Don’t Mess with that Turtle
Chapter 170 - 170 032 Su Huanian_1

170: Chapter 032 Su Huanian_1 170: Chapter 032 Su Huanian_1 The sword’s ring preceded the arrival of the man, and Feng Yi Ju’s eyes suddenly focused.

With his two fingers together, he circled in the air, and the petals of the sword case beside him opened like flowers.

Twelve Immortal Swords unsheathed at the same time, forming a sword wheel that spun towards the oncoming Immortal Sword.

Clang!

With a light collision, Su Huanian’s Immortal Sword rebounded, and the sword wheel rotated to circle around Feng Yi Ju, protecting his entire body.

Two Stepping Sky martial artists exchanged blows for the first time, with no exaggerated effects, just like Mortal Warriors clashing with swords, simple and unadorned.

Only the ringing of the swords, clear and bell-like, assaulted the East Cloud Million Miles Mountain and River.

Yet, the fact that the sound could penetrate the Door and enter the Dragon Turtle Mini-world signified the tremendous power of that sword clash.

Feng Yi Ju composed himself and held his breath without looking askance; even in his bout with Butler Wu, he had never been this serious.

Su Huanian was only at Stepping Sky’s Second Step of the Star Life Realm, one level below him, but having been in the same sect for three hundred years, only he truly understood how fearsome Su Huanian was.

Some individuals are inherently unrestrained by mere levels of cultivation.

Su Huanian was one of those people.

Feng Yi Ju grew even more cautious.

Snowflakes fell on East Cloud Mountain.

It was just the start of autumn, at the height of the heat, but snowflakes fluttered down, landing on flowers and instantly freezing them.

Feng Yi Ju’s eyes narrowed, his demeanor grew even more solemn—Su Huanian’s Domain!

One flake, two flakes, three, four flakes…

Suddenly they swarmed, and in an instant, it was a blizzard.

The wind picked up, the snow danced.

Standing in the midst of the heavy snow, Feng Yi Ju felt as if he and the entire world were cleaved apart, as though he had entered someone else’s Cave World.

But that wasn’t the case.

No one would casually pull another into their own Cave World, as harming it would be like injuring oneself.

Facing an expert, it would be a suicidal move.

Just like Mu Tung of Xuan Tian Gate Steps Heaven.

A Domain possesses the capabilities of a Cave World without its weaknesses.

Feng Yi Ju’s second sword of the universe couldn’t slash through a Domain—the Wind and Snow Domain was still within the Mystery Huang World.

To slash through the Wind and Snow Domain would be to slash through the Mystery Huang World itself.

How could it possibly be split open?

In the swirling wind and returning snow, a Fairy descended with the wind, her white clothes denoting a remarkable charisma.

The Immortal Sword let out a light ring, water beads dancing on its blade.

She watched Feng Yi Ju quietly, like the cold moon in the clear autumn sky.

Feng Yi Ju gazed at her, his eyes landing on the streak of white hair fluttering by Su Huanian’s temples, his gaze slightly heavy.

He did not speak, but with a pointing gesture and a hum of the sword, three Immortal Swords shot towards Su Huanian at once.

Su Huanian twirled his Immortal Sword, bringing up a gust of snow.

Within the snow, specks of starlight emerged, transforming into three streaks of starlight aiming at the three Immortal Swords.

This was the Tian Xing Palace’s Polar Night!

It was ironic that the proud son of Qingyuan Gate did not use Qingyuan Swordsmanship.

As the Qingyuan Master, immersed in the Qingyuan Swordsmanship for hundreds of years, Feng Yi Ju had no advantage over Su Huanian using Qingyuan Swordsmanship.

As the starlight was emitted, Su Huanian followed through, thrusting a sword through the air towards an empty space in front of him.

Yet, the Immortal Sword came from behind Feng Yi Ju.

This thrust pierced through space itself, aimed directly at Feng Yi Ju’s back.

Feng Yi Ju shifted abruptly, his figure flickering and dashing through space to evade, but the sword followed like a shadow.

No escape!

Fighting within Su Huanian’s Domain was far too disadvantageous.

His Divine Sense couldn’t extend, and he was handicapped at every turn.

“Open!”

With a low shout from Feng Yi Ju, just in the nick of time, a sword came hurtling, not attacking Su Huanian but instead slashing at himself.

It exploded upon impact, disrupting the space around Feng Yi Ju.

The space torn apart by Su Huanian’s stab crumbled in turn.

