Speaking fluent English with a slight Japanese accent, he introduced the traditional Japanese dishes on the cart. The vibrant colors and exquisite craftsmanship of the food almost made Cherish drool.

“Miss Turner, all of this has been personally prepared for you by Mr. William Griffith. Here are your cards, flowers, and incense. He mentioned that after a long flight, lighting some incense would help you get a good night’s sleep.”

As he said this, the Japanese young man neatly displayed everything, then bowed at a ninety-degree angle and respectfully left.

So, all of this was prepared by William? But they had only parted a few hours ago, and yet he managed to arrange all of this in such a short time. How did he know which hotel she was staying at?

The omnipotent William made pink bubbles pop in Cherish’s heart. She secretly resolved that she had to keep working hard to be worthy of his attentive affection.

Almost immediately, Cherish took out her phone and dialed William’s number.

The call was answered quickly, as if William had been waiting for her to call all along.

“Boss?” Thomas Harrison was still talking in the conference room. All the company’s senior executives looked in surprise at their president. President Griffith had a severe work ethic, and this was the first time they had seen him answer a call during a meeting.

William waved his hand to stop Thomas from speaking and stood up from his seat. This girl must have received the surprise he had prepared.

William left the conference room, and Thomas quickly understood. Miss Turner held a special place in the boss’s heart. So he told those in attendance that the meeting was temporarily suspended.

At this moment, it was a sunny day in their city. William’s tall figure stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, listening to her bell-like voice. Everything else seemed to vanish.

“Arrived at the hotel?”

Cherish replied, “Yeah, I just got here. Are you a magician, William? How did you conjure up all these amazing things for me? There are so many items in the platter that I’ve never seen or heard of before, even while researching. They look so fancy, and I can’t calm down. When I’m still, I can hear my excited heartbeat. Isn’t that embarrassing?”

Cherish was sitting on the hotel sofa, looking at the food and flowers on the table, feeling like she was in a dream.

He could always surprise her.

Cherish thought that at this rate, she would be spoiled rotten!

“But then I thought, I can actually act quite elegant in front of others. It’s okay if I’m only embarrassing in front of you, right?”

William raised an eyebrow as he listened. This girl was becoming more and more talkative!

“By the way, how did you know all this? How did you know I’m staying at this hotel? Oh, also, the guy who brought in the food earlier was so handsome. I got inspired for my writing again!” Cherish deliberately said this, becoming more mischievous as William treated her better.

William just gave a cold laugh, knowing she wouldn’t be pleased with herself for too long.

“Stay focused on your studies in Tokyo. Don’t wander around. Do not go to clubs with your newfound colleagues and classmates. Do not drink alcohol. Do you understand to stay away from male beings?”

“How can that be? I’m supposed to blend in with the locals and build relationships with everyone. I can’t be too cold and aloof. Hey… what did you say? Oh William, the signal is bad, I can’t hear you. Let’s talk later!”

Cherish mischievously hung up the phone with a cunning look on her face.

Having reported her safety to William, Cherish hastily hung up the phone for another reason too – because hearing his voice for too long would really make her pregnant!
