qing Lei let out a roar towards the sky and burst into hearty laughter.
Before entering the egg, it was a person with Dragon Turtle blood lineage; after gestating inside the egg for two months, it not only merged with Su He’s father’s Origin but also absorbed the bloodline left within the egg by White Spirit.
This little girl had hatched as a Dragon Turtle.
A Pure Blood Dragon Turtle!
A true Dragon Turtle!
The sky was crisscrossed with thunder and lightning, falling like rain.
The heaven and earth rejoiced at the birth of another little Dragon Turtle.
The little Dragon Turtle crawled out, looking at the delighted Su He and Qing Lei, then at the astonished Su Huanian, it cried out, took a step, and in a flash, returned to the look of a three or four-year-old girl and jumped into Su Huanian’s arms.
She cried out joyfully, “Mommy, mommy, I can turn into a turtle now!”
When she transformed into human form, the Dragon Turtle Qi disappeared, and Qing Lei, who was in the midst of wild laughter and roars, abruptly stopped, as if there was a thorn stuck in his throat that he couldn’t spit out.
A perfectly fine little Dragon Turtle, why did it have a human form?
In that moment, he deeply understood the conflicted expression that Feng Si had displayed.