A probing strike by Su Huanian was not his full strength, but he was certain that the Domain was still effective against Feng Yi Ju.

Feng Yi Ju frowned, the twelve Immortal Swords hovered behind him as he sensed the surrounding wind and snow.

Sword Qi entwined around each snowflake, ready to transform into an Immortal Sword that could tear open the heavens and plunge directly to the core.

He had to break the Domain, or he would be at too great a disadvantage.

A Domain is a splendid thing!

Su He roared, forcibly severing the connection between the Domain and the Door.

His presence on the Door had already become so dense that it could not dissipate.

Without needing the Domain or its might to unfold, Su He could directly see this Door, even hearing the sounds from East Cloud Mountain through it.

The wind and snow raged on.

This Door had nearly solidified; even others within Su He’s Domain could see it, and if Su He allowed, they could even pass through it.

The Toad appeared from the small island, landing beside Su He and staring through bulging eyes at the Door, transfixed by the wind and snow world beyond it.

“Is it winter outside now?”

The Toad asked in bewilderment, only to refute its own question: “No, this must be a scene from a battle between Greater Powers.

Who would fight right at somebody else’s doorstep, with no regard for public decency?”

It had been sleeping comfortably in front of Feng Yaya only moments ago when it sensed the rising aura of the Dragon Turtle in the Mini-world and flickered over to see the Dragon Turtle clad in White Jade armor, even the Door taking shape.

But with a Greater Power battling outside, how could the Toad dare venture forth?

“Ya Ya’s parents,” Su He said as he looked outside at the beautiful figure in response.

Madness?!

This scene was shaping up to be a fight to the death.

Couldn’t you consider your child when you’re fighting…

The Toad paused, “Whose Origin was taken from Ya Ya?”

It wasn’t a foolish Toad and had a rough guess of the situation.

“Was it that man?” That man looked refined and extraordinary, clearly no good; whereas the Fairy, naturally beautiful, was undoubtedly a kind soul.

Outside, the snow danced like a flurry of swords, each a killing intent emanating decisively.

Feng Yi Ju’s twelve Immortal Swords encircled him, untouched by the snow.

It was a pity that the Qingyuan Array Flags could not be reclaimed to form a Qingyuan Formation to surround the Mountain Souls; otherwise, he would have his own Domain, potentially even stronger.

Those were the results of sacrifices and inheritances made by the Qingyuan elders over generations.

Feng Yi Ju pushed back Su Huanian with a sword, pointed with his halberd, and with a light shout, commanded, “Collapse!”

Two Immortal Swords soared into the sky, flying out to the left and right, extending beyond the domain.

In an instant, they turned back, piercing through space and heading straight for Feng Yi Ju.

They collided above his head and exploded with a loud bang.

The fierce explosion blew open a vacuum in the snowstorm, and the residual force from the explosion unabatedly pressed down on Feng Yi Ju’s head.

However, he was prepared.

With a twist of the Sword Box, he absorbed the residual force and struck the Sword Box towards Su Huanian.

Clutching the Immortal Sword, Su Huanian stood at the entrance, her towering figure flickering like swirling snow.

In an instant, Fairies filled the sky and land, all thrusting their swords forward simultaneously.

The tip of the sword collided with the Sword Box.

“Boom!”

A muffled explosion, and the Sword Box suddenly burst open.

Inside, in addition to the explosion of the two Immortal Swords, hid a pure land sword.

The shockwave from the explosion did not attack Su Huanian but instead struck the pure land sword, which instantly became covered with cracks.

Then, Su Huanian slashed with her sword, and the cold Sword Qi bombarded it.

The pure land sword instantly exploded into powder, which was scattered by the wind and snow.

Su Huanian felt her control over the domain weaken momentarily.

The pure land sword, capable of cutting through earth, water, wind, and fire, was originally the foundation of a world’s construction.

Feng Yi Ju had it exploded and deliberately used Su Huanian’s Sword Qi as a catalyst, in an instant, attaching a speck of pure land dust onto each snowflake.

Using the pure land sword dust to vie for Su Huanian’s domain.

The entire scene within the domain reflected in Feng Yi Ju’s mind.

With the feedback from the domain, Su Huanian, realizing her strike went awry, immediately abandoned the domain and transformed into a beam of starlight, lunging straight at him.

The Sword Cultivators of the Sword Washing Pool have always been straightforward.

Having suppressed Su Huanian’s domain, Feng Yi Ju no longer needed to take hits from all sides.

