Chapter 520: Chapter 519: Accompany Me
"But..." Cherish Turner said with grievance and anxiety in a soft voice, "but I’m scared..."
William Griffith held the back of her head, pressing it toward his own shoulder, and spoke heavily, hypnotizing her over and over again, "Cherish, don’t be afraid of me. Don’t be afraid."
Did he cast a spell? Her fear gradually subsided a bit.
"Give you half an hour. Then we go out."
What a domineering person! Cherish Turner frowned and reluctantly muttered her agreement.
For a moment, William Griffith pulled her tightly into his arms before releasing her. He shifted his body to the side, and the weight on her lightened. She immediately jumped out of bed, dashed out of the room without looking back, and opened the door. William Griffith looked in the direction she ran off to, his eyes tightened, and he had no choice but to go to the bathroom.
Although she agreed to half an hour, Cherish Turner still didn’t go downstairs. It wasn’t until someone knocked on the door that she reluctantly opened it. She only poked her head out, still hiding behind the door, and looked at him with wide eyes.
"Didn’t you promise half an hour?" William Griffith’s tall stature blocked the entrance, looking down at her and questioning her discontentedly.
It was like a deal between two people. Since she didn’t keep her word, he knew he wouldn’t have kept his either.
Cherish Turner felt awkward, her voice even softer, "It took me a while to get dressed."
It was an awkward reason, even she felt it was too weak.
William Griffith gave her a cold glare, and with a sudden shove, he easily pushed the door open. Cherish Turner couldn’t resist his power and had to take two steps back. His gaze swept over her small but very clean and tidy room, then he grabbed her hand and turned to say, "Let’s go."
"Wait, my bag." Cherish Turner quickly reached for her backpack, not forgetting to close the door behind her.
They took the elevator downstairs, and William Griffith led her by the hand to the parking lot to get the car. Once inside the car, his hands clutched the steering wheel, he stepped on the accelerator and drove towards the exit.
Cherish Turner hugged her bag with both hands and couldn’t help but turn her head and ask, "Where are we going?"
"Where do you want to go?" William Griffith glanced at her, his voice deep, and added, "I’m hungry."
"How about we go to a tea house for breakfast? I know there’s one nearby." She thought for a moment, then happily suggested.
William Griffith didn’t have any objections. He simply asked, "Do you know the way there?"
"I’ll show you the way." Cherish Turner happily raised the corner of her lips.
