Don’t Mess with that Turtle
Chapter 128 - 128 001 Peace_1

128: Chapter 001 Peace_1 128: Chapter 001 Peace_1 The giant lizard sprawled by the water’s edge, its mouth wide open as it constantly shifted direction, allowing the seawater to rinse its oral cavity.

Its breath was too foul, and the things it captured were too repulsive for Su He to even consider eating.

The giant lizard’s eyes were full of grievance, having endured three beatings before understanding that the ugly turtle wanted it to brush its teeth.

Poor lizard.

Since hatching from its egg, it had known the importance of maintaining an unclean mouth; unfortunately, the turtle was unreasonable.

Waves rolled in, hitting the giant lizard and forcing it to close its eyes.

At its center, a circle of poison extended outward, filled with dead fish.

The stench grew even stronger.

Su He opened his eyes from his meditative state, his face instantly lined with black streaks, as bolts of lightning chased the giant lizard, driving it back into the forest.

Indeed, the beastly nature of exotic beasts was profound; even a Four-star Exotic Beast couldn’t escape its instincts.

Its mouth was beyond saving.

Today’s meal would have to rely on Feng Yaya.

Across the grassland beyond the ten-mile forest, Feng Yaya was riding a wild boar, with an exotic beast’s leg bone in hand, charging toward the enemy like a little wildling from a tribe.

In front of her was a pack of thirty wolves, organized and fiercely eying her.

“Charge!” Feng Yaya screamed, her face a mask of tragic determination as she and her pig charged into the midst of the enemies, showing the spirit of one facing a mighty army without fear.

The bone club whirled, the wolf pack howled in pain, and Feng Yaya charged in and out seven times, her actions stirring the heart.

The pig was Feng Yaya’s mount, caught only yesterday.

Initially meant to be roasted and eaten, the pig’s pleading was so expressive that Feng Yaya was swayed by it.

Thus, it went from food to mount, performing well so far by meeting Feng Yaya’s demands.

Except for the uncomfortable prickling in her legs while riding, it was fine.

Too bad she wasn’t in Qingyuan anymore; no one there could craft a saddle for her pig.

Luckily, she wasn’t in Qingyuan.

Feng Yaya didn’t feel the constant nagging pressure anymore and was completely free to play unrestrainedly.

Su He exhaled a breath of turbid air, and his spiritual power returned to his Mind Orifice.

Striving to stretch lazily, he crawled to the water’s edge by the forest and observed carefully.

There were two small ponds, about twenty square meters each, filled with seawater and various fish left behind by the high tide.

Now, in each pond, one held a single octopus, the other a blowfish.

The same madness, the same bloody brutality.

This pill was not a good pill!

Su He was experimenting.

That day, when Ge Hong had him under a thumb, he had snatched a Stepping Sky Realm severed hand clutching a Pill Medicine.

The hand, placed in the External Space, showed no changes, but the Pill Medicine scored a critical hit, rolling a six on the dice.

Now, six pills lay quietly within the External Space.

Su He dared not use them rashly and chose to experiment on fish first.

He didn’t have the heart to feed the fish directly, only dipping the Pill Medicine in the pond water, which then drove the fish into a frenzy.

After a half-day of fighting, both ponds were left with only one survivor each.

Su He pressed the Pill Medicine to the bottom layer of the External Space and refrained from touching it again.

And as for that hand, it was too precious to throw away, but he didn’t know what to do with it.

Eating it was out of the question; setting aside whether Su He would eat turtles or humans, the imposing Stepping Sky Realm aura prevented him from approaching it.

With Feng Yaya still in the wild, there was nothing on the island that could threaten her.

Su He plunged into the sea and swam towards the ocean floor.

The surface water’s Yuan Spirit Power was only slightly better than that of Tinghai Lake before the Formation was set up, but the ocean floor was a paradise for water alien beasts.

Here, the Yuan Spirit Power was different from that in Tinghai Lake—richer, denser, and more majestic.

Inexhaustible.

Su He found a comfortable spot, with sunlight refracting above him and seagrass swaying at his side, while colorful corals branched out and a variety of fish and crabs chased each other.

Su He realized that the creatures here didn’t fear him as those in Tinghai Lake did.

