Domineering Love
Chapter 211 - 211 211 Lying

Chapter 211: Chapter 211: Lying! Chapter 211: Chapter 211: Lying! “Let’s break up.” Finally, Cherish Turner grabbed William Griffith’s arm, speaking earnestly.

William’s movements suddenly halted, he stared at Cherish, disbelief written all over his face.

“What did you say?” His voice was deep, concealing the anger welled up inside, struggling to keep himself from exploding.

“You heard everything, William. Let’s not deceive ourselves anymore, let go.”

If they continued this way, she might go crazy. Rather than suffer greater pain later, it was better to draw back before it was too late.

“I need a reason.” Facing Cherish, William managed to regain some composure. He let go of Tanigawa Kenichi, his piercing gaze dangerouly fixated on Cherish, waiting for her response.

“I don’t love you anymore.”

“Lies!” William retorted almost instantly. He was prepared to believe anyone else saying they didn’t love him, but not when Cherish said it. If her love was gone, why were her eyes still brimming with sadness and pain? Shouldn’t there be no emotions left at all?

“Why would I lie, William? Who do you think you are? Do you think every woman should revolve around you? Don’t forget how we met, it was a ridiculous transaction. Falling for you was my moment of folly!”

Cherish felt both wronged and angry, as if attempting to expel all the pain in her heart. But seeing William’s gaze fixed upon her, she couldn’t help but avert her eyes out of guilt. This guilt made William more certain – she was lying.

Cherish avoided his gaze, pulling Tanigawa up from the ground before turning to William. “You should leave, I’ve said all I needed to. We shouldn’t see each other again. As you can see, Tanigawa and I share similar interests and are of the same age, we make a good match. What happened between us can be considered a dream that should never have occurred. Now that I’ve woken up, it’s all over.”

Tanigawa remained silent at this moment, realizing that anything he said would be inappropriate.

Seeing the affection in Cherish’s eyes, it was obvious she still had feelings for William and his heart was tormented by the contradiction.

If William walked away under such circumstances, then he would no longer be William Griffith!

He threw a cold glance at Tanigawa, arrogantly asking: “Are you sure you want a woman whose heart is filled with another man?”

The words were a clear provocation towards Tanigawa, but also the truth.

“I’m not sure. But William, by the same token, are you insisting that Cherish should love a man whose heart holds another woman?”

These words held a massive implication, striking at the heart of Cherish’s wound.

“What do you mean?” William asked.

“What I mean, you know very well in your heart, there’s no need for me to say more!”

As if remembering something, William’s gaze suddenly fell on Cherish.

“Did you go back to Haicheng?” He was sure he’d felt her nearby when he called her. If she had returned, did she see him with Chloe Turner? Did her anger and resoluteness stem from misunderstanding that he had another woman, thus leading her to jealously suffer?

If that was the case, William suddenly understood everything.

“I’ve been in Tokyo all this while, how could I have possibly been in Haicheng?” Cherish responded in a less than pleasant tone, revealing the subtle anxiety and perplexity within her heart.
