"Where is that thing?"

"I don’t know; I just felt something mingling in here, causing all of this. She told me it was because of the fake World Clock Fragment."

"I never said that. I simply mentioned that the core of this temporal chaos is a man named Li En and a fragment of a time device."

Gladys shrugged defensively. If she herself had said it, it would be one thing, but Feng Yuan’s words could easily mislead others. At least so far, she could not be certain that the device fragment was indeed a fake World Clock Fragment.

"So what exactly happened?"

Feng Yuan spoke somewhat speechlessly. Until now, he still didn’t know what had happened here. With the confusion in time, he couldn’t determine the era of these people. Besides, if Agunas couldn’t find any related information on Li En, it was difficult for him to search with the existing conditions.

Gitalien cocked his head in silence, surveying the Foreyn mansion enveloped by its spatial barrier. The power from the Yin World that had just penetrated the time turbulence was clearly Feng Yuan’s doing. Gitalien hadn’t expected Feng Yuan to be inside as well.

Gitalien shrank its neck a little and stepped back. If it weren’t for the fact that this was its designated defense area, it really wouldn’t want to get involved.

Glancing at Gitalien, the woman replied curtly and, brushing his hold off, Gitalien stared at her with growing anger and said,

"What do those have to do with me?! I! Said! The! Area! Ahead! Is! Off! Limits!"

"I have very important business. I know you mean well, but..."

Digging out the device again and adjusting it, the woman spoke while tinkering. Gitalien watched her with a dissatisfied curl of the lip and said,

"Whether or not I mean well, what does it have to do with you? Just don’t add to the chaos, okay?"

"Keep this up, and I’m calling for help!"

"You call then!"

Locking gazes with Gitalien, the woman said defiantly. Gitalien glared back furiously and declared,

"Just you wait!"

"Since you all want to make a big scene, let’s just call everyone over!"

Hearing Gitalien’s words said in a fit of temper, the woman asked out of curiosity,

"Who wants to make a big scene?"

"Who else! That bastard! Always so prim and proper usually, but now they’re just trying to cause destruction!"

Gitalien complained angrily. Seeing the woman’s device fail again, Gitalien said smugly,

"Forget about it, you can’t get through~"

"Damn it! How can it be so strong! Wait a minute!"

A dazzling light arose from the direction of the Foreyn mansion, and Gitalien’s expression changed as it grabbed the woman. In the next moment, the surrounding space transformed.

"Damn you! It’s all your fault!"

Gitalien complained irritably to the woman in its arms. They had been pulled into the time turbulence without warning, surrounded by creatures of darkness. The woman pulled out a hand crossbow, eager to test it, and said,

"Time Wanderers, huh? Perfect chance to try out this weapon."

Gitalien let go of the woman, and an invisible spatial barrier formed beneath their feet, feeling as solid as the ground. The woman looked at Gitalien in amazement and said,

"You’re quite formidable! Creating a floor in such a time-chaotic zone."

"What time-chaotic zone! This is the Chaos zone in the time turbulence, okay!"

Gitalien roared in frustration. It couldn’t get out of this kind of place on its own. Thankfully, Gitalien could still contact Lorraine Tower and have it come to pick them up. Just thinking how it had originally planned to observe from the perimeter and ended up swept inside, Gitalien glared at the woman resentfully.
