Domineering Love
Chapter 301 - 301 301 Savior

Chapter 301: Chapter 301: Savior Chapter 301: Chapter 301: Savior Cherish Turner was determined not to be swayed by William Griffith’s kindness towards her, no matter how small. She had to seal off her heart, not allowing him to control her thoughts.

William’s gentleness to her was like poison; once she was tainted by it, she knew she would be done for.

At any moment, he could take back his feelings, and Cherish refused to let herself be so pathetic.

So, she quietly ate her porridge. Eventually, it became more comfortable and she was able to keep it down without feeling nauseous, as she stopped resisting.

Mother Goodman, seeing Cherish enjoying her meal, served more side dishes. Cherish was grateful for the maid’s care and raised her eyes to meet hers, uttering a “thank you.”

William recalled how he had just gone to a convenience store for sanitary pads for her and now she completely ignored him, which made him feel upset.

Was she treating him like air? He angrily cut into his toast, biting into it with disgust.

All these years, he had always been in control of everything he did, never showing weakness in the business world. But when faced with Cherish, he sometimes felt so furious that he wanted to strangle her. However, he knew that bullying Cherish wouldn’t make him feel any better either.

After enduring in silence for a few minutes, he finally couldn’t take it anymore.

William looked at her sitting across the table, her distant countenance, and he felt anger welling up inside.

Cherish, lost in thought, ate mechanically, choking because the spoonfuls came too quickly. As a result, she coughed so much she teared up.

Mother Goodman hurriedly handed her a glass of water, but in their haste, Cherish accidentally knocked the glass over.

William felt suffocated by the scene. Was she deliberately pushing him to compromise by continuing to torment herself like this?

With a heavy sigh, he put down his knife and fork and roared, “If eating is that painful, then stop! You don’t need to hurt yourself like this, it doesn’t help either of us!”

Cherish covered her mouth, trying to stop herself from coughing, but her heart was filled with injustice. She hadn’t been thinking as he had assumed; it seemed that now every action of hers would be misconstrued. She had nothing to say in her defense.

Since he had said so, she felt it would be rude to continue eating. As a result, Cherish obediently set down her utensils and cup, then took a calming breath.

He stared at her, his eagle-like eyes full of frustration and anger.

Mother Goodman was anxious, thinking that after sleeping together the night before, the tension between them should have been resolved. Yet, they were still like this!

William stormed away from the breakfast table, and the atmosphere around him darkened. Dammit, was eating such a miserable affair for her? Did she need to give him such a look? In her eyes, was he so abhorrent? After all these days together, was there nothing in him she wanted to cherish?

An unprecedented sense of frustration tormented William’s heart over and over.

Cherish hung her head, indifferent. It didn’t matter, he wouldn’t understand her anyway. Words were useless.

She could only wish for these days to end soon. This kind of relationship was just too exhausting!

Meanwhile, at the Haicheng Airport, a flight from Japan had just arrived…