Since beginning to condense Dragon Turtle True Blood, fewer and fewer beasts approached him in Tinghai Lake.

The beasts here seem so foolish, not afraid of him at all.

At first, he thought there must be similar creatures here, accustomed to the aura of a Divine God Beast, but after much investigation, he discovered nothing.

He asked several Exotic Beasts, but got no explanation.

He could only conclude that this was a peculiarity of this region.

He closed his eyes to inspect his inner state and looked at the Bright Mirror:

Status: In heat

Boundary Status: Offering Bones

Dragon Turtle True Blood: 89.9%

Melting Point: 429

Offering Bones: 6%

Internal Organs: 6%

There are still flaws in this Bright Mirror, as it constantly shows that he is in heat, which is simply nonsense.

It’s been a long time since Su He had even a spring dream.

The increase in the Dragon Turtle True Blood had slowed, but the progress of the Offering Bones had picked up.

Since coming out of the Xuanqing Pure Viewing Illusion Domain, Su He had found that all 429 of his orifices had opened.

His Boundary Status had also changed to “Offering Bones.” His Spiritual Power was circulating much faster, and the progress in Offering Bones was changing every day.

In the Shedding Mortality Realm, Offering Bones was the fifth step.

Su He guessed that it was also the most important step for him, where a cultivator completes the Tao Rhythm transformation of blood, flesh, and bone, and the entire body contains Tao Rhythm which qualifies one as a True Person.

For Su He, this step would probably involve transforming all his blood, flesh, and bones into those of a purebred Dragon Turtle.

This was the most important step in advancement.

He wasn’t far from becoming a true Divine God Beast Dragon Turtle.

Su He closed his eyes and gently inhaled and exhaled seawater, drawing in the Water Yuan Spirit Power as his True Blood flowed through his body, seeping into his bones bit by bit, from the Turtle Shell ribs to his limbs, and then circulating back to his internal organs.

This was a slow and gradual process, not to be rushed.

There were no shortcuts, unless one had a genius treasure or even Dragon Turtle Essence Blood—if Su He were a peacock, that drop of Peacock Blood Essence would be able to help him complete this step of cultivation in an extremely short time.

As the sky gradually darkened and the full moon rose, Su He slowly awoke and opened his eyes.

The underwater scenery at night was even more enchanting, especially when his vision could penetrate the darkness and see in the night, he found the depths mesmerizingly beautiful.

Moving his tail, Su He swam to the surface where the full moon hung high above the rolling waves.

There was the sound of a whale’s call in the distance, and a waterspout shot up from the surface of the sea, only to crash back down again.

In his two lifetimes, this was the first time Su He had seen a whale, and in fact, the first time he’d seen the sea.

The vast ocean stretched to the horizon, quiet yet full of lively creatures, such as dolphins leaping out of the water, cheerfully calling as they swam away into the distance.

Su He turned around only to notice two barnacles had somehow attached themselves to his Turtle Shell.

Such audacity!

He glanced at the island.

Ya Ya was lying in a patch of grass, motionless with bated breath.

Ten yards in front of her, a wild pig lay on the ground, squealing ceaselessly.

A tiger emerged, crawling forward and made a sudden dash for the pig, its jaws wide open.

Just then, Ya Ya leaped up like a Heavenly Divine God descending from the sky, and punched the tiger right on the forehead.

The tiger fell to the ground, and the wild pig sprang up, backing away several yards panting heavily, looking utterly terrified as it grunted reproachfully at Ya Ya for being too late to strike, nearly turning from bait into prey.

“Eh!

Coward!” Ya Ya mocked it with a laugh, dragging the tiger out of the forest.

Several bonfires were burning outside the woods—each had a grill with octopus and wild wolves being roasted, and now a tiger was added to the mix.

It seemed a bit wasteful.

The Giant Lizard lay sprawled out nearby, looking like it had just been thrashed.

The creature never learned its lesson, always thinking it could bully the smaller Ya Ya, and every time it tried to swallow her whole, it ended up looking dejected after a beating.

When Ya Ya saw Su He from a distance, she waved and shouted, “Big Turtle, come and eat some meat!”

The sea breeze scattered her voice, yet Su He could still hear her loud and clear.
