Chapter 1201: Chapter 1200: Silhouettes of Elegance and Grace

“Hey, Li Wei! Professor!”

With long black hair, sun-kissed skin, a strong and well-proportioned figure, and a bright and radiant smile, she showed no signs of shyness or restraint. Her bright eyes were full of enthusiasm and excitement, and the curves hidden under her T-shirt and jeans effortlessly caught the eye.

Adriana Lima gallantly and energetically strode towards Li Wei, looking at him generously.

Without waiting for Li Wei’s response, she opened her arms for a big hug, accompanied by two cheek kisses, and loudly asked right by Li Wei’s ear.

“Didn’t expect to see you here?”

So generous and direct, it felt as if they had known each other for years; but in reality, this was Li Wei and Lima’s first meeting.

Adriana Lima, a Victoria’s Secret model, has been one of the world’s highest-earning and most famous models over the past fifteen years.

Since the millennium, the global highest-earning model throne has long been occupied by Gisele Bundchen—wife of Brady, the NFL’s former first man; and behind her, Lima often ranks as either second or third, frequently appearing on lists of the world’s sexiest goddesses.

Unlike Hollywood’s delicate dolls, Lima, born in Brazil, grew up in the streets, exuding a naturally healthy wild beauty. She laughs loudly, cries loudly, straightforward and outgoing, catching people’s attention like the sunshine everywhere she goes.

The same goes for now.

Even though it’s Li Wei’s first time meeting Lima, he can feel her warmth, “I’m genuinely not surprised to meet you here.”

“They say if you can’t see Adriana Lima at a football stadium, you’ll definitely see her at a racetrack.”

His jest made Lima laugh brightly without any reserve, and she waved her hand repeatedly, “You know we shouldn’t overshadow Gisele—that’s her territory.”

Li Wei smirked, “Do you not know that my job is to beat Brady? So you and everyone else are very welcome to watch the game next time at the football field.”

“Haha.” Lima laughed again, leaning back and forth, placing her right hand on Li Wei’s shoulder, “I would love to see that guy get some setbacks more often.”

Li Wei raised an eyebrow slightly, “Seems like there’s a story here.”

Lima put her right index finger to her lips, “Shh!” She winked at Li Wei, showing a “you know my secret, keep it” expression.

Then Lima didn’t bother with pleasantries, “Is this your first time watching F1 live?”

Li Wei followed suit, “I do need a guide, I wonder if you’re available?”

Lima smiled subtly, casting a meaningful glance at the Netflix production team nearby—they are the best guide for Li Wei, aren’t they?

But Lima didn’t point it out, exchanged a look with Li Wei, “Of course, it’s my honor.”

Li Wei beamed, “By the way, I forgot to introduce myself, Li Wei, non-race car driver.”

Lima was taken aback, laughed heartily again, yet placed her right hand on her left chest, politely bending over, “Adriana Lima, aspiring race car driver substitute.”

Then she spread her hands, “Unfortunately, there are no female race car drivers in F1.”

Li Wei, “There weren’t any before, doesn’t mean there won’t be any in the future. I mean, as far as I know, there weren’t any Asian running backs in the NFL before either.”

Lima, “Haha, correct.” Then paused, laughing even more joyfully, “Haha, absolutely correct. Dreams, you always need to have them, and what if they come true?”

Chatting leisurely, they strolled along, making their way up the small slope towards the VIP stands.

Surprisingly, people continuously came up to greet and say hello to Li Wei—

The air was filled with fragrance, and the scene was lively and colorful.

Even more surprisingly, Lima knew most of them, she confidently acted as an introducer, connecting Li Wei with those strangers.

There were heirs from wealthy families, tech giants and entrepreneurs from emerging tech companies, Wall Street elites and hedge fund managers, agricultural or energy tycoons from the Central Region, royal family members from the Middle East, luxury goods magnates or top fashion designers.

There were high-profile public relations people, top stars from ice hockey or baseball, actors and singers, Hollywood producers or Silicon Valley startup CEOs.

All sorts of people! Everything was there!

It was truly eye-opening.

Even more interesting and astonishing is that they all knew Li Wei. All of them!

Compared to London, returning to the North American continent, especially here in Austin, the influence of football is deeply felt, beyond imagination.

Li Wei, the new face of the NFL, the League’s First Man, not only breaking records but also shaking the League—

Naturally, he was the hot commodity, loved by all.

No one expected to see Li Wei outside the football field, not the Li Wei running wildly in Arrowhead Stadium, but the Li Wei close by, laughing and moving, just like the way Li Wei admired Raikkonen moments ago, people saw him with admiration, unable to contain their excitement.

Of course, that’s not all; there were models too.

Karlie Kloss, Kendall Jenner, Behati Prinsloo, Gigi Hadid, Barbara Palvin, and many more.

One after another, they surrounded Li Wei in layers.

These mentioned, they were just those whose names were exchanged—and Li Wei might turn around and forget, as the numbers were overwhelming, the refresh rate was too fast to keep up; as for those who didn’t get a chance to exchange names, there were even more, easily surpassing double digits, the entire world spinning like a kaleidoscope at high speed.

Before setting out, Li Wei had mentally prepared himself, but the actual situation still far exceeded expectations, with no time even to catch a breath.

Lima had long been called away by friends, the incompetent guide vanished, leaving Li Wei alone to slowly be swallowed by the crowd.

Li Wei never thought he would be in such a flustered state.

A whirlwind of excitement ensued.

When Raikkonen passed by again, he could instantly see the colorful scene, Li Wei surrounded in the center looking slightly bewildered.

According to Raikkonen’s own personality, he would pretend he didn’t see and just pass by; but a brief encounter with Li Wei earlier flickered in his mind, his footsteps slightly slowing.

In hesitation and uncertainty, Raikkonen wasn’t sure what to do.

Finally, Raikkonen simply stood aside, inserting himself into Li Wei’s line of sight amidst the bustling crowd, leaving the rest up to Li Wei to understand his offer of help.

Indeed, Li Wei got the hint, sighting Raikkonen amidst the dense crowd, quickly raising his right hand.

“Hey, Kimi!”

Raikkonen didn’t speak, just lifted his chin in a greeting.

Li Wei immediately nodded to the surrounding crowd, escaped the encirclement, and quickly approached Raikkonen, “Kimi, you’re here; we…”

We, then what?

Raikkonen silently glanced at the figures behind Li Wei; seeing the “Ice Man” expressionless face, one by one stopped in their tracks, seamlessly picking up Li Wei’s words.

“I just said I’d take you to tour the pit area, and now is the perfect time; wait a little longer, and there might not be a chance.”
