Chapter 284: Chapter 284: Men’s Jealousy Chapter 284: Chapter 284: Men’s Jealousy Cherish Turner left in a rush, causing concern as William Griffith and Yannis Griffith both followed her outside. The Griffith Family elders were extremely annoyed by the sight of both men caring for the same woman.

“Yannis, go and see Grace Harper in the hospital room. She’s the one you should be concerned about right now.” His grandmother said.

Yannis, reluctantly letting go of Cherish Turner’s hand, returned to the hospital room under pressure from his elders.

Meanwhile, Cherish freed herself from William and said she was fine.

William thought that maybe Grace had said something to Cherish that upset her. After looking at his grandparents, he quickly took Cherish’s hand and they left together.

As they walked away, William asked Cherish if Grace had said something. Cherish stopped, looked at him, and replied, “What do you think she would say?”

Cherish also felt like she was being unreasonable, but she couldn’t control her emotions. She whispered, “William, I’ll go back by myself. I just need some time to be alone.”

She needed to seriously adjust herself. She wanted to go to Kyoto City.

In the end, William did not stop her. He had a feeling that Cherish would soon be fully awake.

That night, Cherish locked herself in her room. Her parents thought she might have argued with William. They wanted to ask, but Father Turner decided not to bring it up and gave them some space.

In her room, Cherish wanted to talk to someone, but she didn’t know who to call. She thought about calling her friend, but there was no answer.

Where on Earth had her friend gone, after all?

She had never disappeared like this before.

That night, Cherish had another dream, one that she’d had a long time ago. In the dark room, someone was pressing down on her. Her eyes were covered, and she couldn’t see. But she could feel that person constantly taking things from her body. Apart from pain, she felt nothing else.

She woke up with a start. Drenched in sweat and dry-mouthed, the dream felt so real that it seemed as if it had really happened to her.

The person was her, but who was that man?

The first time William tried to kiss her, she had flashes of similar scenes in her mind. Though she didn’t want to connect the two, why did it keep coming back to her?

Cherish held the blanket in the dark, panting heavily. She reached for her phone on the bedside table and saw that it was 3 a.m.

Did she know William five years ago? Why couldn’t she remember anything?
