Don’t Mess with that Turtle -
Chapter 278 - 278 24 Do you want to live together_2
278: Chapter 24 Do you want to live together?_2 278: Chapter 24 Do you want to live together?_2 The Camel’s memory was still intact, and retracing it, he naturally knew everything.
Retrospection wasn’t Divine Skills, just a Magic skill; to transform it into Divine Skills, one still needed to cultivate diligently, consolidating a Divine Skills seed.
If one could train it to the utmost, it might even become an inherited Divine Skills, branded inside the left eye of the Heritage Dragon Turtle.
Just like the Gluttonous Eating Method was originally a Magic skill.
But White Spirit turned it into Divine Skills by training it to perfection; when Su He received the inheritance, it had already become Divine Skills.
Su He pulled down a fire-based Magic skill, while the Toad pulled down retrospection.
The dice fell, showing two dots.
After a slight attempt, it was a pity that it was only a cultivation speed ×2, not an increase in power.
Opening his eyes, the Flying Boat had already reached the sky above the small world.
The Toad was facing the Camel eye to eye.
The Camel, with a face full of horror, looked at the Toad and then at the seal on Su He’s forehead, unable to comprehend how such a big Toad had managed to get in and out of the Dragon Turtle’s brow.
Both Camel ears twisted as it covered its own forehead, fearing the Toad might come a step closer.
The Toad, however, was eyeing the Camel with a gleam in its eyes.
Exotic Beast!
A two Xuan Moon!
It looks to be highly intelligent.
If they succumb to it in the Hundred Beast Kingdom, it would wield the highest combat power in the country, even a rebellion to ascend to kingship wouldn’t be impossible!
The Flying Boat landed and retracted into External Space, with Su He climbing to the little world first, while the Toad, waving its hand towards the Camel, said, “Come on, Frog Lord will show you around.”
The Camel instinctively stepped back two paces, distancing itself a few feet from the Toad, walking on the other side of Su He.
After being away for more than half a year, the small world within had changed drastically.
With seas and mountains, there was wind blowing.
When Su He had left, this realm was silent, without the flow of wind.
The only air came stolen from the White Spirit Small World.
The Mermaids hadn’t been lazy.
Seeing Su He’s return, the Mermaids immediately put down their work and paid their respects from afar.
The Sacrificial Long Min and the Clan Leader came over with Chou Nu’er and Yu Zhu’er.
After a series of cumbersome rituals, Su He finally entered the White Spirit Small World.
Upon entering, he saw Feng Yaya beating an Exotic Beast, furiously walloping a leopard with a tree branch and shouting.
“You bite me!
You bite me!
I’ve been transformed into a beast for only half a year, and I died again!”
Feng Yaya was so angry that she stomped her feet.
The Black Ape was originally killed by a leopard, reborn as a White Monkey only to be killed by a leopard again.
What infuriated her was that, after consuming Pill Medicine to transform, the Transforming Beast lost all memory and lacked any combat consciousness, left only with the instincts of a Little White Ape.
When attacked by the leopard, not even escape was an option.
Both Su Huanian and the Green Snake Divine God looked too upset; it wasn’t possible to eliminate all enemies, and a Transforming Beast without foes couldn’t possibly succeed.
The leopard had only injured Little White slightly, and it wasn’t a fatal injury, but Little White had died regardless.
Feng Yaya didn’t have much time left; a year had been wasted just like that, not even completing the first step of transformation, let alone the many steps that followed.
The outlook was not optimistic.
Hearing a noise behind them, everyone turned around.
Feng Yaya called out with surprise, “Big Turtle!” Her cry was followed immediately by a sense of grievance as she rushed to Su He’s side with the leopard in tow: “It bit me!”
Su He’s expression was grim; Ya Ya had suffered a transformation failure and was hunted midway.
With a breath, he froze the leopard in ice.
He comforted Feng Yaya, “It’s okay, I’ve brought you a treasure.”
From his External Space, two large masses of Pure Stalactite floated out.
It had been one mass initially, split by Su He.
One half, already refined of Dragon Qi, was Pure Stalactite, capable of delaying the dissipation of Origin, extending Feng Yaya’s lifespan.
The other half had not been completely refined when interrupted by Bifang, and after that, Su He fell unconscious.
Upon waking, the quality of that half of the stalactite had greatly diminished.
Su He had been worried there wouldn’t be enough stalactite.
After recovering for half a month in Yunmeng Ze, Su He was robbed by a Two-star water beast, but when he snatched it back, he had more.
Su Huanian fixed her gaze on the two masses of stalactite, her eyes twinkling, her body slightly trembling, and she murmured, “Pure Stalactite…”
She had seen such a thing before; it had appeared once at an auction in the Tian Xing Palace, where even a droplet was sold at an exorbitant price.
That was just one drop; what the Dragon Turtle brought back was, however, measured by masses, more than a hundredfold.
She looked at Su He, stars glittering in her eyes.
