Don't confiscate my identity as a human race
Chapter 1529 867: Lanci and Talia Want to Bring Past Memories into the Tombstone_2

Lanci waved his hand repeatedly.

This natural way Migaya regarded him as a brother-in-law felt awkward to him.

Yet Migaya seemed to take pleasure in observing his reactions, occasionally with a barely noticeable smile, whether it was because Migaya naturally loved to laugh or was trying to suppress a grin.

"Next time if Lockins dares to talk to you like that, I'll call you brother-in-law right on the spot, proving you're also part of the Alansar Family, and let's see if he still dares to be arrogant to you."

Migaya planned proudly.

"No, please."

Lanci was about to object when he felt Talia's icy gaze.

It seemed she wouldn't permit Lanci to deny the title of brother-in-law.

"Then I'll tell Lockins that you are my family's son-in-law, and he shouldn't dare to provoke you either."

Migaya spoke with perceived understanding, waiting for Lanci's response.

"..."

Lanci glanced at Migaya, then at Talia.

He felt as if Migaya was sending him to a death trap with just a few words.

Cat Boss's mind raced quickly, suddenly realizing that Migaya was toying with Lanci like a femme fatale.

Now that Migaya had sanctioned Lanci and Hyperion's marriage, this was a rare opportunity.

If he accepted now, Talia would be upset; if he denied it now, Migaya might not agree to Lanci and Hyperion's marriage later as a guardian.

The Duke might be testing Lanci, his future son-in-law or brother-in-law, or maybe he just liked to tease people, or simply enjoyed watching the chaos.

"Why can't one be both a son-in-law and a brother-in-law?"

Isatia raised her hand to ask, not understanding.

The other three and the cat looked at her, falling into silence.

"Talia, call me mom, then you and Hyperion can be sisters, and everyone will be happy."

Isatia turned to Talia, lightly coughed, and proposed with a mock elder's demeanor.

"Isatia, you're rebellious!"

Talia's brain first froze, then she wanted to grab Isatia to give her rebellious sister a lesson.

"Wow, sister, don't hit me!"

Isatia ran holding the cat.

"Meow! Isatia, don't run so fast, meow!"

Cat Boss felt like it was on a roller coaster, being taken around the old streets of Huadu by Isatia.

"Sigh."

Lanci watched the Demon Race princess sisters running farther and farther, feeling like the Demon Race was truly finished.

Whether the country could be restored didn't really matter anymore.

"Anyway, whether as a brother-in-law or a son-in-law, we're all a family. The Alansar Family relies on you; now being able to reunite depends on you. Although speaking strictly, you're now my big support, but if you want the Duke's house to be your support, I'd be very happy too."

Migaya smiled as he continued walking forward.

He actually appreciated Lanci more and more, only sometimes he couldn't help but tease him a little.

Since the hotel wasn't too far from South Bank Nigel's office, Lanci and Tata weren't in a particular hurry to go.

Nigel was originally supposed to meet with Lanci and Tata immediately, but knowing how busy Nigel was with official duties, coming to meet them would certainly delay some urgent work, thus they rescheduled for a later time with Nigel.

Lanci and Talia were on vacation anyway, planning to linger in Huadu for a couple of days, so they weren't in a rush.

After heading out today, they followed Migaya and Isatia, both regulars of Huadu, to stroll towards the bustling district on the North Shore.

Flower Capital Pariel, being a melting pot of cultures, had an endless array of Poseen Kingdom's traditional arts and delicacies in bustling districts both on the South Bank and North Shore, influenced by the Posen Demon Realm and cultures worldwide.

The city's theaters, art galleries, museums, and concert halls bore witness to this cultural fusion. Among them, many cafes and bookstores, often seen in literary scenes, were once workplaces of Poseen's famous writers and thinkers; last time Lanci and Talia came to Parriet, they couldn't visit the most famous spots.

"Where are you planning to go today, Duke Migaya?"

Lanci and Migaya strolled leisurely behind.

They could no longer see where the bustling sister duo had run off to.

But after a while, they'd naturally return.

"We plan to give Aitio a surprise; she definitely wouldn't expect us all to be back."

Migaya told Lanci.

On the train, Isatia had already discussed with him the long-overdue plan for a tour around Huadu, with the first stop naturally to find Aitio in district 9 of the Posen Demon Realm.

"To her, you two are indeed like teachers and sisters; when chatting, she couldn't stop talking about the two of you."

Lanci recalled Aitio, who got along well with Rosalinda and Talia.

When he visited Baptiste's Mansion, the three of them were having a girls' gathering.

"Didn't you and Talia plan how to spend today at all?"

Migaya and Lanci continued, with their surroundings constantly changing.

Lanci just shook his head.

"Are you two really not going on a date?"

Isatia suddenly popped up from behind, patting Lanci and Migaya on their backs, startling them to a stumble forward.

Turning around, they realized the sister duo had run a full circle around the block, ending up behind them.

"No, today we have our own plans."

Lanci and the returning Talia both denied in unison.

To say they hadn't discussed how to spend today in Huadu would be a lie.
