Chapter 482: Chapter 483: Desecration

Cherish Turner didn’t know what had come over her, but on a whim, after taking a shower, she came to his apartment.

It had been a long time since anyone had been here, and he probably wouldn’t come again in the future.

Once, she and William Griffith had slept together in this bed. She had cooked delicious food in this kitchen. Now, perhaps there would never be such an opportunity again.

The thought made Cherish feel inexplicably heartbroken.

She was lost in her own world, not realizing that someone had already come in behind her.

As William watched Cherish’s lingering silhouette moving back and forth in the room, his heart swelled with emotion.

"Didn’t you give the ring back to me? Why are you here now? Actually, Cherish, can’t you forget about me, can you?" William could hardly control his excitement. Yet, for some reason, his words came out sounding like a businessman’s rhetoric.

Cherish felt as if her heart had been shattered in that instant.

She never expected him to suddenly appear. Shouldn’t he be at Deep Wave Mansion?

Unable to control himself, William swiftly closed the distance between them and pulled her into his embrace. His movements were rough and not at all like the steady and calm William of the past.

Everything was a mess.

Was he going to provoke her again and then cast her aside?

She refused!

"No! No! I’m not trying to forget you; I just came to collect my things. Leave me alone!" She struggled to push him away, but he remained still. It wasn’t until she had no more strength to resist that he murmured enigmatic words, "Cherish, sometimes I really don’t know what to do with you."

Cherish felt bewildered for a moment, unable to understand what he had said. Then, like an invasion, his cold lips pressed against hers, his tongue roughly prying open her lips, forcefully invading her, stirring and sweeping her mouth like a sharp arrow, occupying every corner, leaving her breathless and unable to make a sound.

"Mmph—"

William aggressively pushed her down on the sofa, his left knee spreading her legs apart, his large hand grabbing both her wrists above her head, preventing any chance of her resisting.

This pure and innocent face, devoid of any makeup and seemingly indifferent, appeared as bright as sunlight, unexpectedly shining into his world and making his heart race. But this sunlight did not exclusively shine upon him, so why was he still so infatuated?

"Please don’t do this! I don’t want this! Please!" Her endless pleas eventually turned into a desperate cry, "William Griffith!"

"You’re clearly reacting to me, aren’t you?" As his fingers felt a hint of moisture, William leaned down, his wickedly enchanting voice breathing against her ear, not realizing how much he was struggling to control himself.

Cherish closed her eyes, not knowing how to face him and not wanting to see him. In a soft murmur, she said, "William Griffith, do you really see me as so cheap, to be ruined like this by you?"

So, she had used that word...

What exactly was he doing?

Suddenly, William released her and retreated several steps, his entire being in shock.

Seizing the opportunity, Cherish escaped through the door, leaving her tears of humiliation hidden deep within her heart.

William wondered if he was truly about to lose her forever.