With a light laugh, Su He said, “Use pine oil cypress to mix it, and let Ya Ya consume and refine it.
The excess can be used in medicinal baths to see if it’s effective.”
Su Huanian fell silent, her head slightly bowed, and after a moment, she lifted her face, smiling brightly, “Thank you!”
Su He chuckled, gazing at Su Huanian.
Su Huanian’s breath was unstable.
Su He furrowed her brows, “Are you injured?” In this small world, who could have hurt Su Huanian?
Su Huanian shook her head, “Not at all!”
She had merely forced herself to retrieve her past life memories, which caused her breath to become unstable.
However, she had gained a lot, and though she didn’t obtain a new Origin healing method, she did acquire many memories related to the Divine God Beast that Opening the Heaven.
She knew that the Dragon Turtle was making progress, its Dao foundation was solid, and the Opening Heaven Divine Artifact had already condensed by half; leaving Opening The Heaven was not far off, perhaps it could be used within a thousand years.
The timing of these memories was just right.
She looked at Su He and after a moment, her eyebrows slightly furrowed.
The Dragon Turtle Momentum was vast and the Power of the World was circulating around it.
“You’ve Opened The Heaven?” Su Huanian’s usually cool expression showed a few traces of being moved.
Su He nodded.
An accident!
Normally, Opening The Heaven could not be this quick.
The path of cultivation is not about speed; especially for beings like the Dragon Turtle with endless lifespans, each step should be thoroughly taken, no matter if it takes ten or a hundred times longer.
Her delicate hand reached out, touching the top of Su He’s head, and a thought probed in.
Su He did not stop her, leading her intention into the Boundary Pearl and into the Inner World.
After looking around, Su Huanian saw that the Dragon Turtle’s Inner World was immensely vast, with mountains and rivers, plains and deserts, all fragile yet with a solid foundation.
“A Divine God Beast that Opening The Heaven still has Earth Cloth?” she asked in surprise when she saw the membrane outside the Inner World.
“No!” Su He shook his head, “I am special.”
In the context of cultivation, the term ‘special’ is almost derogatory.
Out of ten thousand ‘special’ cases, hardly one would be in a positive direction.
“Can it still be restored?”
Su He chuckled lightly, “Don’t worry, it’s not bad.
It was done by White Spirit.”
White Spirit was his clan sister.
Su Huanian nodded, her intention withdrew from Su He’s body, and she spoke softly, “In cultivation, do not rely on others.
Still, you must take each step, leave your own print, and walk the path yourself.”
Cultivation is like building a mansion, moving someone else’s foundation may be stable, but it is not as good as building it brick by brick yourself.
“Thank you for the reminder, senior sister,” Su He nodded and gave thanks.
Su Huanian shook her head, “You have your own ideas; do not let mine influence you.” She extended her slender, jade-like finger and gently touched Su He’s forehead.
A thought merged in, from past life memories, records about a Divine God Beast that Open the Heavens.
The Dragon Turtles had their clans and naturally did not lack such guidance, but the observer’s perspective is clear, and viewing a Divine God Beast from the angle of an Immortal Sovereign could serve as a stone from other hills as a reference.
Next to them, Feng Ya Ya had already seen the Camel and ran over joyfully, jumping and hugging the Camel’s neck without waiting for the Toad to introduce, “Big Zhuang!
Big Zhuang!
I haven’t seen you in so long, did you miss me?”
The Camel was hopping around her.
Feng Ya Ya, touching the Camel, gestured all around, “Look, Big Zhuang!
This world, mine!
Here you don’t have to steal wine, I’ll have a monkey specially brew it for you if you want to drink!”
The Camel’s eyes widened in surprise and delight.
The atmosphere immediately became joyful.
Only the Toad in the distance, after staring dumbfounded, squatted in a corner drawing circles.
It had been thinking about the possibility of a rebellion but ended up delivering a great general to the Empress…
I…
After feeling dejected for a moment, it lifted its head again, considering this a great merit; with such credit, who else but I should be the left prime minister?!
The Toad was spirited.
Watching the happy Feng Ya Ya, Su Huanian smiled softly, then turned to Su He, “After Refining Pure Stalactite, I need to take Ya Ya out to become a Transforming Beast, and you?”
Having crossed the Heavenly Tribulation, to immediately Open The Heaven was too rushed; the Dragon Turtle needed to properly settle.
Su He thought for a moment, then looked towards Green Snake, “Would you like to cohabitate with me for a while?”
Green Snake was startled and then dumbfounded, uncertainly looking at Su Huanian.
But Su Huanian thought for a moment, and surprisingly enough, she approved, “That’s a good idea, it’s indeed necessary.”
Green Snake’s dumbfounded expression turned to one of stupefaction.
Behind Su He, the Spirit Snake began to condense.
Each time he cultivated, he felt as if only half was effective, as if a person exercised only half of their body.
However, he had absolutely no idea how to train the Spirit Snake Body.
Having Green Snake stay with him for a while to closely observe and try to learn should be greatly beneficial.
