Cliff Mountain Range, amidst a cluster of mountains.
Teaching Institute Grand Elder Qingxuzi, carrying a long sword, arrived in a cavern covered in a vast expanse of Mysterious Runes.
The cavern had numerous branching paths, interconnected tunnels, a looped and tortuous layout, leading in all directions.
On the walls were patches of red runes, emitting a faint fluorescence.
However, this glow was suppressed by dense, dark energy.
The black mists, thin and wispy, lingered in every corner of the cavern, rolling and churning, dark and deep, with a bone-chilling coldness.
Moreover, countless bizarre and vicious-looking demon shadows hid within.
These were Killing Spirits formed from the fusion of impure energy and Killing Power, craving the blood of the living, choosing their prey to devour.
Yet Qingxuzi seemed unconcerned, gliding through the cavern as if it were second nature.
Occasional Killing Spirits lunged at him, but in a flash they evaporated into wisps of black mist that dispersed between heaven and earth.
After about half a moment, Qingxuzi arrived at a vast space within the cavern.
Its length and width were both two thousand feet, and it was also a hundred feet tall.
The walls and domed ceiling appeared as though they were chiseled by axes, incredibly lustrous, the entire space like a massive hall.
Beneath, however, lay an abyss so deep it seemed bottomless, dark and boundless below, its destination unknown.
One could vaguely make out demon shadows flitting about, and threads of Blood Springs flowing out from the cliffs. They fell downwards, ultimately converging into a Blood River waterfall.
Upon closer inspection, one could find numerous strangely shaped things within this Blood River waterfall.
Inside there were little creatures as tiny as thumbs, ferocious demon heads roaring, and Divine Beast infants enveloped in blood flames…
They struggled and roared within the Blood River, emitting strange noises.
Some of them were fortunate enough to break free from the Blood River and fly towards the upper mouth of the abyss, yet just as they neared the brink, they were obliterated by threads of slicing Sword Qi.
This Sword Qi was as slender as silk, yet able to annihilate everything, eradicating their blood energy, Spirit Soul, and even their essence, completely annihilating, sweeping, and purifying them.
Qingxuzi glanced below, his thick eyebrows momentarily furrowing, then flew up and landed on a Stone Platform in the middle of the abyss.
This Stone Platform hung in the air above the abyss, ten feet in length and width, with a woman sitting cross-legged on it.
She wore a loose green Daoist robe, her back to Qingxuzi, her white hair cascading over her shoulders, her face indiscernible.
By the woman’s side hovered four giant Curved Blades, rotating like a wheel around her.
This was also the source of the boundless Sword Qi above the abyss.
“What an unexpected visitor.”
The woman seemed slightly surprised by Qingxuzi’s arrival.
Her voice was hoarse and sharp, like the sound of a pure spring with blades stuffed in it, and her tone was unkind, “The Teaching Institute Grand Elder is busy with numerous duties, managing everything every day. What brings you here today?”
Qingxuzi smiled broadly, “This Ten Thousand Demon Cave is connected to the rise and fall of our sect, shouldn’t I come and see it?”
“Then you can go back now,” the woman said coldly. “I can handle it here. You should worry more about our Sect Master and Elder Feng. I’m concerned about our Sect Master’s condition. Suppressing the Ten Thousand Demon Cave all year round has nearly depleted his Primordial Qi.”
The Ten Thousand Demon Cave had three entrances, each suppressed by three individuals.
Her position was only one of them, yet it was the largest and most dangerous.
“There’s no point in me going there, I can’t help at all.”
Qingxuzi gave a wry smile, “To relieve the Sect Master’s predicament, we must solve the problem at its root.”
“The root?” The woman let out a scornful laugh, her face showing a mix of self-mockery, sorrow, and regret, “If you knew you couldn’t help, why bother coming here? Rest assured, the situation within the Ten Thousand Demon Cave is relatively stable. The ninety-six Ancient Giant Gods sealed here have only seventeen with awakened consciousness, all still weak in power and currently unable to do anything.
Right now, they can only use their own blood to nourish the filth energy spirit poison, turning them into Ten Thousand Demon Blood Servants, on one hand trying to break the seals within the cave, and on the other, trying to create a passage to the Abnormal Void worlds. I and the Sect Master can still handle it. If it really comes down to it, we can perish alongside them, ensuring that the demons within this cave do not break through the Seals and bring disaster to the Northern States.
In fact, a few years ago, Mu Ge sweeping through the Ice Extreme Three States and nearly annihilating the Night Wolf Tribe already significantly improved our situation. Unlike before, not only did we have to suppress these Ancient Giant Gods but also deal with those pups from the Night Wolf Tribe – truly annoying—”
At this moment, Qingxuzi interjected, “Today, the Sect Master bestowed Qin Muge’s Sky Wave Residence to a new entry-level Disciple to live in.”
The woman’s four giant Curved Blades suddenly paused, hanging motionless in mid-air.
However, the boundless Sword Qi became even stronger, constantly extending downward, grinding all the Blood Demons that had not yet reached the mouth of the cave to dust.
An even sharper blade light directly slashed towards Qingxuzi’s forehead, cutting through his multiple Divine Prohibitions and layers of Vigorous Force, practically reaching his skin.
The white-haired woman’s voice was icy cold, “Before I entered the Ten Thousand Demon Cave, I told you all not to touch anything left by Mu Ge!”
Qingxuzi did not resist, standing still, “We have our reasons for doing this, this person is the master of the Blood Vengeance Divine Blade, the new Blood Vengeance Saint.”
“Blood Vengeance Saint?”
The white-haired woman’s voice showed a hint of surprise, then she coldly continued, “Impossible! After Mu Ge, no one in this world can inherit the Blood Vengeance Divine Blade. The Vengeful Bloodline has disappeared from the Mortal World, and the Blood Revenge Blade Lord of the past also awakened by accident in a Secret Realm. He didn’t leave any offspring, and no one else in this world has the power to awaken the Blood of Vengeance.