Lifting his sword to meet her, he unleashed Sword Qi that swallowed and pressed against Su Huanian.

In an instant, they drew close, and a flicker of fear appeared in Su Huanian’s eyes.

Not good!

Such an expression would never grace the face of the mighty Su Fairy, not even in the face of death!

It was a fake!

Feng Yi Ju abruptly halted his movement, but it was already too late.

A pain pierced his chest as an Immortal Sword thrust through from behind, penetrating his body.

A stream of blood spurted out.

Turning his head, he saw another Su Huanian behind him, her gaze icy cold.

She flicked and dragged upon the sword, pulling the Immortal Sword out, with a clump of essence on the blade.

This was the real Su Huanian.

Then, who was the one in front…?

The Su Huanian in front of him burst into a Green Bird with a pop, flapping its wings and chirping, “Scared to death, scared to death!”

For a moment there, it really thought it was going to die!

Having succeeded with her strike, Su Huanian immediately retreated.

With a flick of her jade finger, the essence on the sword merged into a ball of water, which she flicked towards the Green Bird.

The Green Bird opened its beak and swallowed the essence in one gulp.

This was Feng Yaya’s Origin.

Feng Yi Ju shook his head with a light chuckle, wondering if being a mother made one so terrifying?

Even Su Huanian resorted to schemes now.

Su Huanian had intentionally fallen into the trap, allowing him to seize control of the domain.

After all, how could she trust the images fed back from a domain that was not taken by her own hand?

How could Su Huanian, right in front of him, conceal herself and hide behind him so brazenly?

Su Huanian did not care if the domain was destroyed; from beginning to end, her only goal was to retrieve her daughter’s Origin!

“Sorry, I can’t return it to you for now,” Feng Yi Ju said to her, his first words since their encounter.

He still needed Feng Yaya’s Origin, and he promised to return it later.

With a backward gesture, forty-nine Qingyuan Array Flags instantly flew in, forming a Tai Chi Diagram, suppressing the four directions and enveloping the wintry domain.

Although he had been tricked, the pure land sword dust that was truly on each snowflake was no longer a concern.

He ceased to try seizing the domain, using it only to restrict, which shouldn’t be a problem.

Su Huanian watched him calmly, her red lips slightly parting, “You do not understand the domain.”

The reason it is called a domain is because it is exclusive to its owner; each person’s domain is unique.

The existence of a domain relates not only to one’s cultivation technique and attributes but changes with the mindset of the individual.

Whenever a person undergoes significant emotional changes, the attributes of their domain often change accordingly.

With Feng Yaya encountering great peril, how could Su Huanian’s domain remain unchanged, still the old wintry domain?

Feng Yi Ju’s expression changed slightly as he watched Su Huanian stand amidst the wind and snow, her hair dancing in the wind.

Suddenly, the surrounding snowflakes transformed, melting into droplets that pitter-pattered to the ground.

In an instant, it was pouring rain.

The pure land sword dust clinging to the snowflakes was washed away like trash in the rainwater.

“Let’s go!” Su Huanian whispered.

The Green Bird spread its wings and took off, transforming into a green streak, attempting to escape.

However, before it could fly out, the Formation Flags rolled up, and each spat out a Golden Pagoda.

Each Golden Pagoda had a coin jumping on it, shooting out screens of light that formed a barrier.

The Green Bird crashed into it and was bounced back.

It landed back on the ground.

Su Huanian’s eyebrows slightly furrowed.

She was familiar with the Golden Pagodas, but she had never seen the coins before.

Feng Yi Ju shook his head, “You can’t get away.

I still have use for the Origin, and I will surely return it to Ya Ya later.

For now, please give it back,” he said as he swept the Formation Flags.

The Tai Chi Yin-Yang isolated Su Huanian and him.

He reached out to grab the Green Bird.

The Green Bird screeched and turned to flee.

But it was blocked by one of the Formation Flags.

Just as it was at a loss, a thunderous roar suddenly echoed from the Door of Three Lives, and a pure white jade Dragon Head protruded, unleashing a mighty roar.

“Roar!”

Boosted by the White Jade Turtle Shell and consuming high-quality Turtle Essence Condensate, this was Su He’s most powerful Divine Might in her life.

The Divine Might concentrated and not scattered, charged straight for Feng Yi Ju.

Having roared, Su He did not wait to see the effects; she turned and bit the Green Bird, instantly retreating back into the Door of Three Lives.
